In the morning when Laura awoke, Hiei was gone but there was a single candle lit to let her know he was close by. She smiled as she put out the candle and got dressed. She went to the stone circle right after breakfast, ignoring her father when he wanted to take her home. While she danced flames sparked between the stones, and when she stopped the flames subsided, and Hiei stepped into the circle. Laura then settled herself in Hiei’s arms, “Good morning.”
Hiei lifted her chin so he could look into her eyes. “So beautiful,” he murmured before pulling her into a passionate kiss.
Laura felt her legs give under her when his lips touched hers. She kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck; she felt his arms tighten around her waist as the kiss became hungry.
To Hiei kissing Laura was like a drug; a drug he was highly addicted to. The taste of her filled him until he thought he’d go mad, but he kept his movements gentle. He skimmed his mouth down her neck and smirked when she shuddered in his arms. “I love you.”
“What?” she asked pulling away, not sure of what he had said.
“I love you, Laura. You make me happy.”
Before Laura could say anything to him, she was called by her grandfather, “Hiei, my dad is dragging me back to the city today. He’ll tell my mom about us; you won’t get within one hundred miles of me.”
He smirked again, “All you need to do is light a candle, Laura. That way I’ll always be able to get to you.”
Laura’s grandfather called to her again, “I have to go, Hiei,” she kissed him quickly, “I love you too.”
When Laura got home sure enough her father told Amy about Hiei and their daughter. “I don’t want to talk to you.”
“Young lady, you will come back down here this instant.”
“And if I don’t? Who’s going to make me, you? You don’t use your abilities anymore. You’re not going to keep him from me, mother, you can’t.”
“What makes you say that?” Amy questioned, her aura shimmering with power.
“The fact that I love him, mom. I love him. So go ahead and try to bind my powers. I’ve read the entire Oracle’s Journal and memorized everything down to the last ending mark; I’ll counter it easily.” Before Amy could do or say anything, Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama showed at the door, “Damn you guys are persistent! Fine, I’ll go see what this guy wants; anything to get out of here.”
“We were just wondering if you knew where Hiei was, but we can take you to Koenma anyway,” Kurama said a bit uneasy.
“Then hurry up goddamn it, I can’t stand it here any longer!” Without another word they took her to Koenma’s office; Laura was brimming with anger, “All right you fucking brat what the hell do you want?”
“That is no way to speak to the Prince of Spirit World!” he yelled offended.
“Well I don’t give a shit! I’m pissed off and I already know that I’m being tracked! It comes with being an Oracle you dumbass!” Laura jumped onto his desk, a dagger clutched in her fist, “Leave... me... alone.” Laura stormed out of Koenma’s office and as she walked she took out a lighter, “Hiei, get me the hell out of here!” At her request the flames from her lighter wrapped around her body and the next moment she was settled into Hiei’s arms, “I don’t want to stay with them anymore. They’re trying to keep us apart.”
“Then stay with me,” he said simply, “unless you’d rather be somewhere else?”
Laura looked up at Hiei, tears filling her eyes, “Hiei how much do you love me?”
Hiei looked at Laura, his chest beginning to ache at the sight of her tears. He wasn’t able to find the right words to express what he felt about this woman; he barely used words to express himself in the first place. So he pulled her as close as possible and kissed her with a fiery passion. With his speed he pinned her against a wall just to have the pleasure of hearing her gasp in shock.
Laura was melted she barely had the strength to wrap her arms around his neck. Once he had her against the wall, his hands skimmed slowly down her sides. She felt him smirk and wanted to kick him but couldn’t manage it. When he finally pulled away, the smallest moan escaped her throat not wanting him to stop. She willed herself to keep standing as she pulled him back into the kiss this time holding on strongly to him.
They moved all around his warehouse laughing, kissing, and playing. Until Hiei discovered one of her sensitive spots that made her moan.
