The next morning when Xana woke up, she looked around to see everyone except Roxas dozing peacefully on the floor. Xana smiled, marveling at how good friends they were. She got up, got ready for the day, and, and walked over to Roxas’s room, assuming that was where he was. She knocked and Roxas opened the door.
“Hey,” Xana said cheerfully. “Hey.” “What’re you doing?” “Packing.” “Oh.” Xana’s smile slid off her face. She had forgotten he was leaving today. She thought about her dream again, trying to work out what it meant. And then she realized.
“Roxas?” she said suddenly. “Hmm?” “I’m coming with you.” Roxas’s face split into a wide grin. “Seriously?” Xana nodded. “What made you decide?” he asked. So Xana told him all of her dream, including the cryptic message.
“So if I go, I won’t die. If I don’t do, I will. And giving up much either way means if I go, I’ll give up my home and my friends, and if I don’t go, I’ll give up my life and-” She almost said “you,” but stopped herself just in time. Luckily, Roxas didn’t seem to notice.
“I’ll tell the others later. We’re meeting in the entrance hall at midnight. They’re going to see us off.”

The five best friends spent the whole day together. They talked, laughed, played video games, and had their last band rehearsal. They acted as if it was their last day together, when, in fact, it was.
At dinner, they chatted and laughed more than ever to cover up their feelings of loss and sadness. At ten minutes to midnight, Xana packed a messenger bag with an extra set of clothes and pajamas, toiletries, her favorite book, and a drawing that Roxas had made for her when they were children: a picture of him, Axel, Demyx, Zexion and Xana all holding hands. Xana had always loved that drawing.
She walked to the door and pulled it open. Before stepping out, she gave the room one last look, a sad smile on her face. Then she turned off the lights and closed the door. She took her time walking down the stairs, taking in everything she saw hungrily, knowing she would never see it again.
When she reached the entrance hall, she saw the boys were already there. As soon she reached them, the five friends headed wordlessly out the doors. It was raining, which matched Xana’s mood perfectly.
They walked in silence until they reached a large plaza with a tall tower in it. “I guess this is good-bye,” Xana said, her voice trembling. “For now,” Zexion said. “Huh?” Xana asked, confused. “Roxas told us where you’re going. We’ll be visiting you,” Demyx replied. “Soon,” Axel added. Xana smiled weakly.
“I’ll still miss you,” she said, hugging each of them tightly. Roxas opened a portal as Xana pulled away from Zexion. “Bye guys,’ he said sadly. “See you soon.” He held out his hand to Xana, who took it and gave it a squeeze. “Bye,” Xana whimpered, tears spilling silently down her face.
Roxas gave them a small wave and a sad smile before he and Xana walked through the portal, hand in hand.
Author's Note:I know there are some aspects of the story that differ from the actual game, so I will take the time to explain them to you. Number One:Roxas and Xana seem to have feelings. This is because they're different in that sense. They have and show more emotion than regular Nobodies. Axel, Zexion, and Demyx don't, but they, Roxas and Xana are so tight, even they feel some sadness and loss. Number Two: Riku and Roxas fight. I didn't think it'd make sense for Riku to fight Roxas with his friends standing around. Plus, I'm absolute crap at battle scenes. =) Number Three: Some of the Organization is supposed to be dead.This does take place after Sora went to sleep, so yes, technically, Zexion and some other members are not supposed to be there. I thought that it would be too hard to write about Sora going through Castle Oblivion, killing off members, because then I'd have to add another ten or so chapters to describe it all. I would also have to write about Zexion dying and his friends' loss, so I decided to keep it simple and not write about that. Long author's note, huh?
