- Casey's POV -

I was sitting on the couch watching TV with Derek and Erin.

Nothing good was on, so technically I was just watching Derek flip channels.

"You know, you could choose a channel." I told Derek.

"Yeah, and you could shut your mouth." Derek said.

"Why do you have to be so rude, I was just saying." I told him.

"Yeah, so was I, and it'd be super nice if that's what you did." Derek told me.

"Derek, you are such a jerk!" I shouted.

I got up off the couch and ran up the stairs.

I went into my room and slammed the door. I couldn't stand him!

I sat down roughly on my bed.

Just as I had sat down, the bed shifted slightly towards the wall.

I was confused.

"Oh no! Did I just break part of my wall!?" I asked myself.

I looked back toward my bed.

Now that I actually looked at it.. It was never that far from the wall before.

I got up off my bed and eyed it.

It was farther from the wall then usual.

I pushed the bed back with force. It only moved slightly each time, then went back. Almost as if something were blocking it..

"There's no air vent behind my bed.. There never was.." I told myself.

I got ontop of my bed and looked down in the crack.

My clothes were there. But that couldn't possibly be holding my bed.

I tore piles of my clothes off of the floor, and finally got to the main problem.

Were those.. Derek's textbooks?!

I picked up one of the textbooks.

Science and Technology 11 read the front cover. I opened the book to the front cover.

Derek Venturi. Number 16. it read in the top right corner.

Oh my God.. Derek had put these textbooks here on purpose when he found out that Erin would be staying here! It's his fault she was sleeping in his room!

Oh, he was so dead for this!

I ran out of my room, but then calmly walked down the stairs.

"Derek, can I speak with you for a second?" I asked him politely.

"Uh, why?" Derek asked me.

"There's just something I need to ask you." I told him.

"Alright, fine." Derek said, getting up from his chair annoyed.

"Alright. Erin, feel free to watch whatever you want until Derek gets back." I told Erin who was still laying on the couch.

She nodded, then I led Derek upstairs and into my room.

I shut the door behind me.

I gave him an furious look.

"Alright, what's this about?" Derek asked.

"You've got ten seconds to tell me why I shouldn't tell Erin about this!" I threatened, going back behind my bed and pulling out three more of his textbooks.

Derek's face went completely pale.

"Hey, uh, you found my textbooks!" Derek exclaimed with a nervous smile.

"No, more like you did a long time ago, and then put them here so that Erin would have to sleep in your room!" I shouted.

"Alright, alright, keep it down!" Derek demanded.

"Why should I?! Why shouldn't I tell Erin what you did!?" I demanded back.

"Look, Casey, I just.. Alright, when I saw Erin, I knew I really wanted to get to know her, and I couldn't do that if she was spending all her time with you. So I put the textbooks there so that she would have to sleep in my room, and I could get to know her better." Derek said.

I looked down, then back up at Derek.

"Did you not know that this would cost you money?" I asked.

"Of course I did. I thought of everything. I didn't care if it costed anything, I just wanted to be with her." Derek told me.

"Derek, are you telling me the truth?" I asked, sounding a bit concerned. That was not Derek like at all.

Derek nodded. "I'm telling you the truth."

I sighed. "Alright. I won't tell her. But please, Derek, if I'm not going to, you have to." I told him.

"What?! No!" Derek shouted.

"Derek, if you just explain to her what you just did to me, I'm sure she'll understand." I told him.

"Or she'll totally freak?!" I suggested.

"Derek, please." I asked.

Derek sighed. "Fine! Oh my God!"

Derek muttered the last part as he walked out of my room and down the stairs.

- Derek's POV -

"Hey, Erin, can I speak with you for a second?" I asked Erin when I walked back downstairs.

"Sure." Erin said.

She got up off the couch, and together we walked into my room, shutting the door behind us.

"Look, I've got something to say to you.." I started.

"Okay." Erin said.

"Alright, um, well, Casey found my textbooks. They were behind her bed." I told her.

She got a confused look on her face. "Why?"

"Because.. I put them there." I told her.

"You put them there? Why would you--" Erin started to say, before she stopped in mid-sentence.

Her eyes went wide, and her mouth dropped down, and she stood up.

"Are you freaking kidding me!?" She shouted.

"Erin, I--"

"No, no. Don't even bother! Derek, I kissed you, when I could have been sleeping in Casey's room, I slept in here, when I could have been sleeping in Casey's room, and I slept with you, when I could have been sleeping in Caseys room!" Erin yelled.

"I know, I'm sorry but I--" I was about to say, before Erin started up again.

"Sorry? What are you sorry for? You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. And you made sure that I would be sleeping in your room." Erin said.

I smiled at her.

"Look, it's just that when I saw you, I really wanted to get to know you, and I knew that I couldn't do that if you were spending all your time with Casey, so I just figured that if you were sleeping in my room, I'd get to know you alot better." I said.

"And you did. And I'm glad you did, because if you hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten to know one of my best friends. Plus, someone who means more to me than anyone else in the entire world." She told me.

I smiled at her, and inched closer. "I'm also your new boyfriend."

Erin and I kissed while we stood clear in the room.

Casey opened the door, we ignored her and she walked out.

We pulled away and looked at eachother.

For once in my life..

I felt like the tables were turned.
