Lives are lost in the flames of darkness

Two older women behind the counter of the cafe` were both looking at the strange girl named Kokoro and the younge maiden with her: Manami.
"My that Miss Manami is a brave child, Sister Mii"
said the shorter women behind the counter.

"Yes sister Lii, especially when she is putting her own brother in such danger"

"Yes, that thing Kokoro is a monster."

"You two!! Be quiet how rude is that!"
shouted a waitress
The two sisters ignored the waitress and began to speak quieter.

"Sister Lii, I believe we should tell the counsil about that monster."

"No we must not. The moster will eat us."

"But sister if we do not she will surely eat both Manami and Haru."
said sister Mii with harshness in her voice.

"We can't have that can we? I guess we-They are coming in here!!"
Manami and Haru both enter the cafe`. Haru was drentched in sweat and Manami had a shawl over her head. The summer hit was getting to them more then ever.

"HELLO!!"
said both sisters in unison

"Good evening Lady Mii and Lii."
greeted Manami

"Hello, good evening"
mumbled Haru
Haru didn't like coming into the cafe`. He thought the two sisters were old ladies that gossip to much and were witches . Everyone believed that, but no one would say anything for the fear of there souls. They believed that if you say something rude to a witch that they would still your souls. Haru was not afraid of them so he would have said something to them, but his sister wouldn't allow it.

"HARU!!What an adorable child"
Sister Mii approached Haru and squeezed his cheeks.

"How old is he?"
asked Sister Lii
Manami smiled and placed her soft hands on Haru

"He is eight at the moment."

"How wonderful."
said Sister Mii giving Haru a toothy smile.
Manami and the two sister's began talking about the weather and how hot it was getting. And how they all were consirned about the town.

"Miss Manami?"
asked a waitress.
It wasn't the same waitress as before. She was a lot younger and had pink like hair. She was shorter then Manami by three inches. And shes looked like a child; with rosey cheeks and a little chubby face.

"Hmm. Hello Tsukiko"

"Miss Manami were is-"
Tsukiko is very shy around Manami, even though she has known Manamie for a long time now.

"Miss Manami were is Lady Kokoro?"

Both the sisters glared at Tsukiko for even saying that name.
They told Tsukiko many times to never mention that name ever. The two sisters had told everyone that if they mention Kokoro they would surely be punished.

"Tsukiko."
The two sisters had an irritaded tone in thier voice.
They wanted to fire Tsukiko the first day they hired her, but her father was very wealthy.

"ummm. Yes Lady Lii and Mii."

"hmm. I believe that you should go back to work."
said Sister Lii with an evil smile.

"Yes ma'am."

"Tsukiko. Lady Kokoro is outside with Isamu."
said Manami before Tsukiko left.
