The king of vampires and princess of unicorns (vampire story) part 3

If was a few days before we reached King Alexander palace, we were stopped at the gate by guards in golden armor, "Who are you two here to see?" one asked, his helmet cover his whole face except for his eyes, which were blue. "We're here to see King Alexander." Felicia said, "Mmm Hmm, and do you have an appointment?" he asked, I furrowed my eyebrows, "Who the crap makes an appointment with a king? For meeting sure, It's not like someone is going to say 'hey, I think I'll say hello to the king, let's see the 14th sounds good is he available then?'" I rolled my eyes as I crossed my arms, putting all my weight on my hip. "Oh, you're Epona. The king has been expecting you." I stared at the guard for a moment then turned my gaze to Felicia. She shrugged and walked in the gate that was opened for her, I reluctantly follow.

As I stepped into the gate slowly following Felicia up the walkway, there were tons of guards walking around the place. A sudden feeling telling me to get out of there popped up in my gut. I tried to ignore the odd feeling growing as I stepped closer to the castle, I froze. Felicia paused looking back at me as I stared up at the white castle "What's wrong Epona?" she asked, I looked at her for a moment. Her eyes were different they were almost purple, "Something's not right." I said slowly watching her now, a small smirk spread across her face "And why is that?" she taunted slowly walking towards me, I thought for a moment How can she do this to me? She was supposed to be my friend. "Felicia, how could you?" I whispered. I turned on my heel, I sprinted to the gate but I was quickly tackled to the ground by the guards. They picked me up by the arms, carrying me to the giant castle; I was kicking and screaming all the way up to the door "Let me go you dumb butts!" I yelled "Ohh, dumb butt that's so intimidating. I'm shaking in my boots." They laughed at me, I glared as they dragged me up. Felicia eagerly unlocked the door and opened it for them, she pranced in "Well look who's here, it's the lovely Epona." A young man with blond, spiked hair and blue eyes said as he walked down the stairs. He was tall, not nearly as muscular as Aamir, and not as near as handsome. I glared him as he descended the stairs with cockiness that I thought only one person in the universe possessed, Felicia smiled and ran up to the guy "Oh Alex, honey how have you been? I've missed you!" she said trying to hug him, the guy had an annoyed look on his face. He pushed her away from him as he walked down the rest of the way, Felicia followed still trying to get a hug out of him Geez, does she not know how to take a hint? What am I saying? Of course she doesn’t, she never has. I thought as she tried to kiss Alex. "Get off of me." Alex growled in a low voice.

Felicia put on a pouty face than glared towards me "It's because of her, isn't it?" she snapped pointing her finger towards me, Alex took in a deep breath "Yes it's because of her it's always been her, I told you that from the beginning." he ended with a growl, I stared at Alex for a moment as tears began to build up in Felicia's eyes, "You have done your job, Felicia. So now I'm going to ask only once, leave." Felicia's eyes widened "B-b-but what about those nights that we spent together? Did they mean nothing to you?" Alex shook his head, he calmly turned to her, looking her straight in the eye "No." Felicia brook down into tear as she crumbled to the floor. I almost felt sorry for her, almost. "Guards, get her out of here." The guards picked up Felicia and carried her out; I stared after her for awhile "So you're the famous Epona?" he asked me, I looked him for a moment "I don't know how all you people know me because I certainly don't know who you guys are." I turned my head to the side and glared at the wall. "Oh forgive me milady, I am King Alexander, King of the Unicorns." I arched my eyebrows "Really?" I asked Alexander chuckled "No, I just told Felicia that so I could gain her trust and get her to bring you to me."

I stared at Alexander for a second "Why do all you evil kings have names that start with A?" I asked the man chuckled "There is another evil king who wants you other then I?" he asked I nodded "Hmm, that's strange, the only other evil king is king Aamir." King Alexander shudder at the mention of Aamir's name, this caught my attention "Why does Aamir scare you?" I asked, Alexander chuckled "Oh Epona, young, sweet, naïve, Epona. King Aamir can't scare me; he's a pathetic excuse for a man. He can't tame his pet tamed." Alexander chuckled "Oh trust me he tried." I say thinking back, Alexander paused a moment "What?" I smiled sweetly, "I hit him in the head, made him go into a coma like state, and then made my escape, and who do you think is going to be in trouble when he finds me here?" I smiled but it quickly faded when Alexander began laughing "You think That Aamir is going to come after you when you hit him? He wouldn’t waste his time like that." I looked down at the ground in shame because I knew it was true. "Now come on Epona. I will show you to your room." Alexander started walking off but stopped when he noticed I wasn't following, "I said come on, Epona." I smirked "If I never listened to Aamir, what make you think I'll listen to you?" I asked, Alexander growled as he walked over to me, he roughly grabbed me by the arm, pulling me up the stairs. My arm had a bruise on it by the time I got to my supposed room; he dropped me on the floor and squatted to my level "Never disobey me again!" he snapped as he punched me in the eyes. I let out a cry as I tried to kick him; he grabbed it, twisting it as he did so. I heard a snap as he dropped it. He walked out of the room, while slamming the door shut and locking it. Oh, I wish I was back at Aamirs, he never broke anything. At least Star was smart enough to get away when she could.

I lay on the floor looking at my room, I had a small window with bars over it, a bed with only sheets, a small bathroom the smelled and no lights. I pulled myself over to the bed, struggling to pull myself up, I manage some how. I felt a tear drop falling down my cheek I never thought I would say this but I miss Aamir.
