He opened the door and announced, “I have brought the 3 Hidden Night Kages and their ANBU.”
He bowed then motioned for them to enter. As the young girls walked in they noticed a woman in her 20’s, who was sitting at a desk, was staring intently at them and also in the room stood 2 men and another woman whose eyes were really big and the guys had their jaws dropped. The woman at the desk stoop up and told the leaf ANBU to escort their Night ANBU to their house so she could talk to the 3 kages alone. He nodded and the 4 guys left.
Then woman turned to the 3 girls and said, “Welcome to Konoha. I am the Hokage, but please call me Tsunade!” she sat down and continued, “You do know why you’re here, correct?”
The 3 kages nodded.
“Good.” Tsunade said, “This makes my job a lot easier! But now that you are here I’m going to introduce you to 3 very important people and I will pair each of you up with one of them and they can tell you all about Konoha! And maybe you’ll even make friends with their teams!”
The girls looked at each other a bit confused but went along with what the Hokage was doing.
“But first I would like to know who each of you are.” Tsunade said as she stood up and began walking toward them. Meko looked over at Mokaru and Masteh who were looking back at her then she shrugged and said, “I am Avalon, Meko, the Mizukage.”
Tsunade stopped walking and looked Meko over then Masteh said, “I am Uzaka, Masteh, the Tochikage.”
Tsunade turned her gaze from Meko to Masteh and then to the 3rd who spoke, “And I am Kazuki, Mokaru, the Hikage.”
Tsunade nodded and motioned for the women that was leaning against the wall to come over.
“This is Kurena.” Tsunade began and Kurena nodded. “Mokaru, I would like you to be paired with her.”
Mokaru looked over at Kurena who smiled and Mokaru nodded. Then Tsunade called, “Kakashi! Come over here!”
A guy with silver hair and a mask on his face walked over from his spot and said, “Yo!”
Tsunade shook her head then said, “I’m having a hard time deciding but I would prefer if you, Meko, were paired up with him.”
Meko looked at what seemed a smiling Kakashi and began, “Umm-” until Tsunade interrupted.
“Good! Now Masteh you will be paired up with Iruka.”
The other man walked up and said, “Hello.”
Masteh looked at him but turned to Meko and whispered, “I thought we were coming here to protect this place, not be paired up with fr-”
Tsunade interrupted. “You are being paired up with them so you can get to know the village an it’s people! Now we are having a welcoming party for you 3 in a few hours. So Kakashi, Iruka, Kurena and Kakashi! I expect them there ON TIME!!”
Meko raised an eyebrow and asked, “Why did you say his name twice?”
Kakashi rubbed the back of his head and laughed. Tsunade just chook her head and sat back down at her desk.
Kurena walked up to Mokaru and asked her, “Are you ready to go?” Mokaru glanced at Masteh who was a bit on the confused side then glanced at Meko who ,staring at Kakashi suspiciously then she turned back to Kurena and replied, “Umm sure.”
Kurena walked out of the room with Mokaru following her.
“Umm well, we should probably get going too.” Kakashi said glancing at Meko. She nodded then followed him out the door. Masteh leaned against the wall as her wolf Takeshi sat down in front of her with a questioning look on his face.
“Oh crap,” she mumbled under her breath, “I can’t believe we forgot about our wolves.”
“Is something wrong?” Masteh wheeled around to see Iruka and Tsunade staring at her.
“Oh, no, I was just wondering if you had a stable that our wolves could stay in while we’re here?” She said in a relaxed voice. Tsunade smiled.
“Of course, in fact they can stay in my stables. Iruka, will you take her there?” Masteh turned her glance to the man standing next to Tsunade.
“Alright. Let’s get this over with.” Masteh said in a sarcastic tone.
Iruka stared at Masteh for a moment then escorted her out of the building with the wolves trailing just a few feet behind.

