The Flame of a flower (Samurai Champloo)

"People told me 'paradise isn't real.' I believed him...so why did i go with them. Paradise isn't real but why did I follow that wolf...There is nothing at the end of the world. No matter how hard you try...you can't find a fairy tail.
So why did I follow the white wolf?" I felt the weight of the grey wolf's head. My eyes slowly shut "Maybe I already found paradise."

I ran along the train tracks. I was going somewhere butI didn't know where. I was drawen to this place. From the smell of it there was a city not far from where I was. I heard a train comeing but didn't mind. Soon I heard something like gun shots. I looked behind me as the train stopped. 'I wolf.' I gasped. I couldn't see him but could smell. I turned back around and kept running. I heard some shouts of victory and a car drove by. It was on the other side of th train tracks. I looked at it and saw a grey wolf and he saw me. He glared at me and I glared at him before looking back in front of me.
I heard a loud high pitched noise. A ship flew above me and I turned to my human form still running. "Damn nobles." I cursed. As soon as the ship got out of sight I went back to my wolf form. "I hate that noise."
I finally got to the town. I walked around it a bit. 'It's a dump.' I thought sourly. I walked a little more until I smelt blood, human blood. Still in my wolf form I ran following the smell. I jumped on a building and saw some humans dead. They had tried to reach for the white wolf.
I saw the grey wolf that was on the car. He ran off and the white wolf was following him 'Is that gray wof trying to protect the humans.' I followed the wolves makeing sure no one could see me. They fought and the white wolf was about to bite the gray wolf again until a kid came out and scared the white wolf away.
The human and the wolf started talking but I just walked away. I walked back to the tree that the white wolf was in. 'What...why did I follow them?' I asked my self. All the humans had left. I heard growling behind me. I turned around and saw the gray wolf. 'I don't want to fight.' I told him. 'Your in my proporty.' He said. 'Your propety? This is human land...and your just disgraceing your self by being near them.' I said.
The gray wolf growled at me and charged. He bit my front left leg and i bit his snout. We both jumped away. He then charged me and this time he cut my rib area. I yelped and charged after him. I bit his back and wouldn't let go. He kicked trying to get me off. I could tell the humans he traveled with where gathering watching. To them I looked like a wolf and the gray wolf looked like a human. The gray wolf turned his head and grabbed my scruff. He yanked me off and threw me to the ground. When pulling me off I pulled some of his skin off. I looked at all the human and smirked 'Until we meet again.' (Wolfe: Just to let you know when a sentance has ' this ' over them that means the character is ether thinking or is talking wolf talk)
I ran off slightly limping. He was a good challenge. But I ran off not because of the humans but because I could smell it. I didn't know what but I could smell it. I was walking in an alleyway when I saw the white wolf again. I heard some barking and a almost blue dog charged the white wolf. The blue dog jumped in the air and I heard a gun shot. The white wolf fell to the ground. My eyes widened and I ran scared that the dog would smell my sent.
I walked around the city getting tired from blood lose. The sun was now sinking in the sky. I walked until I found and abounded building. I walked in it and plopped down on a window ledge.
I thought about that smell. It was so hard to tell what it was. I sighed and started singing.

My eyes closed but I wasn't asleep so I keep singing.

