Chapter 2 : Vamps & Witches :~: Part 1
okay so this one came out kinda quick....don't expect that....it's just we lost power last night and i had nothing better to do then write by candle light....in fact you all should feel special cause i'm pretty sure my eyes are messed up now...=] Enjoy!!!
"Piper Hills"My father called up the stairs "Let's go. Come on! Grab your stuff!"
The date? Easy question again. Two months after my mom dieing. August eighth.
I came down the stairs. I knew what was happening. My father was shipping me off to some God damned bording school. He said it would be good for me to get away. Well news flash, I had gotten away, we'd been living at my aunt's house and now he wanted me even farther away. He wasn't even grieving. I knew he just wanted me gone so he could get on with his life and not have to bother with a sixteen year old girl.
"So" I said when we got in the car. "What's the name of this new school?"
"Faeire Falls." Was the only answer I recived. The rest of the car ride was silent. When we pulled up to the airport I turned to my father.
"uhh dad, where exactly is this school?" He didn't even look at me.
"Virginia, in a little town called Rural Retreat."
"Virginia! That's halfway across the country!"
"Yes well darling, I think it will be good for you. Oh, it's in the moutains, won't that be lovely." I stared at my father in disbelief. He hadn't told me any of this.
"NO" I shouted, "it will NOT be lovely. What about Derrick, huh, I can't just leave my boyfriend!"
"He was too old for you anyway and plus you'll meet new people." I felt like slapping him. We had never been close like my mom and I but this was outrageous.
"How could you even consider this?" People were looking at us strangely as we got out and he started pulling my bags from the trunk.
"Your moving me across the country, away from my friends, my boyfriend, what's left of my family and right after mom dies and all you have to say is won't that be lovely? What the hell is wrong with you?
What happened in this next moment I will never forget for as long as I live.
My father narrowed his eyes, grabbed my upper arm and swung me around so my ear was extreamly close to his mouth.
"Don' you ever," He emphasized the word. "Speak to me that way again. I am your father, you will give me the respect I deserve." He hissed in my ear. I turned toward him.
"I have no father, he died with my mom." I hissed back through clenched teeth. I wrenched my arm away from his grasp, grabbed my bags and stalked away from him to find my plane. All I wanted now was to be as far away from him as possible. Even if it meant leaving everyone I cared about. My father had never been that way to me. To my mother, once but she put him in his place and that was that. What I didn't know, as I sat in my seat and mourned my lossed again, my father was leaving, for good. That was the last time I ever saw him alive. The last words I ever spoke to him were,
"You will never be my father. I hate you."
