(Still) Hoshi's POV:
We sat in silence.
For what felt like forever. We just sat there looking at each other. I then did something I never thought I'd do. I burried my face into his chest and began crying. He was still and stiff at first but eventually wrapped his arms around me.
When my tears finally stopped his shirt had a pretty large wet spot. The fabric stuck to his skin and I let out a weak laugh.
"I'm sorry for waking you." I mumbled as I wiped the remaining wetness from my face.

Back to me!
Shino smiled and touched her cheek jently.
"It's alright." He said quietly.
Hoshi blinked at him and he picked her up, carrying her inside.
"I can walk, you know." Hoshi stated.
"Yes, I do know." Shino laughed.
Hoshi smiled again as he set her on the floor by his small table in the far end of his room. He then left for a minute and came back with some breakfast. He set it down quietly and took a seat from across from her.
"I made sure you only got small portions, since you don't eat a lot." Sino explained when she eyed the portions you would normally give a 9-year-old.
"Thanks." She mumbled as they both began eating in silence.
After they finished Shino stood up and went over to his closet. Hoshi took the hint and gathered her things and went into the bathroom down the hall. She dressed and washed her face, trying to calm herself down.
She emerged from the bathroom and came face to face with Hinata and Kiba. She jumped when Kiba practically tackled her to the ground.
"H-hi Kiba, Hey Hinata!" she laughed as she pushed Kiba off of her.
"Come on, Shino's downstairs waiting!" Kiba shouted as he began tackling the stairs two at a time.
Hinata and Hoshi laughed as Kiba practically fell down the last four steps. They then smiled at Shino brightly and began walking out of the house.
"So, how was your first night with Shino, Hoshi-chan?" Hinata asked as they began jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
"Alright I guess. Sorta odd and I will admit the roof isn't as comfortable as it looks." She laughed.
"Shino, you made her sleep on the roof!? I'm flabbergasted!" Kiba gasped.
(Me: Haha that's my word of the day! XD Flabbergasted...heh...)
"I didn't make her sleep on the roof! She fell asleep up there after...wait why am I telling you this!?" Shino snapped.
"Uh...cause you love me?" Kiba said with a toothy grin.
Shino rolled his eyes.
They arrived at their training spot about five minutes later and began training quietly. After about three hours they finally stopped and headed over to a large log. Kiba fell on the ground, because of his lack of aim skills, but just lay there panting.
"Does puppy need some water?" Hoshi asked.
"Yes." Kiba mumbled.
"I was talking to the actual dog, but you can have some too." She laughed as she handed him a water bottle.
They sat there and ate their lunches chatting and talking about how the living situations were working.
"I swear, everytime Neji even glanced at Kiba he would get the jitters and have to excuse himself from the room!" Hinata giggled.
"It's cause Shi put that horrible idea into my head!" Kiba whined
"It was too funny to resist. And since when am I Shi?" Hoshi giggled.
"Well...I had to give you a nickname and 'Ho' didn't really seem like something you would accept." Kiba muttered.
"Good point." Hoshi said seriously then began laughing with everybody else.
After a few more minutes of talking and laughing Hoshi stretched and stood up.
"I'm gonna go wander the forest, do you wanna come Hina-chan?" Hoshi yawned.
"No thanks Hoshi-chan, I'm still quite tired." Hinata mumbled.
"Yeah I'm beat!" Kiba shouted.
"I'll come?" Shino muttered.
"Nooo, Shinooo! I'm so lonely! Don't leave meee!" Kiba wailed as he grasped the now standing Shino's legs, making him fall to the ground.
"Alright then, I'll see you guys in a bit!" Hoshi called as she ran away, waving and smiling.

Hoshi's POV
I ran for probably a mile and slowed to a walk. I marvled at my surroundings. The birds chirping and delicate bugs fluttering through the air. I smiled brightly and let out a sigh as I spred my arms and began spinning.
I loved to be outside on walks.
I stopped when I heard the sound ofwater running. I opened my closed eyes and peered between two trees. There was a small lake as it looked with a soft waterfall flowing into it, shimmering as the light mixed with it.
I warily made my way, checking my surroundings before sitting on a large rock that dipped into the water. I took of my shoes and slipped my bare feet into the cool liquid. I let out another soft sigh as I closed my eyes, listening for anybody to approach.
There was a tiny chirp of a bug that flew just past my face. I smiled.
"Shino, how'd you manage to get away from Kiba?" I questionedas I turned to face him.
The boy stepped out from his hiding spot and stoodbehindme.
"It wasn't easy," he muttered.

Hoshi turned back towards the water. She smirked as she ran her fingers lightly through it.
"If I didn't know any better I would've said you were a huge perv." Hoshi giggled.
"W-wha!?" Shino squeaked.
She kicked water up, splashing him slightly. "You have potential young grasshopper." Hoshi said in a funny accent.
Shino smiled slightly behind his collar and pushed her in. She let out a high pitched squeal of shock and enjoyment as her body it the water. When she resurfaced she opened her eyes and looked for Shino, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Shino?" she whispered.
"Boo." A low voice said from behind her as he dunked her under water.
She turned to face a shirtless and glassesless Shino.
(Me: I don't think 'glassesless' is even a word...but it is now!)
He was smiling as he tried to dunk her again. Hoshi dodged him and pushed his face under water. They continued to do this for a good five, ten minutes. When they finished they were both extremely pale and a little wrinkley.
"My fingers are look like little old people!" Hoshi laughed as she waved her wrinkled fingers around.
Shino laughed lightly as he put his shirt, glasses, and coat back on. Hoshi smiled after she pulled her boots on and leaned back on her arms. Shino sat straight and blinked at her.
"Hoshi?"
"Hmm?" Shehummed as she ringed the excess water form her hair.
"I was wondering...if you'd maybe...tell me why you were crying." He stated unsurely.
Hoshi sighed. "Sure, but it's a long story with a sad ending."

Shino stared wide eyed at the girl. Her past was tragic...and...just wow. Hoshi looked up at him and smiled weakly. His mouth formed silent words as he tried to express what he was thinking.
"No need for words, I heard your thoughts." Hoshi mumbled unsurely as she stood up.
Shino stood up too and they began walking back to the clearing where Kiba and Hinata still were. Hoshi reached out for his hand and grasped it, giving it a light squeeze and whispering, "Thank you...for everything," before dropping it.
