~~Random WWE Quote of the Day: “What did you just say he wants to do to my ass?”

Triple H (DX) making fun of Randy Orton (Rated RKO) 10/16/06

Author’s Note: Well, I have revised all the chapters so far of the story. The individual chapters haven’t really changed much, but I did add a little extra dialogue here and there to make the story flow better. I also changed the POV because for me personally, it’s easier for me to write in the new POV. I hope you don’t mind. Plus! A new addition has made it to the chapters! A WWE Quote of the Day! (At least ‘the random quote of the chapter’). They don’t really have anything to do with the individual chapter’s material, but I thought it’d just be a little fun to throw them in. There is now a quote in every one of the previous chapters, so if you want to take a look, and maybe have a little laugh, they’re there for your entertainment! Thanks again!

And the story continues:………………..

“So he didn’t do anything? Are you sure? Because I saw how mad he looked. You can tell me if-” “No Dave. Chavo didn’t do anything. He was pissed, but he had a right to be. I would have been mad too.” Camille heard Dave sigh, “Fine. But if you need anything, just call.” “Dave, I’m ok, really. I’ll talk to you later ok?” “Alright, bye.” She hung up her phone and sighed. She hadn’t told Dave that Chavo had hit her…twice. She didn’t want Dave to completely freak out. And besides, Chavo was the last person she wanted to think about right now. Her main focus was on Randy. She didn’t understand what he had meant. Camille thought back to her Evolution days, trying to pin point what exactly Randy was talking about. But she couldn’t think of really anything that she had done to make Randy still that mad. At first she guessed that it was because he just held grudges for a long time, but then she started to think that it was something else. It bugged the crap out of her from not knowing.

~~

A few weeks later….

“Tonight you’ll be in a two on one handicap match against Victoria and Natalya.” Camille sighed. Ever since she had screwed over Chavo in his match at Backlash, he had been putting her in matches each week in which the stipulations were generally not in her favor. She gave one more sigh and turned to head to the Women’s Locker Room to get ready, but Chavo grabbed her arm and pulled her back, “Hey, I think you’re forgetting something.” Camille gave him a quick peck on the cheek and turned once again to walk away, but Chavo held onto her arm. He turned her back around and kissed her on the lips. She pushed him away, giving him a look of disgust. “You know you want me.” He said with a smirk as she quickly left.

On the way to the locker room, Camille walked past John Morrison and The Miz who were talking to each other. When she walked by, she heard Morrison tell The Miz, “Look at that ass.” Camille stopped and faced them, glaring. “Excuse me?” she asked. The Miz stepped forward with an arrogant smirk, “John here was just commenting on how nice your ass looks and I was about to say how great you’d probably be in bed.” Damn it, what’s with the guys in this business? She really wasn’t in the mood to start anything with these idiots right now so she said, “Why don’t you, first, shut up, then, run along and go irritate someone else.” This time Morrison stepped forward with his usual cocky expression, his Tag Team belt draped over his shoulder, “Why don’t you make us.” Camille let out a frustrated sigh but before she could say anything else, a voice behind her spoke, “Can I help you guys with something?” The Miz looked at Camille, then at the man who had just spoke, “Uh, no. Actually, we were just about to leave. Talk to you later…uh…Camille? Yeah, Camille.” She rolled her eyes and The Miz and Morrison hurried off. She turned around and grinned up at Batista.

“Thanks, Dave.” She said, giving him a hug. He put an arm around her, hugging her back while saying, “Haven’t seen you in awhile. How’ve you been?” It was true. They hadn’t seen much of each other lately, mainly because Chavo had been keeping her close to him recently, much to her dismay. Camille looked at Dave, “eh, things could be better I guess…” She still hadn’t told him about Chavo slapping her at Backlash, nor had she mentioned running into Randy. She figured that Dave had enough things on his mind without her telling him her problems. “You know you don’t have to be a stranger. You can call me sometime.” Camille half-smiled at his comment, “I know. It’s just that stupid Chavo is acting like my frickin’ shadow. He won’t leave me alone.” Dave pulled her into another hug and kissed the top of her head, “It’ll get better. Don’t worry. Just let me know if he does, anything, that he shouldn’t be doing to you. Alright?” She looked up at him, her face looked sad, but she forced a smile and nodded, “Ok…I should get going though. Gotta get ready for my match. I’ll talk to you soon.” Camille kissed him on the cheek, whispered a ‘thanks’ and went to the locker room.