The air was silent with only the sound of birds penetrating the solemn void. Kurena glanced at Mokaru for a short moment then turned back around
*sighs*
*She hasn’t said a single word since we left Lord Hokage’s office.” she thought to herself.
“In a way she’s a lot like Hinata, so something must be wrong.”
“Here we are.”
Kurena said pointing to what looked like a meditation temple. Mokaru slightly jumped at the sudden break in the silence.
“Where exactly is here?” she asked.
Kurena gave a small smile then answered her question.
“This is my house, you seemed tired so I thought that you might like to relax a little before the party.”
Mokaru looked up at Kurena’s loving face then walked through the front door.
“Thank you, but I’m not really all that tired just a bit………worried I guess?”
Mokaru sat down on the floor.
“I didn’t really want to come here, at least not for a whole year I mean with out us there, our village is practically defenseless.”
“I understand that this must be hard for you and your friends, being the youngest kages in history and all.” Kurena said sitting down next to Mokaru.

“Where exactly are we going?!” Meko shouted to Kakashi.
*silence*
“Oh were you talking to me?” Kakashi asked then returned to reading his book.
Meko’s eyes turned black shaded by her hair.
“No, I was talking to that stump we just passed. Sheesh this guy is clueless.” Meko thought to herself as she lifted her head.
“What the! Where did he go??” she said realizing that Kakashi was no longer in front of her.
“You’re not very observed are you?” Meko smiled and made a few hand signs.
“Water assassin jutsu.”
At that instant a small puddle formed on the ground. Meko looked down at the puddle.
“He’s in that tree directly behind me sitting on the fifth branch on the right. Oh, and don’t kill him just sneak up on him ok?” The puddle jiggled a bit then seeped into the ground. Moments later it formed on the limb just above Kakashi’s head, then took the shape of Meko. The Meko clone smiled as she pulled out a kunai.
“Looks like I’m not the only one who lacks observation skills.”
Meko yelled up to Kakashi. He glanced up from his book only to have a kunai jammed into his line of vision. Kakashi’s eyes widened as he dropped his book.
“When could she have possibly made a clone. I was watching her the whole time and I never saw a puff of smoke.”
He turned and looked at the Meko clone that was hanging upside down from the branch above him.
“But what’s even more impressive is that clone of hers made it all the way up this tree, past me, and on to that branch without me ever hearing…” his thoughts were interrupted as a flood of water fell down all over him.
“Hey you dropped your book.” Meko said as she jumped from branch to branch up to where Kakashi was sitting.
“What are you reading anyway?” she opened the book and began to read.
Suddenly her mouth dropped. “Ugh, YOU PERVERT!”
Kakashi rubbed the back of his head. “It’s really just for research.”
Meko’s face tuned bright red.
“Research! You are suppose to be showing me around the village, but instead your reading porn! Not only that but then you have the nerve to call that research!”
Kakashi stood up. “I hardly consider that…”
Meko threw 2 kunais at him.
“What was that for?” He gasped early dodging Meko’s weapons.
“I don’t care what you consider it to be, you shouldn’t be reading that kind of trash while escorting a young girl.”

“Jeeze, these bags are heavy.” Kazuma mumbled as he, Taiki, and Yoshikazu walked into the lobby of the complex where they would be staying for the next year.
“Seriously, why did you bring so much stuff Taiki?” Yoshi growled.
“Oh come on guys, it’s not that bad. I mean just think of it as training.”
Right after Taiki’s words left his mouth, as if on que, all three of them collapsed and the 20 bags they were carrying toppled down on top of them. Kazuma pushed a large sack of shurikens off of him.
“Ugh, why are we the ones….. Erm, what’s this?”
He stood up, brushed himself off then made his way to a table that was sitting in the middle of the lobby.
“Hey guys, you won’t believe what I just found.” He shouted.
“Is it a box of pain killers, because my back is killing me.” Yoshi asked as he pulled himself out of the rubble.
