When the sun started to set and the streetlamps went on, the five kids huddled in the van and started to drive home. Once again, Elliot's eyes were focused on her book which looked like it was going to eat her at any moment. In Ryan seeing this, his long fingers quickly snatched it away from the girl and sat on it ever so gracefully. "Ross, hand it over or we're all going to get hurt." She pronounced eat word slowly and low. trying to get her point across. "Come on Ryan, she doesn't look like she's joking." Jon spoke up from the back, fear sprawled out on his face, afraid of what a women could do. But being the oblivious Ryan ross, he just smirked and ignored Elliot's whimpy threat. "Ross, you're in for it when we get back." She grunted with a frazzled expression and started looking out the window. Realizing the obvious tension in the van, Brendon turned on some music which resulted in everyone singing along with the exceptions of Elliot whom had a scowl firmly on her face. Sure, Elliot was acting like a brat, but she didn't seem to notice nor care - hell, if they didn't like it, they could go sufficate in a whole. And thats what most people didn't like about her, she was so much into this not caring of what others think that it made her a bitch and could make her concieted and cocky. Though most weren't so keen on this behavior, Ryan loved every moment of it.
Finally reaching their destination, Elliot numly and grumily got out of the van, narrowing her eyes afterwords. "Ross." She stifly said, her arms crossed over her chest and her structer stiff. Though, this didn't seem like a game to dear Elliot, Ryan found it pretty funny, "Elliot dear, you should try lightning up a bit, it could work wonders." Ryan sighed, slowly handing her the book. With a snort, the girl snatched it out of his hand and walked away. Once again sighing, Ryan stared after her shadow that was walking down the street, dreamy fanasies dancing through his hand at the moment. Ryan was never the type to use his mind and think when it came to girls, thats probably why he was single for far too long. Ryan somehow thought that he had everything in the palm of his hand, that he could control anything if he wanted it, that all femals worshiped him just because he was a guitarist in a band. See, this got to his head quiet often making his confidence run on high which turns off girls - well most girls like Elliot anyway. And yet, Ryan found he was more interested in the shy and distant type - he was just waiting to break her in and make her his. He believed that it was only in time that he could get her alone and work his magic.
Now alone and in her room, Elliot's mind wandered back to her adventure today, how Ryan threw her in the water and how he stole her book - quite fantastic really. Letting out a long and dreamy sigh, she nibbled on her lip and returned to her book. Why was Elliot falling for Ryan, what did she see in him? She was awefully ashamed of her feeling for that twenty one year old, finding it wrong and silly - she was just sixteen. And what would her parents think of her if they knew? They would surely be disappointed, she was a mior and a relationship with the boy would mean trouble - what Elliot stayed away from. Ryan was cocky and ignorent, not taking the time to enjoy things around him. His cockiness drove her nuts and made her want to just choke him, yet she couldn't stay mad at him for long. Something made her knees go week - maybe it was the fact that she didn't meet guys who socialized with her and only her or maybe it was his heart breaking puppy eyes or his mouthwatering smile. But we all know, Elliot couldn't stop thinking about him.
"What do you see in her, Ry?" The voice of the over excited Brendon Urie spoke from the other line. "I'm not sure, she's just so - ugh. I can't describe how she makes me feel." Ryan let out a frusterated groan, throwing his notebook across the room. With a sigh, Brendon cleared his throat, trying to make this less awkward. "If you - uh - do anything with her, it'll be illegal, ya know." After finishing, Brendon coughed and startled fiddling with something on his shirt. Ryan immediantly frowned, knowing that Brendon was right - even though he felt like this, Ryan let out a humouress laugh. "Brendon, why would I want to do anything to her? She's my buddy." With that, the two hung up leaving a bummed out Ryan and a worried Brendon. Brendon knew that Ryan could get out of hand with his feelings and could lose control but he knew that Ryan had no efforts in that at the moment, yet Brendon worried of that someday.
