Rain isn't always clear

Chapter 8

" Chris…. Ronda where here" Page called nudging my shoulder. Looking to her only to hear my phone ring for the 5th time. Looking to my phone only to see a number I didn’t see before.

Flipping it open… " Hello" only to hear Matt’s voice on the other side.

" Where are you?" his voice was troubled.

" Where just going to the mail" I answered … looking to Page before jumping out of her car; Danielle looked at me oddly… "Who’s that?" she asked Page. " My brother proble… what’s going on?" she whispered watching me alittle worried.

" I don’t know…. Matt what’s wrong?" I asked looking up at the sky.

" Father’s calling a meeting and he needs you two to head up to full moon cliff in Three hours." Sighing " ok will be there don’t worry" walking in to the mail only to watch Danielle smile to her self. " Is that all?" I asked only to hear two words I didn’t think would come up. " I love you" he whispered on the other end making my heart do a flip. " Love you too" closing my phone, only to here them laughing.

" What’s so funny?" I asked only to see Page turn to me… " You have to love hem he changed you" her words hurt but she was right. " Page we have a meeting we need to go to in three hours… up at full moon cliff." Only to see a worried look move cross it. " The only time we go there is if there’s pack problems" she whispered low enough that I could hear.

Sighing we walked all over wasting one in a half-hours. " Danielle we have to drop you off early" only to see her face change. " Why cant you guys change me?" her words hit me.
" Ill think about it ok… just we need to go" patting her on the back. We hurried out of the mail back to the car.

Page jumped in the car with out a word… It was quite on the way back to Danielle’s house. Once we pulled up she jumped out with out saying another word.
Sighing I looked back at her house only to see my mother setting on the porch talking on her phone… Danielle’s mother was also out side both of them in jump suits.

We pulled away…

" You can’t truly mean what you said to her do you?" Page’s voice sounded once we lift the city.

" She will change her mind she always does" I pointed out only to hear her laugh alittle.

" She is fun though… but I don’t think we would make a good wolf" her words raided my mind.

" So what does Full Moon cliff look like?" I asked only to see her smile.

" Its surrounded by woods that reaches the river which is acutely 10 miles of wood lift and right. All the Wolves in the area meets there once a month for the full moon and some time more then that to welcome new people or children once they are of age."

" it could just be why they are calling it now… Father wants to show off his son’s mate. But theirs nothing to worry about some of the males might want to fight for you but my bother is a good fighter… that and I don’t think they want to go against the pack leaders son." a bigger smile on her face.

" But what about you? Did you have some one that fought for you?" Only to see sadness once I said it.

" Yea I did his name was Devin… we were together for years that is tell the pack found out he was attacking people to start up is own pack. The hole time we was together I didn’t know what he was off doing… you see he was four years older then me. We lived out in the woods near Full Moon cliff his cabin which wasn’t much but we stayed there for two months… but when he got power crazy he wasn’t the same." Sighing only to see a tear run down her cheek.

" I haven’t told my parents this but im four months…" she stopped.

I looked at her wide-eyed, " your kidding me" looking at her only to see her shack her head no.

" Why haven’t you told hem?" only to see more tears.

" Because im hopping before its born that Ill be out of the house and they wont no a thing" nodding I looked around only to see a sign with Full Moon cliffs in white paint.

We parked the car next to some others. " So where is everyone?" I asked only to see her smile… " We have to meet up with them there up there" she pointed out to a mountain. " Your kidding me" only to see her change in front of me she was brown furred with white pals; sighing I changed as well only to run after her.

Jumping over rocks and running across streams only to hear howls not fare. " Come one Page!" I cried only to look behind me to find her gone. Slowing down alittle looking every where for some sign of her. " Page" I called only to hear laughing up ahead. " That’s not funny!" Running after her only to look behind me to see more wolfs. Looking at them only to see some with gray hair others brown with black mixed.

" Who are you?" a guy’s voice sounded beside me. " Im Chris… have you seen Page?" only to see hem smile.
Running faster once I looked and noticed her running at lest a mile away.

Slowing down once I noticed at lest fifty wolfs all setting around. Walking up to Matt only to she hem talking to someone name Jimmy.

Laying there to hear Mr. Woods voice echo around the rocky area. " We have a new family member one that im proud enough to all her my daughter in law. Yes my son has finely picked some one… Lets all welcome Chris!" Looking up at everyone only to see them smiling at me.
Setting up only to hear whispers… Matt walked over liking my cheek doing the same back only to hear them stop.

The next thing came to be a shocker… " Lay down" Matt whispered in my ear. Doing so only to wish I didn’t. The feeling of hem mounting me made me look at round only to see all there eyes on me. He bit my neck holding me there… Trying to fight it only to feel a funny feeling once he pulled my neck scruff. He entered me soon after… I didn’t want this any of this… he let lose after ten minutes. Sounds of the crowed howling made me feel used.

Laying there to feel Matt’s eyes on me. " Chris everyone has to" he whispered probably noticing my ear where flat and I didn’t answer hem. I couldn’t believe anything he was telling me.

When Mr. Wood was talking to the group I turned away… deciding to walk back to Page’s car.

It was a long walk but it was something I needed. Changing back to my human self only I pulled her passenger side door open to slide in. Closing my eyes to feel my wolf self-telling me it was suppose to happen… and that it was the way it should be.

Sighing I only wished it was wrong.