“No, it’s a box of…”
“Cool! A deck of playing cards!” Taiki exclaimed in an overly excited voice.
“What the… how did you make it out of that pile without getting a scratch on you?”
“Oh that’s easy, Yoshi, I use a little thing called a substitution jutsu. You should really try it sometime.” Taiki smirked.
“Why you little….”
“Whoa hold up guys, why don’t we just settle this with a short game of poker?” Kazuma said picking up the deck that was sitting on the table.
“Alright then. If Taiki wins then he gets to brag all he wants. If Yoshi wins then he gets a couple of free shots at Taiki, and if I win then…. You two both have to drop the whole thing! Oh and no matter who wins the losers have to take a vow of silence for the rest of the day, okay?”
“Sure, I’d like to take a whack at Taiki, so I’m in.” Yoshi announced with a smirk.
“Ha! Like you could even hit me Yosh.”
“Whatever. Look I’ve already shuffled the deck. Let’s play!” Kazuma declared.
~*~ 20 minutes later ~*~
“Oh yea read’m and weep.” Taiki said with a smile.
“Whoa! A royal flush? Well I guess that’s means you wi….”
*poof*
“Hey you cheated! That’s not a queen of spades, it’s a queen of diamonds.” Yoshikazu snarled.
“Oops”
“Oops is right and since I have the next best hand that means I win the bet and both of you get to suffer in silence for the rest of the day…starting…now.” Kazuma chimed.
“Oh man we better head out the party starts in half an hour.”

“Ugh, what is with this guy? He hasn’t stopped asking me questions since we left the stables.”
“So do you think that you and your friends will like it here?”
*Masteh sighs*
“We are going to be away from our village for a whole year while our people sit around and hope no one attacks them. Of course we aren’t going to like it here, we don’t even have any friends.” Masteh snapped.
Iruka stared blankly at her for a moment, then gave a short smile and thought,
“Mph, I’ve seen those eyes before. They’re exactly like Naruto’s when he is determined to do something. The only difference is she doesn’t seem to have the same mischievous glint that he does.”
“Good he’s not paying attention time to give this guy the slip. Hehehe, wow I can’t even remember the last time I played a prank on someone. This should be fun.” Masteh smirked.
“Alright here we go.”
With that she took off running toward the forest.
“Hey wait a minute, where are you going?” Iruka shouted as he started off after her.
Masteh skidded to a stop, and put her hand to the ground.
“Mph, he’s only half a mile away. I better do this quick.”
She made a couple of hand signs then touched the ground just a few feet in front of her.
“Soil displacement jutsu, earth style.”
Suddenly the dirt where Masteh had placed her hands became weak.
“And now the count down. Three, two, one, action.”
At that moment Iruka jumped down from a near by tree. He began to walk forward.
“What was that all abo…” his feet fell on the spot where Masteh had used her jutsu.
Masteh smiled and a flash of mischief crossed her eyes. Iruka knew that look, and tried to jump into the air, but it was too late. The ground below him gave way. He fell about 50ft then hit the ground with a thud.
*laughing*
“Dude that was so awesome.” Masteh said between laughs.
She walked to the edge of the hole, and jumped in. Iruka had just stood up when Masteh landed in front of him.
“What the heck are you doing?” He asked.
She put her hands into the ground, then twisted her wrists. Iruka, from his feet to his waist, sunk into the ground. He struggled to get free.
“Now to answer your question,” Masteh said with a smile,” you have been bugging me all day so I decided to have some fun, and I really don’t want you around when the party starts.”
Iruka looked up at her. Masteh’s eyes had gone stone cold almost like she had no feeling except hate left in her body. She shook her head a few times, looked up at the sky, then glanced down at Iruka.
“Her eyes, they’re back to normal…I wonder what makes them change like that?”
“Don’t worry, in thirty minutes the earth that’s holding you will become dried and brittle enough for you to break loose.”
Her voice sounded serious. She jumped out of the pit and took off toward the party.
