Chapter Two:
Rebeeca woke up feeling confused. Not completly understanding why she was in the backyard cabana. She shoke it off and got ready. As Rebeeca showered, dressed, and, did her hair and make up, she slowly remembered the events of last night. Party, leaving, drinking and Lucas. Ah, Lucas. With his dreamy blue eyes, perfectly short blonde hair... Rebeeca snapped back to reality. Enough with him! Let's go find Carmendy. Rebeeca told herself as she walked out of the backyard and into the front, to the garage, threw the gates, along the path and to the front door. Walked in, grabbed her keys and left again.
That afternoon, Rebeeca and Carmendy sat by the beach with the big sunglasses, designer bathing suits and sun tan oil. "So, where'd you go last night after you totally ditched my party?" Carmendy asked not sounding too thrilled. "I-- I went home." Rebeeca lied, pulling her carmel toned hair into a high poinytail. "Beeca, I'm your best friend you can't exactually lie to me. Gee, just tell me where you went." Carmendy said, pulling her sunglasses down as her beach blonde hair flipped when she faced Rebeeca. "I hung out with Lucas." Rebeeca said, as if she didn't care. "Lucas? That really hot poor dude dating Erin?" Carmendy asked. "No, he used to be poor." Rebeeca reminded. "Right 'cause Erin's crazy naughbors, like, dragged him off the streets." Carmendy sighed as she grabbed the sun tan oil out of her duffle bag. "Yeah." Rebeeca replied sounding confused. "Oh, my god! You totally hooked up with him!" Carmendy spat, pratically freaking out. "Um, no!" Rebeeca replied feeling more confused. "Fine, but, when you're back to normal Rebeeca, give me a call." Carmendy said, standing up and walking away. "Carmendy!" Rebeeca yelled standing up and running onto the side walk, but, Carmendy was already gone. Rebeeca rolled her eyes and let out a sigh.
"Someone's in a good mood." A fimiliar voice said from behind her. Rebeeca, turned around quickly to see Lucas standing there, smiling at her. "Hey." She said, letting out a small smirk. "Girl drama?" He asked. "You have no idea!" Rebeeca laughed. There was a quick moment of silence. "So, um, where's Erin?" Rebeeca asked. "I don't know. But, um, right now, Erin isn't really the thing I wanna' talk about." He said, looking a bit sad. "Why? What happened?" Rebeeca asked, her heart speeding up. "She broke up with me. Said-- never mind." Lucas said as if it was in some way related to Rebeeca. "Oh, I'm sorry." Rebeeca said, looking down at her feet. "Don't be. It's nothing. But, um, I don't know, maybe you would, wanna hang out sometime?" Lucas asked. Rebeeca's eyes jolted up. "Like, on a date?" She asked feeling anxiouse. "No, um, just as friends. You could come over tonight. Watch a movie, come for dinner." Lucas corrected. "Oh, yeah totally." Rebeeca agreed, feeling embarassed. "Great. See you at six." Lucas said walking away. Rebeeca nodded feeling light headed and pink faced.
That night, Rebeeca drove up into Lucas's drive way. Not knowing at that moment, Erin was outside, on her patio. Rebeeca didn't notice Erin. But, Erin noticed Rebeeca. Her eyes watched as she rung the doorbell and walked into Lucas's house. Face flushed and full of envy, Erin wipped out her cell phone ad texted everyone... except Rebeeca.
Spotted: Rebeeca going over to Lucas's house for a family dinner. One day after his break up!! At least, now we're all a little more clear on why a happy couple is now a thing of the past.

Erin sent annoyomously, so that no one would know it was her who was texting. Meanwhile,Rebeeca and Lucas ate dinner with the rest of his family. "So, Rebeeca, how long have you and Lucas been friends?" His mother asked. "Um, a couple months." Rebeeca said, looking up at Lucas who was trying to focus on nothing other than his food. "I see. Do you do any school activities?" His father asked. Rebeeca felt as though she was at a job interview. "Yeah..." Rebeeca contiued to introduce herself to Lucas's family, every once in a while, she'd look up at Lucas, only to see him glaring down. Even though they weren't making any eye contact, it was like, she could feel him looking at her.
Later that evening, Rebeeca and Lucas were watching an old movie in the living room, his parents had gone out for an evening walk and, now, Lucas and Rebeeca we're alone.
In this house.
Together.
They had been laughing and talking about the movie, as Erin stared not bothering to even blink through the mirror, her phone out and ready to snap a picture of anything! Flirting, arm touching even just a friendly hug. The world had to know. Well at least believe this was the reason they broke up.
Rebeeca felt nervouse all over, shivers running down her spin everytime Lucas's foot hit her's. "You know, I used to think that you were just a populare girl, but, now I really see that you're more than that, Rebeeca. You're not like those other girls. You're..." But, before he could finish his sentence, his urge over threw him and he pulled Rebeeca forward and kissed her. SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! Went Erin's camera phone.
You want proof? I've got it. And, this was no friendly get together with the family.

Erin typed as she attached the photo and sent it out.
Rebeeca pulled away feeling scared and confused. "I should, um, really go." Rebeeca said standing up. "I'm sorry, Rebeeca." Lucas said softly. Rebeeca walked towards the front door, Lucas followed her. "I'm sorry." He said again. Rebeeca looked into his eyes. "I should go-- see ya." She said, letting herself out.
