Vampire princesses and dark angels, can life get any stranger?
Chapter 1 : Vampire princesses and dark angels, can life get any stranger?
Kami walked home as usual, dreading actually getting there. He hated his life. His mother had died giving birth to him and Kami's father blamed him for it all. So now when he got home he was nearly always beaten or throwen out of the house. His father had become a raging alcoholic a few years back, but Kami still wasn't old enought to get out of the house.
Though on this evening of taking his time, Kami has run into a beautiful young girl. Her hair a slivery blond and piercing emrald green eyes. With the sun just going down, the sun set hit her just right making her ravishing. "Hi," she said as she walked by. Interstingly enough she was headed the same way he was, but stopped and turned back to him. "May I ask you a favor?" Kami didn't even think, he just nodded. She took his hand and looked him in the eye her eyes pleading. "I need help. Can you get me out of an arranged marrage?" Kami looked at her shocked.
"Arranged marrage?" he asked, looking at her confused. Just then he heard his father screaming while stomping down the coble stoned street. "Anything, as long as you get me away from here." the girl nodded and they were both gone in a burst of wind.

Kami awoke in a soft velvet bed. He looked around trying to remember what had happened. "I'm glad your awake," came a soft voice. Then it all came back to him. "I'm sorry this is all so sudden. My names Kokkoro, a vampire princess. I have been set to marry a fallen angel, and my parents just keep thinking it's the perfect match."
"So what do you want with a lowly human?" Kami asked backing the banister, as far from Kokkoro as he could. She smiled kindly keeping her distance as to not scare him.
"I believe that if my parents believe I've fallen for a mortal I'll be too much of a disgrace to take the throwen," Kokkoro explained. Kami looked at her again, confused. "Of course if they don't like my choice they may kill you or both ofus." Oh yeah that made Kami feel so much better.
"I really don't think I can help you," Kami said, rolling off the bed then headed for the door. Kokkoro was already there, her smile menecing.
"You already said you'de help me," she said, that smile making Kami's heart beat faster. "It's not like I'll eat you or anything. And I promise my parents wont either."
"When your done with me?" Kami asked, still scared out of his wits. "What will you do with me then? Eat me right, no more use for the human so he becomes food."
"Now you're making my kind sound like monsters," Kokkoro said, her smile becoming kind again. "No, I promise you, when I get done with you, I shall return you back home." Kami looked at her unsure. "How about if I don't you can kill me. That is if I hold you here after I'm through." Kami smiled at her then nodded. Kokkoro slowly approched Kami to show she was no harm.
"So all I have to do is act like I love you to get you out of your arranged marrage?" Kami asked, staying put to learn not to be afraid of her.
"It's not that easy," Kokkoro explained. "They need to think we are lovers and have been together for a while now."
This is going to be hell... Kami thought as the training began.
