A Love for all things beautiful~preface

There he was, on the TV screen, eyes shut, microphone to his lips, singing with all his heart and soul. This is what made him beautiful, this is what made him different than all the rest. And if I wasn't protestant christian,and believed in more than 1 God, I would truly believe that he was a God. But there he was, appearing on the TV screen, on a stage, at a concert, that I should've been able to go to, if it wasn't for the obsurd ticket prices....

I hear of rumors that he is going to have a concert in February, my birthday month. But alas, that's two months away, for it's December. It's after Christmas, it's the 26th. I got a really cool sirius radio, that I've already programed to alert me when Rain came on a different station then the one I'm on at that moment. Also, as my family isn't foreign to my love of the band, a ton of Rain CDs. Those are a few of the gifts that highlighted my Christmas evening.
The concert was coming to an end, and it cut to comercial, it was what came on next that caught my undivided attention. The TV announced,"Are you a big fan of Rain? Then come to their next concert on February 1st! What better way to make memories for the new year of 2008? If you ordertickets in the next 6 days, you can get them on discount, for the low price of 7500 yen!!", ($75 in america...),"Be there or be Square!", I quickly grabed a piece of paper, and a pen and scribbled down the number. What a lame saying,"Be there or be square"- that's what I would've thought, if I had the time to ponder it, that is. But at that moment, I was to busey figuring out how I would ask for the money...
