-_-

Two days, two boring days. You hadn’t seen Blaine out and about for some time, Jason always stayed in his room at all costs except when it came to food, it seemed Rowark was always keeping an eye on you. As if to expect you to that door again and Damian, well you didn’t know where he’d went off to.

Trying to eliminate your boredom you had went to the library and grabbed the first interesting book you saw and you were currently reading something titled along the lines of ‘Herbit Shrewman’s Spells of Romance.’ Being on page twelve now of the over sized book you didn’t know that the title was being literal. The book’s pages were filled with Love potions, Romance spells, In-love remedies, Out-of-love remedies, even mood setters, and something about aroma therapy. It interested you to see the odd spells apparently were out there, well that could possibly be out there. The horrendous age of the book and not knowing if it was truthful made you doubt it.

You heard the door open and foot steps, but didn’t look over. You were in a chair that was positioned so who ever it was would be walking in front of you in a moment anyways. Even if that was settled in your mind after they passed you’re gaze jolted up to the blond haired vampire that seemed it okay to just walk around soaking wet in a towel around his waist. Either gawking or just in shock you stared at him. Rowark’s head turned to the side to see you, he smiled slightly.

“Like what you see?” At his comment you instantly shot your face back into your book. You heard him chuckle, but didn’t take down the book that you hid yourself with. The book was shoved down out of your face as you looked up to him. A smile still on his face.

“You’re awfully cute when you’re blushing.” At this point he was right in your face narrowing the space between the two of you.

‘I thought…on what Ulima said…she didn’t explain fully what his problem of caring for people dealt with. I’m starting to get the feeling though that he does things he wants to do without caring about the other person in the least. Or maybe he just goes around on his girls…or maybe…’ Your thoughts stopped as you felt his lips go to yours. Lost in thought you didn’t exactly pay attention to the fact he was ‘that’ close. In shock you didn’t kiss back, but he climbed onto the chair, tossing your book to the side, being on top of you and placed his hand behind your head forcing the kiss to deepen. Which in turn snapped you out of your dead thoughts and back to reality, but you still didn’t react. Or at least that’s what you thought as you felt yourself start to kiss back.

You felt his tongue trace your bottom lip wanting entrance, but before anything else yelling echoed from one of the halls ending the kiss. You glance up at the boy for a moment or so to see a look of possible disappointment as he climbed off of you and smiled while tightening his towel back up.

“Until next time…” He seemed to bow slightly and walked out of the library.

‘Wh-….what did I just do?! I barely even know him!’ You allowed it to leave your thoughts as you tried to make it seem like it had never happened as you grabbed your book and reopened it.

“I’m sorry Sir Damian I’m sorry!” You heard Syn say hinting towards what could of possibly happened just a few moments ago. Feeling overly curious you looked out into the entrance hall to see Damian trying to get down the stairs before hurtling over at the bottom in pain, obviously having got hit where the sun doesn’t shine.

You spotted a now clothed Rowark walking down the stairs and standing next to the hurtled over blue eyed boy.

“It’s your fault Damian, if you hadn’t of stalked her down the hall she wouldn’t of turned around to see a dark figure and therefore wouldn’t of kicked you and screamed.” Rowark sighed scratching the back of his head.

“But, I smelled breakfast…and it smelled really good…” Damian said innocently making you smirk. Syn then walked in from the dinning area with what seemed to be an ice pack and handed it to Damian before picking up a tray that was on the ground and rushing off up the stairs. You walked out and stood in front of the stairs deciding to ask even though you already had a good idea of how everything went, “So now…what exactly happened?”

“He trailed after Syn when she was going to bring Blaine his breakfast since he hasn’t been out and about for a while. Of course he scared her, and she kicked him.”

“…hard enough to…well to make him need an ice pack?” You gave Rowark a questioning look as he smiled at you.

“Apparently you’ve- well I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Why don’t you ask her to spar with you sometime? Haha…” He turned on his heel trailing up the stairs. Damian stood up still in pain managing to get over to the living room and shutting the door behind him.

‘I don’t even get a hello? Whatever…huh?’ You gaze moves over to the room that Rowark had slightly warned you to not enter. You felt somewhat drawn to it, ‘I did decide I’d probably end up going in there…I’m alone…and there’s nothing else to really do.’

You smiled and went over to the door grabbing hold of the door knob and opening it slightly. You stepped in and closed the door behind you. It was illuminated by pieces of glowing air, if that was possible, moving about near the ceiling. You looked around at the dark shelves seeing beakers and flasks filled with colored liquids and each labeled. Turning you saw the opposite wall also had shelves while there was a table next to the door and a large bowl on the other side of the room. You crossed over leaning over the cauldron like bowl to see it was empty. You went to move back when your heel slipped on a slippery material that was spilled on the floor resulting in you falling back and sliding partially just enough to knick the side of one of the shelves. Your eyes went wide seeing the glasses shake slightly, but nothing fall. Letting out a sigh you stood up, just to slip and grab hold of the shelf for support. It shook slightly once more and you moved away from it, but once again nothing fell.

“Wow…I must be really lucky tod-” You were stopped by the sound of something pouring onto the floor. You looked to the top shelf to see a rounded flask had tipped spilling onto the floor, “OH JEEZ!”

You looked about and grabbed an old rag rushing over to get up the spilled silvery liquid. For all you knew it could burn a whole through the floor and you didn’t want the blame for that. You quickly got it all up and tossed the rag to the side. You stood with a smile, but halted when the feeling of something drip on the top of your head.

‘Wait…I never turned the glass tube back up…’ You stood there unmoving for a second, “ITS GONNA BURN A HOLE THROUGH MY SKULL!”

Freaking out as you gripped at your hair left you not really seeing the silvery smoke that started to fill the room making everything black.

=0 Will it really eat a hole through your skull? Well, heck if I say so it does! Check out #11 to see what happens~!
