Year-1994

I was sitting in the back seat of our car. I turned over to see my baby brother Nicholas sleeping calmly in his car seat securing him. I smiled and turned back to the rain covered back-seat window. Hours past and scenery went from city to farms to city again. We came to a stop. I noticed some boys skateboarding, which I enjoyed, and then another person was video taping it all. The one video taping it was a tall redhead. He turned the camera to me video taping me. The car kept on creeping forward. Then it immediately jerked forward going what I'm guessing to be around 40 miles per hour. My eyes followed the camera until we made a sharp turn. Leaving the camera.

We made a stop in front of our new house. It was sort-of big. I grabbed my book bag and skateboard from the car and walked in the deserted house. I walked up the creaky stairs to the last door, right next to the window with a seat in it. I opened it and walked in. It looked perfect. Wood floor, blue walls, and a big closet. My bed had just got in the room thanks to the movers. They unloaded the rest of the things. "Hey mom, can I go out to you know explore the city?" I asked my mom while she was feeding Nicholas. "As long as you're back by six because we have to get you in a school." I nodded and walked out the door.