~~

Camille’s music began playing as she walked down the ramp towards the ring where Victoria and Natalya glared at her. Most of the crowd cheered when she came out, which made her smile. She had gathered some more fans form the past weeks; she guessed because they realized how much she hated having to be with ‘La Familia.’

Camille climbed into the ring, making sure she kept her eyes on both of her opponents. Normally she would have climbed on the top turnbuckle and raise her arms to the crowd, but tonight she didn’t, realizing it’d probably be smarter to not turn her back to Victoria or Natalya.

The bell rang and Natalya decided to start the match, so Victoria went and stood in their corner. As soon as the bell sounded, Camille and Natalya locked up. Camille managed to knee Natalya in the gut, making her double over. Camille then dropped an elbow on Natalya’s back, and she fell face first to the mat. Camille stomped on her a couple of times, but Natalya then grabbed one of Camille’s legs and pulled it forward, making Camille fall onto her back.

Natalya then got to her feet and grabbed both of Camille’s arms, pulling them upwards. As she did so, she placed one foot on Camille’s hair, making Camille scream in pain. The ref finally made Natalya let go, and she backed away as Camille held her head, wincing, and got back to her feet. Fortunately, she looked up just in time to see Natalya running at her. Quickly, Camille stepped aside and pushed Natalya into the corner ring turnbuckle.

Natalya turned backed towards Camille, wincing as she held her chest with one hand. Camille went to kick her in the stomach, but Natalya caught her leg with her other hand. Natalya let out one of her creepy little laughs, but Camille quickly reversed this by giving her an Enziguri (sp?), and Natalya fell to the mat, making Camille smirk. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Victoria getting into the ring. Camille turned around and threw a punch in Victoria’s direction, but she ducked, got behind Camille and quickly gave her The Widow’s Peak.

The ref got Victoria back into her corner, since she had come in without a tag, and Natalya then managed to cover Camille. The ref counted to three, rang the bell, and the match was over. Victoria got back into the ring, kicked Camille in the gut, and held Natalya’s arm up in victory.

~~

Once Camille got backstage, pissed that she had lost the match even if it was a handicap match, Chavo found her and grinned, “Hey, great match out there.” Camille knew that he was mocking her to get under her skin, “Yeah, I got my ass kicked. You happy now?” Chavo gave a fake look of hurt, “Why would that make me happy? I wouldn’t want to see you hurt. What kind of guy do you think I am?” Camille rolled her eyes, really getting tired of his shit. Chavo smirked and continued, “I think you and I should go to the bar tonight and we can see where a few drinks take us…” She just glared at him, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to argue with him. “Good, we’ll go right after the show ends.” Chavo said, giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

~~

Camille sat on her bar stool with a grim look on her face as she took a small sip every so often from her drink. She looked over and saw Chavo stumble onto the bar stool next to her as he gave her a drunken grin, “Isn’t this fun?” He asked, slurring his words a bit. Camille simply rolled her eyes and turned her attention away from him. A tall brunette made her way over to Chavo, giggling. She tugged on his arm and whined, “Come on baby, I wanna dance some more.” Camille rolled her eyes, once again, wanting to leave and go back to her hotel. She had considered leaving him here, but thought twice about it when she realized he’d probably get pissed and take it out on her by putting her in some ridiculous match next week.

Chavo had told the brunette that he’d dance with her later, and once she left, he turned his attention back to Camille. She felt his hand rest on her knee and he slowly moved it up to her thigh. Resisting the urge to smack him, she simply glared straight ahead, trying to pretend he wasn’t there. Unfortunately, this only encouraged him. He leaned forward and whispered a few very suggestive phrases into her ear. She could smell the overpowering stench of alcohol on his breath, and when he nibbled on her ear lobe, she couldn’t take it anymore. Camille slammed her hands down on the bar in front of her and then looked at him, a menacing look in her eye. “I think it’s time that we leave.” She said in a frustrated tone. He, however, grinned, “Can’t wait to get back to the hotel huh? Alright, if you’re really that impatient, I think I can assist you in fulfilling your needs.” This guy is unbelievable, but at least he agreed to at least leave.