I fell asleep not knowing that many people heard my voice.
-Someones POV- (Wolfie:Guess)
Hige and I where about to go to sleep when I heard something. "Hige do you hear that?" I asked. "Yeah...but what is it." Hige asked. "A voice...singing." I answered.
-Someone else's POV-
Kiba and I where about to go to sleep when Kiba heard something. "Hige do you hear that?" Kiba asked. My ears twitched and I heard it "Yeah...but what is it." I asked. "A voice...singing."
-Who's POV-
I was sitting on a window ledge thinking about that kid. My ears twitched as I heard singing. My eyes seemed to get heavier. I shook my head trying to stay awake but couldn't. I fell asleep on the window ledge.
-A girls POV-
My eyes where half open when I heard singing. My eyes opened fully and I raised my head, I couldn't move any of my body but my head because they had me locked up. "G-go get Dr.Cher." I heard one of the men say.
-Dogs POV-
I sat at my owners feet. I sighed. Evey now and then I would look out the window but I would see no wolves. 'Hmm' My ears raised and I ran to the window. 'A voice...who is that?' "Blue what is it?" I heard my master say. He walked up behind me and pet my head. "Lay down girl. You've had a full day."
-Dr.'s POV-
"Dr.Cher, Dr.Cher." I heard a man yell. "What is it?" I asked looking at him "It's Cheza she's reacted to something." The man said panting. I ran past him to Cheza. She had her eyes fully open and her head up looking at something. "When did this happen?" I asked. "A few minutes ago." A man answered. "What happened?" I whispered and put a hand on the glass.
-Normal POV- (Wolfie: We are now in Ep.2 cuz Ep. 1 was short.)
I opened my eyes to the mourning glow. I gave a short yawn before jumping off the window ledge and walking outside the house. I was still in my wolf form lipping from my fight with the gray wolf. I heard sirens and stuck my head out of an alleyway. I sighed as I heard people talking about wolves. 'Now they know what we look like I have no choice.' I turned into my human form and walked out of the alleyway.
I looked at a dog. It was small and hiding behind it's owners leg. I smelt two other wolves and turned around they where walking straight at me. They saw me so no point in running. Then I noticed that one of them was the white wolf. "Hey it's you." I said pointing at the white wolf. "Hmm?" He gave me a bored look. "You didn't catch my sent did you?" I sighed. "I watched your fight with the gray wolf and I watched you get shot."
The brown wolf blinked a few times before asking "So why didn't you help him?"
"Well 1 he didn't look to need it 2 It would have done nothing for me to get shot too 3.." I held up three finger "I'm a lone wolf. I don't like helping others." I said before turning around to leave "Hey can I at least get your name?" The brown one asked. I turned around just as my stomach growled. A blush came to my face "And some food." The brown one said. I nodded my head "I'll tell my name if both of you tell me yours." The brown wolf nodded his head "I'm Hige." The brown wolf said smiling. "Kiba." Was all the other wolf said. "Now time for your name." Hige said. I sighed and walked next to Kiba "Kasai." Was all I said.
Hige ran up to some foul smelling object and started smelling it. Then he continued to walk. He ran in a alleyway and Kiba and I followed. "How bout it we weren't noticed at all." Hige said throwing Kiba and I something. Kiba smelled his and took a small bite "This taste bad." He said. "It's better than a lot of things around here. If I find a wild deer any where I hunt it down for you." Hige said. I sighed and took a bite. Kiba was right. It did taste bad. I knew my body was going to be weak without food so I unwillingly ate it.
"It seems a few idiot where caught by the noblemen gourds." Hige said. "Where will they be taken?" Kiba asked. "Probably the same place where we were." Hige said. "Where were you two?" I asked. Hige just pointed to a huge building. "Perfect timing." Kiba said. "Hmm?" I looked at him. "We'll use this chance to break in." Kiba said. "What? We just escaped.We fooled them and.." Hige said. "I'm going back there." Kiba said. "Hey Kiba do you mind if I tag along?" I asked. "Hmm? I thought you where a lone wolf." Kiba said.
"I am but there is something I'm looking for. I think it may be in that building." I answered. Hige looked at me then Kiba "But why. Weren't we searching for paradise?" Hige asked. "It's because the sent is coming from those walls." Kiba said. I smiled "At least I know we're looking for the same thing." I said. Kiba looked at me "There is no point in me saying no is there?" Kiba asked me. I looked at him and smiled "Nope."
Kiba looked at Hige "You already know right? What lies within those walls? That is the guide to paradise." kiba said. "It's no use we can't get near Cheza." Hige said and leaned back. "Cheza..." I whispered. "Cheza?" Kiba asked. "She's the flower maiden that was born from the lunar flower." Hige said. 'So thats what I'm smelling. Lunar flower.' I thought looking at the building. "Or thats what they say anyway." Higa added. "We can't do anything even if we do get there. After all even I haven't been to the lab yet." Hige said. "Why did you try to break in?" Kiba asked. "I was just interested." Hige said with one eye open. "Don't you believe in paradise?" Kiba asked. "I'm not going." Hige said. "I see." Kiba said. I smiled "Hige, you can't stop us and you know it. Once a wolf sets it's heart to something there is no way to change it." My mother use to say that to me all the time. "See ya." Kiba said and started walking away. I followed him. "Hey, Kiba, Kasai!" Hige yelled. We just keep walking.
'What the hell?' I asked my self as I walked behind Kiba. 'One minute we where walking, then Kiba goes missing now this. Hmm' I looked to the side to see the gray wolf. I sighed and looked back in front of me. The pain on my side came back. My hands where on the back of my head to show the noblemen I wasn't reaching for a weapon. My thoughts went back to how the hell Kiba got me arrested too.
Kiba and I where now in the person cells. I was sitting next to Kiba legs criss cross and my back against the wall. I sighed as the cell door opened. I saw Hige walk in and smiled. Hige sat on the other side of Kiba. "Why did you come?" Kiba asked. "We're friends aren't we?" hige asked back. "That really means a lot coming from you." Kiba said. I sighed and closed my eyes then opened them again hearing a howl of pain. 'Hmm thats from a wolf I don't know.' I thought. The howl was cut short and I wondered why.
We where all getting ready to sleep...well the humans where already asleep. "Can you feel it?" Kiba asked. I opened my eyes and listened. "Feel what?" Hige asked. "It's an annoying feeling. I'm getting bad vibes about this." Kiba said. I turned around so I was facing Kiba. "About going after Ch..her?" I asked. Hige smelt the air "The flower hasn't withered away yet. It just smells like mold in here." he said. Kiba looked me in the eyes "It draws closer."
"Shall we get going?" Hige asked. "Yeah." Kiba said and we all stood up. Kiba tried to bend the bars but Hige tapped him on the shoulder and pulled the key out of his hair. "Nice going." I said and gave Hige a playful push. I started feeling weird, A feeling I haven't had in a long time. Fear. But what was I scared of. "Kiba..." Kiba looked at me. "I can feel it."
We ran though the hall and a man came. We jumped in a vent me in the middle. We crawled out of the vent and the fear grew. I looked at my hands and they where slightly shaking. 'Whats wrong with me?' We followed Hige. Now the fear was stronger than ever as I saw a man holding Cheza. My knees got weak 'NOT HIM.' I screamed in my head.
-Flashback-
"Kasai hide." Mother screamed at me. I ran and hid in a bush. This was many years ago when I was 2 months old. I watched nobles kill my family and a man walked behind the nobles. He wear purple clothes and I couldn't see his face that well because of a mask. He walked up to my mother the last one standing and stabbed her. Then he walked to the bush I was in. He looked at me as my body shook "Fufeel you purpose." He said before walking away.
-end flashback-
My knees became very weak and I put a hand one Kiba's shoulder so I wouldn't fall. His eyes where locked on my packs murderer. The man looked at me and smiled. "So you remember..."
(Wolfie: Sorry I wanted to have a cliff hanger...Sorry)
