Sirius Black stood up. He'd been sitting on his bed doing nothing for about an hour, while James and Jasmine talked.

"I'm gonna go to the Library. Got homework." He mumbled.

"Wow, and you're actually gonna do it? Don't try too hard. You might pull something." Jasmine commented from James' bed.

"How long did it take for you to come up with that remark?" Sirius snapped.

"A couple of my best hours." Jasmine admitted, staring at Sirius. He stared back, not sure what to say. He gave a sigh of frustration and turned back to the door. Sirius grabbed the handle forcefully and wrenched the door open.

Well, off it's hinges. He yelled incoherently for a few seconds, the door on top of him, then he pushed it off and stood up. He looked straight at Jasmine and James, who were, of course, laughing.

"Do you have to laugh?" He asked rhetorically.

"No." James replied truthfully.

He didn't expect that.

"But we will anyway." Jasmine finished.

That he expected.

"How is it even funny!?" Sirius asked, frustrated. This kind of thing had been happening a lot. The laces of his shoes had gone missing, so had the elastic in his trousers and underwear, all of his parchment now had large holes in it, and someone had cut an inch off the top of all of his quills. It was becoming more than not funny in Sirius' eyes.

"Because I did it when I came in." Jasmine answered; the laughing finished.

"And you put the door back up?" Sirius yelled, angrily.

"Yeah!" Jasmine said, grinning and nodding her head.

"That's it. These purple aliens are going down!" Sirius screamed.

Jasmine stood up. "PURPLE AND ORANGE!"

At that moment, the walls of the dormitory collapsed. Purple alien with orange spots stood there, a large bin bag behind it.

"MY STUFF!" Sirius yelled, running at the bag and tipping all of his missing belongings out of it.

"NO! NO, you can't have it!" The alien pointed at the stuff, and it all became covered in cement, Sirius too.

"Hey, I'm stuck! I'm- I'm really stuck guys! Help!" He yelled, pulling at his legs, which were covered in cement.

The alien let out a loud screechy cry and four or five identical aliens joined this one. They began singing something and dancing around the mound of cement.

"Jazz, your theory. It's coming true!" James said, snapping one of Sirius' bed planks from the mound and started hitting the cement with it.

"I told him! Where is that guy! REMUS!" She yelled down to the common room. After a few seconds Remus came running into the dorm.

"TOLD YOU!" Jasmine yelled in his face jokingly.

"Will you guys just help me?" James yelled, screwing up his face. The aliens' song was getting louder and higher pitched.

"Are you wizard or not, James?" Remus asked, waving his wand so that all of the cement had disappeared.

"Oh." James said quietly, feeling rather stupid. The aliens screamed and a few of them flew out of the hole in the wall. Two turned and started advancing on Remus, arms waving wildly.

Jasmine grabbed a slightly bent metal pole and threw it as hard as she could at the alien closest to her. The purple and orange blob fell backwards, unconscious. The other one stared at Jasmine, furious. It threw itself at Jasmine, arms flailing, claws shining dangerously in the sunlight.

James got in the way.

A few minutes later, the alien followed the others, carrying the unconscious one with it.

Jasmine was paralysed, the shock and fear had taken over her as she stared after Remus and Sirius carried James out of the dormitory.

When she snapped back to reality Jasmine ran after the boys, only catching up in the hospital wing.

"Are you all right, Jazz?" Remus asked, watching her come in.

"Fuck me, is James gonna be okay?" She asked, shaking.

James was lying unconscious on the bed nearest the doors. Madam Quincey was stood over him and magically healing his cuts.

"They're deeper than I thought." She mumbled, watching the scars burn red and slice themselves back open again. "What happened to him?"

"These purple and orange aliens in my imagination came alive and attacked me but James got in the way. Is he gonna be okay?" Jasmine relied quickly.

"I've never seen anything like this before. As far as I see the cuts themselves aren't doing damage, just the loss of blood."

James' face had a grey-ish tinge to it and was slowly becoming a kind of suffocated blue.

Madam Quincey looked down at him. "We're gonna have to transfer him to St. Mungos." She put her wand into a small hole in the end of the bed and the room around them dissolved, a white, clean looking hospital room taking its place.

A healer shooed Remus, Sirius and Jasmine out into the hall and went back to look at James.

Sirius started pacing and Remus banged his head against the wall. Jasmine pulled an old magazine out of a holder near a blue chair and started tearing strips out of the pages and stuffing them in her mouth.

Sirius and Remus stopped in mid action to stare at Jasmine.

"What the-" Remus pointed at Jasmine.

Sirius frowned at her.

"It's either this or I eat you, your choice." She warned, swallowing the glossy pages.

"That can't be good for your digestive system." Remus pointed out.

"Exactly. I don't have a knife, I don’t have a gun, I don’t have anything but this magazine and you guys."

Sirius opened his mouth to reply, then thought better of it and sat down next to Jasmine, taking a bite out of the magazine.

"Sirius!" Remus yelled.

"Yes mother?" Sirius replied. His eyes were red and puffy, his skin an even paler shade than Jasmines, but only just. "I've known James longer than you guys have put together. I was there when he tried to kill himself, I helped him through his drug problem and when he became an alcoholic. I don't know what I'm gonna do if he doesn't get better." A tear leaked from his eye and him and Jasmine hugged for a minute.

Remus had never felt more alone. Jasmine and James had each other, Sirius had June, Peter would never miss company. He missed Abbey. He'd seen her last in this hospital, even if it was a hallucination of sorts. He looked down the hall, there were identical closed, white doors running along the stretching, clean white walls, a bathroom at the end. Either the whole of St. Mungos was exactly like this or this was the place.

He broke into a run and burst into the bathroom. He slammed a cubicle door behind him, leant against it and slid to floor, tears streaming down his face.