With much effort, Camille helped Chavo to the rental car as she grabbed the keys out of his coat pocket and went to the driver’s side. Before she could even put the key into the ignition, Chavo was all over her. He planted kisses on her neck as he caressed her thigh. With a look of disgust, Camille pushed him away and started up the car. Luckily, Chavo didn’t try anything else for the rest of the car ride back to the hotel.

~~

Back at the hotel, Camille had to help Chavo to his room. Standing outside his door, she searched his coat pockets for his card key to his room all the while trying to support his body so he didn’t fall over in his drunken state. Once she found the card key, she swiped it through the electronic device on the door, and then pushed it open. She managed to sit him down on his bed, ignoring his suggestive remarks he kept making towards her. “There.” She said, panting slightly, “Good night.” Camille turned to leave, pissed at what she was forced to deal with, but Chavo grabbed her wrist. She shut her eyes, silently praying for patience, the turned and looked at him, “What?”

Chavo looked at her with a sort of hunger in his eyes. Camille caught glimpse of this and knew she had to get out of there before the situation got out of hand. “I wasn’t done with you yet.” He said, a hint of malevolence in his voice. Camille tried to pry his hand of her wrist, but he pulled her forward, making her fall onto him. Before she could react, however, Chavo rolled her over so he was now on top of her, while he pinned her arms to the bed with his hands.

She inhaled deeply, while looking up at him apprehensively, “Chavo…let me go…” She said in a barely audible whisper, trying to remain calm. He grinned fervently as he slowly shook his head, “Oh no, not until I’m through with you.” Instantly, he crashed his lips onto hers as she desperately tried to resist.

He placed both of her arms over her head and held them there with one hand as his other hand began searching her body. She tried to tell him to stop, but he continued to kiss her, making her words come out only as a muffle. His free hand found its way underneath the skirt that she was wearing, making him smirk. He continued to feel her as he moved his body slightly to get more comfortable and Camille found her chance to ram her knee upwards, intending on hitting him in the gut. Instead, her knee collided with a much more painful area for him and he groaned painfully as he pulled himself away from her a bit while he held himself.

Camille wiggled out from under him, wanting to get out of the room as quick as possible. She got off of the bed and hurriedly made her way towards the door. As she passed Chavo, however, he reached out and grabbed a handful of her hair, yanking her back towards him. Camille let out a small whimper. “You bitch!” he yelled, smacking her on the face. The blow caused her to fall back onto the bed, but as he started to advance towards her, she raised her fist and punched him square in the face.

The blood began to flow out as Chavo held his nose, cursing and wincing. Quickly, Camille leaped off the bed and this time made out the door.

Camille made it back to her room and locked the door behind her. Fortunately, Chavo didn’t know what room she was in, but it didn’t mean that he couldn’t find out. So, she took out her phone and dialed a number, trying to hold back her tears. “Come on….pick up…” she said to herself as she listened and waited. “Hello?” the man on the other end said, groggily. “Sorry if I woke you Dave, but I was wondering if I could come to your room…” Normally, he would have taken this comment as a suggestion for other ‘things,’ but he heard the slight panic in her voice, “Camille, what’s wrong?” “Can I come to your room?” she asked again, finding it hard to keep her voice steady. “Yeah, room 310. I can come get you if you tell me where you--” “No, I’ll be there in a sec.” Camille said and hung up.

Walking out into the hallway, Camille looked in both directions to find it deserted. Dave’s room was only down the hallway, much to her relief. Once there, she knocked, and within seconds, Dave answered. He stood only in a pair of sweatpants, looking at her, concerned. She managed to keep the tears from falling before, but as soon as he opened the door, she broke down.

Dave pulled her into a hug, bringing her into his room and shutting the door. He held her in his arms, stroking her hair and trying to calm her down as she cried into his chest. “Sshh. It’s ok, tell me what happened.”

He led her over and sat her down on the couch with him. He held her hands in his and waited until she calmed a bit to speak. Camille sniffed then explained to him what had happened. She also mentioned what really had happened between her and Chavo at Backlash after his match. At listening to her story, Dave got a flash of fury in his eyes in which Camille noticed but didn’t say anything. If he wanted to go down to Chavo’s room and kick his ass right now, she wouldn’t give a damn.

