I yawned, stretched, and felt my hand hit someone in the face.
"Oow." said a sleepy Sean as he rubbed his nose in the spot where I hit it.
"Oops." I gave him my best cheeky grin and pretended that I wasn't about to laugh.
"You woke up just in time!" he said standing up. "We're here." We both walked off the plane and waited by the luggage cart to collect our stuff. I was looking out the window that was right next to it. I was in awe. Scotland was beautiful. It was so green and lush, and bright. The sun was shinning, which according to Sean doesn't happen very often.
"Here we are!" he said as he handed me one of gigantic suitcases, as I took the other one.
"I'm nervous."
"That was...blatant."
"I know, and I'm sorry but-" he held up his hand and took mine.
"It's okay. Just look at it this way, you get to go on vacation, be paid for it, design something which is something you love for a friend, AND you got to bring your cat." I laughed a little, then it hit me.
"SPARX! WHERE IS HE?!" I started to run forward, not completely sure why but just figuring I could find him ifI did that.
"LEILA!" I stopped and turned around panicked. How could I forget my own cat?! What's he ever done to me?!
"Sparx...fine...house."
"Huh?"
"I made arrangements to have Sparx brought to the flat where you're going to be staying the next few months."
"Oh. Alright. Thank you." I composed myself and followed Sean out to a cab...well, what I figured what a cab was. It definitely was NOT yellow and cab-like. About a half hour passed by and the cab driver stopped in front of this beautiful building.
"Is this-"
"Yeah." Sean said smiling, he motioned to the cab driver to wait while we went inside. We walked through an iron gate, which had vines intertwined all over it, and up stone steps to the entrance of a beautiful looking building. It had a vintage look to it, but it was clear it was modernized. We went through the double glas door entrance, and head over to the elevator. Everything was so majestic and I was just kind of aimlessly following Sean, hoping I didn't run into anything. After we had gotten into the elevator and pressed '23', he looked at me. Like really looked at me. It was almost as if he was trying to figure something out.
"What?"
"Nothing, I just-...I don't know. Nevermind." Sean said shaking his head, trying to get the thoughts to empty out of his ears.
"Coooome on. I know I've only known you, like, a week and a half...but, it's obvious when you're deep in thought...only because you hardly ever are." He gave me a little push, but let his hand linger on my arm for a bit longer than a "Friendly push" would allow. I gasped, (inside my head of course) I loved any time Sean and I got to hug or accidentally touch hands. Or, when he'd show the slighest bit of interest in me.

(The link shows you what the inside of your apartment looks like, ignore the outside picture.)
After I had settled in with all of my bags, Sean said his goodbyes. He said he needed to get settled back at his apartment, which was about two streets over from my apartment. Sparx settled himself on a chair, and I drifted into a sleep filled with dreams about how this trip would be.
