I've got to admit that talking to Killian made me feel alot better but I was still a little sad. After we talked, Valen invited me inside and I met his parents,Emma and Daniel.Emma didn't work but Daniel ran a buissnes from hisstudy. We went into the living room and I sat on the arm of the sofa and watched the boysplay video games. I tryed to think what the boys reminded me of, some thing my mom had told me before she vanished was hovering just out of recollection.I watchedLevigh preform a complicated move. Then it hit me like a semi.Vampires."Holy son of a bitch."I hissed. I vaulted off the edge of the couch and sprinted out the front door,the boys in hot persuit.Ten seconds later I was in my room,boys in tow, with the door locked and barricaded.I ripped apart my closet and found what I needed,A long, locked box. I sat the box on mybed and pulled the key off my neck."So Valen,"I said as I did this,"how long did you think it would take before I realized? Y'know what, I don't want to know.I guess I'm just kind of pissed at myselffor being so goddamned slow. Everything, every single thing,from the way you moved, down to the way you make Kalvin Cline models look like hunchback lepers should have told me. So you tell me. Are you or are you not vampires? You lie, you die. I don't care if you are because I'm not human either, I'm a hybrid."I stood ,looked at the boys,and almost burst out laughing.They were staring at me with open mouths, compleatly shellshocked.I growled playfully to snap them back to reality.Matt had the preasence of mind to nod at my inquizition.Mike spoke now,"What are you a hybrid of ?" I laughed,"I'm halfvampire, half werewolf. And yes I can phase, would you like to see ?" The boys nodded fervrently andI walked to my balcony rail and jumped. I phased into a wolf halfway down and landed perfectly.