Dave took her into his massive arms again and held her there. “That bastard. This Friday, you and I will go and talk to Vickie, and we won’t leave until you get your contract back. How does that sound? But until then, I want you to stay away from him.” Camille pulled away from the hug and looked at him. Her eyes were red and puffy, but she managed to smile. “Thanks Dave. I really appreciate it. I know you have your own problems to deal with and--” “Really, I don’t mind. You don’t deserve that.” He gently wiped a tear away from her face. Camille smiled again and wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling her tear-stained face into his bare chest. It truly made her feel safe while being with him.

They stayed like this for a few moments before Dave pulled her back and looked at her. This time, he had a somewhat depressed look on his face. Camille looked at him questioningly. He noticed her puzzled look and bent his head down. “What is it?” she asked in a soft voice. She had calmed down quite a bit all thanks to the man sitting in front of her.

Dave took a deep breath and finally looked at her. “I’m sorry.” He said with much compassion in his voice. Camille looked at him, puzzled, “Why are you apologizing? You shouldn’t be apol--” “No Camille, I do need to apologize. For everything that’s happened. You got screwed over in Evolution and part of that’s my fault. I didn’t mean for things to happen the way they did, and for that, I’m sorry.” Camille stared at him, totally caught off guard at what he had just said. “Dave, it’s been years since that happened. I already told you that I forgave you. I’m not mad about that anymore.” Dave sighed, “I know, but I just feel bad that it put you out of work for so long…this whole thing with Chavo wouldn’t have happened if--” “Dave, stop. You’re beating yourself up over nothing. It’s not your fault.” He opened his mouth to protest, but she stopped him by, for the first time in three years, passionately kissing him. He was surprised at first but then began kissing her back.

After a few moments, Camille pulled away and said breathlessly, “Will you shut up now?” He matched her smile and they sat there and chatted for awhile, laughing every now and then. She could tell that he was trying to get her mind off of Chavo and she really appreciated his compassion.

After awhile, Camille yawned and rubbed her eyes. “Getting a little tired?” He asked her. “Yeah, a little. And I’m guessing you’re pretty tired too, considering I had woken you from your sleep earlier.” She giggled when he let out a long, deliberate yawn. “You don’t mind if I stay with you tonight, do you?” When he said that he didn’t mind, Camille got off the couch and went over to his open suitcase, knelt down, and started rummaging through it. “What are you doing woman?” He asked, curious as to what her answer was. She ignored his question and then pulled out one of Dave’s t-shirts. “I’m too tired to go and get my own pajamas. So…it looks like this will have to do for now.” She said, grinning innocently. Dave chuckled, “first my room, then my clothes. What else are you gonna take from me?” he said sarcastically.

Camille shook her head, laughing a bit. Standing back up, she turned her back to Dave and started undressing. Dave was completely taken aback and had to turn his head away from her direction and focus intently on the wall in front of him to resist the urge to look. “You know, there’s a bathroom in here.” He said, trying to get his words out smoothly. Camille simply laughed, “It’s not like you’ve never seen me naked before. I never heard you complain before.” The short time she had spent with him tonight had completely turned her mood around from what it had been. She was comfortable around Dave. She trusted him, which was more than she could say about anyone else.

She noticed Dave run a nervous hand through his hair as he cleared his throat and continued to look in every direction other than hers which made her laugh again.

“You can look now. I’m decent.” He turned and saw that she had changed into his shirt that, on her, went almost to her knees. He watched her gather up her own clothes that she had been wearing before and threw them onto a nearby chair. She then hopped onto his bed and climbed under the sheets, pulling them up to her chin, while grinning at him. She looked like a child eagerly waiting to be read a bedtime story. Dave got off the couch and grabbed an extra blanket and pillow and placed them on the couch. “What are you doing?” she asked as she watched his actions. “Going to bed.” “The bed is over here.” She said as she patted the space next to her. He hadn’t wanted to make her feel uncomfortable by sleeping in the same bed as her, but she didn’t seem to mind. He half-smiled at her, secretly happy that she had invited him.

Once he got into bed next to her, she looked at him. “It’s not like we’ve never shared a bed before.” She said slyly. “I know. It’s just I didn’t know if I could resist a temptation that’s lying so close, especially since that temptation is wearing nothing but a t-shirt.” She giggled at is remark and playfully slapped him on the chest, “well it looks like the animal is just going to have to learn how to behave himself.” He chuckled and pulled her close, holding her next to him. He kissed the top of her head, “Goodnight Camille.” “Goodnight Dave.”
