As I walked in to the warmth of the familiar house I started getting light headed.
They baby knew we were safe he was ready to feed, and I dropped to the floor as yet again things around me disappeared.
When I opened my eyes next Pete was over me holding a glass of his "mixture."
"Are you ok, here drink this." He commanded with concern in his voice.
"Pete, there is know way I can drink that, the baby is thirsty for blood, you may have to go to a hospital."
Pete looked like he was going to throw up at the thought of me drinking real blood.
Andy and Pete went to go get the blood, their game plan: Andy would be the distracter, while Pete would use his speed to get in and out without being noticed.
When they came back I drank the blood hungrily.
"So" Pete started, I dreaded this part,"Why aren't you with your husband."
"Pete, I'm really sorry what I did to you." I could clearly see the D I put on his arm. He instantly put his other hand on top of it and squeezed.
"I know, now why aren't you with the monster's demon father."
Instantly hatred for Pete flowed through me with the insult of William. I had to swallow it down.
"I hardly saw anybody because they were all doing things for the baby. And I think this maid Laura tried to poison us. I know this because the baby told me. You know, he has a mind of his own. He manipulates my feelings makes me do things I wouldn't ever do, like leaving the safety of the Dandies, and--"
"Hurting me."
"Yeah, hurting you... Oh! It's William, he knows I left, he's furious. He's trying to reach me."
Where are you, what have you done with our son, why did you leave, if you comeback now we'll forget you even left. We know where your brother lives, you can't stay there.
"He's right pete, he knows where you live, we aren't safe here."
"we'll go to the cabin five minutes out of town. And don't say your sorry, because it's not your fault."
"Yes it--Lana I love you why would you do this to me? Comeback, I will do whatever you want done, obviously you weren't happy. Please, Mike said you vanished, disappeared before his very own eyes, if that's true our son is very strong and you'll need help.
"He keep's talking to me, he's begging me to come back."
"Well he's not getting you, or the monster. Go pack just the essentials, if he know's where we live he will be here so--" The door burst open.
William, Mike, and Brendon stood there.
"Love, why would you leave me? Now come, I will do whatever you want."
It was like my feet were acting for me, I couldn't control them, and the next thing I knew I was in William's arms.
