Chapter 5 : four ; when the rain soaked our bones ; ryan ross
a few more chapters to go, i know, this story's short but I have another story in mind.

Elliot was never the type to wear makeup or the latest fashion, she didn't even own band t shirts. She never went into those phases most sixteen year olds do, never swore or did drugs or drink or smoke. The girl didn't even own eyeliner or lipgloss, just good old chapstick. She loathed the emo craze most kids were in these days, she never had one of those hairstyles before - stating that emo is a bunch of shit. She was never into the whole scene they had these days, she was never into that screamo music or whiney stuff you hear on the radio today. She was one special girl; all original. Elliot didn't believe that she needed to fit into all those stereotypes. She has never had a boyfriend so she hadno experiance in that department. She has had only one job which didn't last long - they said that they were worried about her health because she kept injuring herself. So, what did the invfamous Ryan Ross see in her? She was a nobody that wasn't going in any direction as of yet, people often wondered about her health and how skinny she was, she was fighting the world by herself, she was cold and bitter and rude, ect. There were many flaws about this kid, but Ryan believed that was what made her so beautiful and unique to him. She was a survivor and thrived to make it in this world, she was strong willed and determined, and her cold exterior often thawed if you were nice and got to know her - which Ryan was attempting to do.
"I won't be around for long." Her monotone voice often sent chills uo Ryan's spine but he found out thats just one thing that he loved about her. He felt his face rid of color and he gulped, what did she mean about that? "What do you mean, its just like your moving." The boy chuckled, instantly hoping that she really wasn't moving away. "Actually, I am. See, I got into a high school in Chicago, my dad finds that the best answer rather then me getting a dorm there." And here was Ryan, face pale and clamming up yet Elliot didn't seem bothered by it. Her eyes stayed atatched to her book and her voice didn't seem to show any emotion whatsoever. "I'll be leaving in a few days. I thought I'd tell you in advance." Was this really what she wanted, to be away from the boy who could make her giggle or was it just an attempt to get away from him case she sensed that it would be trouble? Ulike the calm Elliot, Ryan was losing it here so when he stood up without a word, Elliot looked up and watched him leave. As he got home, Ryan's head was spinning. Ryan's stomach murched as the phone rang, "Hey Ry, how are ya doing?" Jon tried to make decent conversation, but it always lead to Elliot. Honestly, Jon had never heard Ryan get so broken up by a girl. Sure, Ryan had his deal of bad relationships that usually end up with a broken heart, but Ryan started to actually cry. And much to Jon's displeasure, he couldn't do a thing about it. "Maybe it's for the beset man, I mean, we start touring a month from now. What would Elliot do in that time, she doesn't look like the type to wait for us forever, ya know?"
For a few moments later, Elliot sat down under the willow tree and watched as the sun began to set. was she going to go through with his? She noted how hurt Ryan looked and how he left without saying a word. Even though you'd think that Elliot wouldn't be upset about this, Elliot began to cry. She cried for her pride and how it was going to be bruised because of meeting those four boys, she cried because she was moving away from her hometown, she cried for Ryan and how she was hurting him, she cried because her heart was missing Ryan already - she cried over the obsession she had foir Ryan. And that night, Elliot didn't get much sleep. She could be seen pacing in her room, nibbling on her lip and trying to find a good reason to forget about Ryan and move on with her life. She knew that she wouldn't be here once they came back from touring, did they expect her to wait for them forever?
