I woke up sitting in the chairI looked around, Randy's parents arent here. I got up there was a note taped to my hand

we went downstairs to get somthing to eat be back in a half hour if anyone comes to ask about randy tell them where we are unless you can answer it, thank you.

I took out my cell phone, it was 7:52, Kendall should be here soon. I text messaged Kendallto mee me in the emergency room, she texted back "ok". i started thinking howmy life is really shitty right now.I may be an expecting father, how are we supposed to afford thisbaby, me and Kendall give off the impression that were rich butwe're really not. we live in the ghetto of our town.And what about Randy if he's not okay i dont know what i'll do, i think i'm in love with one of my best friends but i knocked up the other, my life is so fucked right now. then the door opened and Randys parents walked in.
"good morning hon" said Mrs. Vartel
"good morning" i replied
"how'd ya sleep" asked Mr. Vartel
"good, did you guys sleep"i asked
"no, we wanted to be up for any updates" he said
"oh" i said. Then Kendall walked in. "hey" i said.
"hey, you ready" she asked.
"yeh" i said, then i turned to Mrs. Vartel "i have to go help her with somthing i'll be right back after though okay"?
"sure thing" she said. so me ank kendall walked down the hall to the maternity ward, our hospital has free pregnancy checks oh saturdays, me and kendall found this so trashy its funny. so we walked up to the window.
"good morning mam" i said
"you can not give your mothers name im sorry" said the nurse, her name tag said "stuage" more like sewage.
"um no we would like to give our names" i said
"oh" she said with an attitude "my mistake heres the paper work" she scowled
"thank you" i took the paper work and we walked to the seats, under my breathe i said "god ever hear of service with a smile" kendall giggled and we sat down and filled pout the paper work in about five minutes then returned it to our new friend
"thank you the doctor will see you in a moment" she said with an attitude
"thankyou" i said and gave her the finger as she walked away. we went back to our seats for two minutes then a doctor walked out,she seemed nice, nicer than the window lady. she had long black hair and pretty carmel skin. she called kendalls name.
"Kendall" she said then turned to me and said "you will have to wait but you can come in when the test is done" then she smiled at me.
"okay" i said. so kendall and the doctor, dr.victoria, walked in to her office and the door closed so I walke to the vending machines and got a bottle of water and a granola bar ate the granola bar then sat down in the waiting room and drank my water, after ten minutes kendall came out of the office and sat down
"their running the test now so we can go in as soonas the test is done" she explained
"alright" so we waited. ten minutes later dr.victoria came out and told us to come in.
"alright guys the test came back" she said " and you are pregnant kendall" kendall looked like she was going to cry "i'll give you a moment" so she walked out. kendall burst into tears.
"what are we going to do" she sobbed "we cant tell our parents my mom will throw me out but shes gonna find out"
"its alright lets calm down and see what dr.victoria thinks we should do, okay"? i asked
"okay" so dr.victoria walked in.
"alright so kendall tells me you two are not dating or ever where dating but you are the father" she said to me.
"yes thats correct" i said.
"okay and you plan on sticking around for her" she asked
"yeah im not going to abandon her" i said
"thats good do you know what ur planning for the baby" she asked
"well we wanted your opinion we really dont know whats best for our situation" kendall said
"well do your parents know"? she asked
"no" said kendall
"well their going to find out no matter what, but i would sugest what your parents think is best" she said "but did yout think about maybe getting an abortion"?she asked
"um yes i dont think i'd be able to live with myself" kendall replied
"i understand" she said "well do you have anymore questions"?
"yes" said kendall. so her and the doctor went back and forth about care for the baby while shes pregnant and after ten minutes we were done.
"i want to stay for randy but if my mom finds out i snuck out this early without cleaning the house im dead so i gotta go"
"alright bye"
"bye" then i went back to the waiting room, randys parents were still here.
"randys up you can go see him" said Mr. Vartel
"alright" i was happy now completely forgot about the baby, so i went to the nurse andasked her what room randy was in and she said 405. so i found 405 and went in he was sitting on the bed in his boxers.
"hey" i said
"hey" he said back. we stood there for a second then he got up and i ran to him and he held me for a few minutes
"i am so sorry" i sobbed as i started to cry
"hey" he said then lifted my head to look at him"its not your fault" i stood up straight and rubbed his bruises on his chest then i rubbed his face. then he grabbed me and pulled me on to his bed and we just layed there for a while he kissed me softly and it was perfect, i wanted that moment to last forever.
