"Oh wow um I didn't know you two were......"I said slowly and then getting cut off by Travis.
"Have you two already met?"he asked.
"No!" Kevin said quickly in response.
"I was just thinking about how she looks like someone I kind of met before but I guess I was mistaken"he added.
"Yea...same here"I also added on.
"Oh..okay..cool I guess ha"Travis said in an awkward voice.
"Um Travis, Kevin, I'll be right back I just need to talk to Niah, you know, girl stuff ha"I said in a hurry and also worried.
I walked towards the kitchen where Niah and V were talking.
"Niah I need to talk to you." I said grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the closet in the hallway.
"It's Kevin"I said in concern.
"Yea what about him?"she asked.
"He's the guy that worked at the ice cream factory. He's the one who made me take so long to get my ice cream. He's the reason why I am now going to offically have trouble during myrelationship with Travis." I said.
"Ohh yea.....I knew Kevin looked familiar."she said.
"Ugh Niah."Isaid annoyed.
"Sorry sorry just try to forget you ever seen him and, this is just your first time meeting him"she said.
I looked at her thinking she was right. I should forget about it. I'm not just going to let some boy get in my way. Am I nuts!I laughed.
"What are you laughing about?" she asked.
"Nothing." I said.
After coming back into the living all of us just decided to chill, relax for a bit and just hang out. While hanging out I noticed Kevin was actually really funny but also, really nerdy.
"Oh my god!"Kevin said.
"What?"Cassie asked.
"Where's my Harry Potter book? Where is it!?!"he said searching around the living room.
"Dude, it's right there on the table that was in front of you."Travis said in an annoyed tone.
Everyone looked at him as if he were going crazy or even blind!
"Oh. Yeah I knew that I was just testing you guys. You know? To see....if you were all........um............master minds!!"he said sounding really stupid.
"Dude do you hear yourself right now?"V said.
"Yeah Kevin I mean really"I added.
He looked at all of us as if we just betrayed him or something. I looked at the time and it was around 6:30 pm. I was late for dinner.
"Well I don't know about you guys but I have to get going. Tiffany's going to flip if I'm not home within like 10 minutes."I said.
"Okay byee"Everyone said waving.
Travis walked up to me and had look of daze on his face.
"Bye babe. I'll call you later"he said hugging me and giving me a kiss goodbye.
I looked at Kevin. The face of jealousy appeared.
"Yea bye babe"I added.
I opened the door and was onway to a new journey with NLT.
What will happen next? Will Danielle and Kevin have a talk about how they lied to Travis? What will it be like hanging out with NLT almost all the time? When will I finally turn 14?
