[Sakura Kimiko Note~Hey everyone. I'm taking my sister's story and making it my version, because she asked me too. Since she didn't like how she did it.. And yeah. I'm making Matt a vampire still, but he isn't going to have his last personality. I'm changing Hottie's name to Haley and changing her a bit as well. Also by making i my version, I'm making Bailey's life more like a horror movie. Anyway, I hope you like it. Enjoy~]

"Bailey, honey. Get out of bed." Mom called from down stairs. I crawled out a bed, well... more like zombied out. I was still half asleep. But the only thing that kept me awake was the smell of bacon.

I got dressed in jeans and a baggy blue T-shirt. Pulled my long blond hair into a high ponytail. I didn't dare put on make up. Not after what happened last time. I shuttered at the thought of wearing makeup the color of... pink.

"Ew! Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew!Anythingbut

pink makeup!" I yelled. My dog, Winston, looked up at me lazily from his curled up body.

I giggled at his crossedexpressionand I headed down stairs. I rushed down the stairs and to Mom. I stared at her like a little puppy begging to be let in.

"Bay, go sit down at the table if you're going to keep looking at me like that." Mom looked at me from theconnerof her eye.

I nodded and sat down, after I got a glass of water.

"Hey Mom, where's Paul?"

"Honey, call him dad."

"No, he's my step-father. Not my true father..."

"I know how you feel about him suddenly coming into the family, but he is such a--"

"Nice guy." I finished Mom's sentence. It's not that I hated Paul. It's just that there is something about him that makes me suspicious. I'm not sure what.. That's what sets me off."Mom.. I know.. But I'm going to keep calling him Paul, until I really get to know him." That was actually true. But Inever

said when I was going to get to know him.

"Alright, alright. Now come get your bacon and then head off to school."

"K and thanks for making breakfast. And you never answered my question: Where's Paul?"

"He went tot he store to get coffee stuff."

"Okay." I got out of my seat slowly and took as many pieces as I wanted, ate them up, hugged Mom good-bye, and headed out the door.

And thank god I had a ride. Haley picked me up in her maroon colorconvertible. But in the front seat of her car was someone.

"Hey, Bailey!" Haley waved from her window. "Hop in!"

"Thanks again Haley."

"Aw, no problem."

I opened the left car door and got in. There was a boy in the front seat. His hair was a jet black, the same as Haley's hair. Then he looked back at me with a shockingly pretty dark blue eyes. His face wasangular, his cheek bones not to high, his nose not to big nor too small, and his lips one shade darker than his pale skin. He smiled. "I'm Matt. Haley's cousin."

"I'm Bailey, Haley's best friend." I smiled back. "A pleasure to meet you."

"No, the pleasure is mine."

I chuckled. "Hey, Hal. I thought you said you had no family."

"I'll explain later."

I shrugged and looked at the window. It snowed outside. One of the few days that it did. It mostly rained and it was miserable, but today was nicer. Notwarmerbut nicer to me. I've always loved the cold. Summer never appealed to me. I didn't like to get tan's because I would only burn to a crisp and still get barely a shade darker. And by the time I even got past the sunburn, it would have already been like two weeks.

We arrived at the school and Haley gave Matt to me. Said she had togosomewhere and wastoobusy to help Matt. I sighed at what Haley just did and showed Matt around.

As soon as I finished we had already had fan girl following us. Matt didn't seem to care. He just looked around and memorized the place. Either that or he was day dreaming. I showed him to fist period and introduce him to his teacher. Then I headed for the door.

"Hey, Bailey, thanks for showing me around." He grinned.

"Your welcome, Matt." Then I headed out the door.

The two classes before lunch were with Matt. One of them I sat next to him and that was science. And he already a ton of girls drooling over him.

Maybe it's the eyes and the look. I know most girl drool over the body and eyes. Some the face, but he has the preps over him, so it's got to be body, I thought to myself.

Lunch hit and Matt had made some friends that he went and sat with. Haley and I sat outside to talk. All of the preps sat inside, so we wouldn't worry about them overhearing our conversation.

"Explain." I crossed my arms and looked at Haley.

"Okay, okay. I've known Matt since forever. Yes, he is my cousin and I'm sorry I didn't tell you about him. But a year ago he disappeared, right before I met you, and I heared my mom talking to my dad about him saying he was dead. But now, just a few days ago, my mom and dad were on that hike and found him wondering around the mountians. He still won't tell us why he left and why he was gone for so long."

"Oh wow. But I'm glad he is okay now. And I'm sorry he disappeared."

"I'm glad Matt is okay too. I was so scared that he really was dead. But he's not, so I'm happy."

"What about me?"

I gasped and turned around to find Matt with a plain face but curious eyes.

"Nothing." I said and smiled.

"Liar."

"She's a truther!" Haley pointed to Matt

"You could know, since your so good at language. You're hiding something, Haley. And you know I'll find out."

Haley rolled her eyes. "Good luck buddy."

I laughed nervesly and looked back and forth between Haley and Matt glaring at each other. Then saved by the bell, I walked away slowly to my next class.

The day ended with P.E. which always made it go fast and I walked home this time. Haley had to stay in class for a test and Matt was no where to be found. Maybe took the bus.

The walk home was long but peaceful. The snow stopped falling and there were no cars coming in and out of my neighborhood. I got to the house, opened it and dropped my bag in surprise. There was blodd everywhere in the house. And there was a message written in blood that read: Bailey Madison. I'm coming to get you next.
