I know the plane was starting to land because my ears were starting to hurt. So I put my iPod and sudoku book back in my bag.

As soon as it had landed I headed over to the luggage pick up. I finally found my luggage. I went outside to call a cab. I hailed a taxi and arrived at my desired destination. I gave the driver my money and glanced at my watch, it read 1:58 in the afternoon.

I decided I would lie on the grass and watch cloud shapes go by since I didn’t have a key to the house. I guess I drifted off to my own world because suddenly two faces appeared above mine.

“And who might you be, laying in the middle of dear Ryan’s grass?” One of the boys asked.

“Oh, uh…I’m Heather. I’m sorry. I thought this was George Ross’ house.” I said blushing and picking up my bags.

I saw the second boy cringe.

“Are you alright?” I asked surprised. Maybe he just had a twitching problem.

The first boy spoke again. “Ah no, Ryan just doesn’t like to be called by his first name. Ryan, Ry, or any other name’ll do. Oh right. Sorry. I’m Spencer, Ryan’s best friend. And I’m guessing you’re the exchanged student from Canada.”

“Yeah…” I said still blushing.

“Alright, so we’ll put your stuff in my room. Then we’ll find something to eat and then you can help us with our homework. Oh, I guess it’s our room now.” Ryan said.

“Hey Ry? Can we call Brendon over too? He probably won’t want to wait until tomorrow to meet Heather.” Spencer asked.

After Spencer, Ryan and I put my bags in his room we went downstairs. Spencer ran to the phone and Ryan showed me around his house.

Ryan and I walked into the kitchen only to find Spencer running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off and smoke coming out of the microwave, and to top it off someone was ringing the door bell repeatedly.

“Heather can go answer the door while I try to fix the problem here?” Ryan asked with a pleading look on his face.

I nodded and went to open the door. I answered it only to find another boy.

“Ooo a girl!” He shrieked. “Ryan why do you have a girl in your house?” He was staring at me, making me feel really uncomfortable.

“Since fifteen minutes ago.” He replied, appearing out of the kitchen with a smoldering tea towel.

“Yay! Brennyboo!” Spencer came running out of the kitchen screaming.

“Spenny shnookums!” The boy shrieked back.

“Uh…Let me introduce you to my other best friend. His name is Brendon. He’s acting gay right now. Don’t be scared he’s not always like this. Never mind that’s a lie. But he’s actually not gay. At least I hope not. Okay anyways.” Ryan said. “Brendon Elephant Urie!”

“Elephant?” Brendon asked with a strange look on his face.

“Yes. I couldn’t think of your middle name right at this moment. But anyways, this is Heather. She’s going to be staying here for the next couple of months.”

“Where is she sleeping?”

“She’s stealing my bed.”

“Well where are you sleeping?”

“I’m stealing your bed.”

“Where am I sleeping then?”

“You’re stealing Spencer’s bed.”

“Where’s Spencer sleeping then?”

“On the couch or floor till we have enough money to buy another bunk bed.”

“’We’ meaning?”

“The llama farm and I.” He replied sarcastically. “You, Spencer and I. Who did you think?”

“I’m capable of saving up money too. All I need is a job.” I spoke up.

“You mean you actually love us?” Brendon asked with big brown eyes.

“I may have only known you for about twenty minutes, but you guys seem like really nice people. I would be happy to chip in for the funds of another bunk bed so we could all reside in Ryan’s room.”

There was a small pause accompanied by a couple of opened mouths.

“Do you always talk that sophisticated?” Ryan asked with a raise eyebrow.

“Do I look like the sophisticated type to you?” I responded with my own question.

“Uhh…no?”

“Then there’s your answer.” I paused with a look of horror on my face. “Wait, you mean you’re not high end fashion sophisticatedness?” I asked with an over exaggerated gasp and pretended to faint hoping someone would catch me. Yeah, definitely fell. I guess none of them felt like catching me.

“No. Sorry.” Spencer said, taking a large bit out of a granola bar.
