Later on that night, Louis came over to see Blade. “Hey man, South Park marathon is on tonight. I know you want to watch it!”Blade nodded and stared into space. Louis waved his hand in front of his face and Blade looked at him. “You okay? You are usually all hyped up when we watch this stuff.” “I messed up, man.” Blade said. Louis sighed and looked over at him. “What did you do this time?” Blade told him what happened that night.

Louis looked at him in disbelief. “You called her dumb?” Louis said. “I DID NOT!” Louis looked at him. “Okay, maybe I implied it.” “Right, I can’t believe you called her dumb?!” “I didn’t mean too! It just kind of slipped out….” “You’re a moron. Why are you worked up about this girl anyway? I mean usually you would just shrug it off and move on to the next girl.” Blade looked at the television. “I don’t know. This girl is…..different. When I kissed her later, it was like nothing I every felt before. You have to help me, man!” Louis looked at him in shock. “ME?! How?” “You’re going out with her friend, right? Ask her to ask Maggie to give me another chance!” “*Sighs*I don’t know man…” He looks over at Blade. Blade has a sad and desperate look on his face. “Okay fine. Just stop looking at me like that!” “Thanks, Louis. You’re a good friend.” He said and Louis looks at the television. “Yeah, yeah, whatever…”

The next day, Louis talks to Sophie. “So that’s why she’s so down. He called her dumb?” Sophie said. “Yeah, and he’s really sorry. He wants to have another chance and wants you to help him with that.” Louis replied. Sophie sighed. “I’ll see what I can do.” “Thanks, Sophie. You are a saint.” Sophie smiled. “I know.” They kissed goodbye and went their separate ways.

Sophie and Maggie were at lunch. Maggie had been quiet all morning and Sophie was getting annoyed by it. To break the silence, she he decided to start helping out Blade. “So, how was your date last night?” Maggie told her what happened. “Wow. Sounds fun.” Sophie said. “It was till he called me dumb. I can’t believe that guy!” she replied in an angry voice. Sophie sat quiet for a second. “Well, I mean, I’m sure he didn’t mean it.” Maggie sighed. “I don’t know if he meant it or not but it still hurt.” “Mag, he wouldn’t want to hurt you. He probably thought it would make you laugh.” “Well, I didn’t.” “Why don’t you talk to him about this?””Cause he’s a jerk….” “MAGGIE! Come on! Do you like him?” Maggie nods. “Then he isn’t a jerk. At least go talk to him. Let him explain. If he is a jerk, than it will show but at least give him a chance.” Maggie sat in silence for a moment. “Alright, I’ll see him later.” “Okay, now get happy! You’re making me feel depressed!” Maggie smiled and let out a small laugh.

Blade was getting his books from his locker. He shut the door and saw Sophie. “I convinced her to talk to you. She hasn’t forgiven you yet but she’s giving you a chance.” Blade hugged her. “Thank you, Sophie. I owe you big time!” “Yeah, yeah, whatever. (He lets go of hug)Just don’t hurt her again. Cause if you do, I’ll personally hunt you down and kill you.” She said, looking him straight in the eye for the last part. Blade held up his hands. “I promise.” Sophie backed up. “Good, cause she’s been upset all day. Don’t screw it up!” she called as she walked down the hall. “I won’t!” he called back. Sophie walked up to Louis. “Hi.” “Hi. How’d it go?” “She’s going to talk to him.” “How did you pull that off?” “What can I say, I’m good.” Louis smiles and starts walking closer to her. “Yes you are.” He said and kissed her. When they pull away they see Maggie and Blade talking. “Hope they resolve it.” Sophie says, a worried look on her face. “Me too, Blade is really hung up on her. That’s not usual for Blade.” Sophie looks at Louis. “Really?” Louis nods. “Wow. He really does like her.” Louis looks at them “Yup. We should give them a chance to talk. Come on, Let’s go.” Louis grabs her hand and starts leading her down the hall and out the door.

Sophie and Louis were at a pizza place, eating and talking. Just then, Blade and Maggie walk in. They walk up to their table. “How’d it go?” she asked. “She is giving me a second chance.” Blade said with a smile. Maggie smiled too. Sophie said, “That’s great! I’m happy for you two! I wish you both luck!” she said smiling. They spent the night together as a double date and had a great time.
