Story Start!

I made my way to the garden i the school grounds where i knew the others would be, okay, i dont know why but for some reason i'm getting nervous. . .maybe im not really welcome there because im a witch and not a vampire, or would they just see me as an ordinary human with nothing to offer what-so-ever?
"Mrow?"
"Im fine neko, im fine, just stay calm and- - -crap i forgot, i need a present for him from me. . . . .ummm. . .i know!"
I clicked my fingers and a bag appeared in my left hand with a gift already wrapped up inside it. . .okay now that that done i guess i better, who am i kidding? I stopped in my tracks. . .I bet i wouldnt even be welcome there! Why did i make a gift?

"Mroooooooow. . . .mrow mrow mrow really dont know why you're afraid of some stupid vampires, you're a witch for crying out loud . . ."
I stood there for a moment before i took neko off my head. . .
"You can talk?" i asked
"Finally! You've learnt the animal language! This way i dont have to talk to myself all the time trying to talk to you and then you misinterpret what i say. . ."
"But this cant be. . . .animals cant talk, i must be going crazy. . ."
"No you're not going crazy . . .put me down .. . thankyou . . . when a witch reaches a certain age her pet of choice will form a bond with her which can not be broken, when that day comes the witch will learn the language of the animals to help strengthen the bond, thus which has just happened"
"How do you know all this?"
"Before your family was attacked and you were out collecting herbs. . .i was the animal your mother and father planned to give you when you returned. . .after the attack and you were saved by that . . . that kaname kuran . . . i followed you and started living with you of-course"
"Wow, so what's your name?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well you must have a name. . ."
"Hellooooo you named me neko, neko is my name!"
"Oh, so even if you can talk i still get to keep calling you what i named you . . ."
"I didnt have a name before you named me so neko has always; and always will be my name"
"Oh ok . . . . .well what now?"
"What do you mean what now? You've got a party to attend and song to sing . . .put me back on your head so it doesnt look weird. . ."

I picked up neko and put him back on my head and continued to walk
"Neko. . .do you hate vampires?"
"Yes . . . i hate them. . ."
"Is it because they killed my family?"
"Its actually alot more than you think . . ."

I could sense that neko didnt want to talk about it so i just dropped the subject
"Okay, here we go . . ."
"Stay calm Luna . . . none of that nervous shaking alright"
"mmmkay"
I walked into the garden and saw that there were vampires spread out everywhere, there were dark red cushiony lounges spread out randomly,okay there are way more vampires than i thought there would be here . . . I looked around but i didnt see Kaname-kun anywhere's. . .
"Lunaaaaa!!!" i looked further ahead to see aidou standing with akatsuki waving his arms about crazily in the air, he he he, that was just like aidou.....
"Aidoooooooouuuuuuu!!!!" i called his name waving my one free arm to him like he did to me
I could hear him laughing from all the way down there, his voice sure does carry. I walked up to aidou and akatsuki feeling Neko tense up a little on my head.
"Hi guys, Happy birthday akatsuki . . ." i handed akatsuki the bag
"Thanks, you didnt have to . . ."
"Are you kidding? everyone deserves a preset on my birthday. . .i swear if i didnt get a present i'd probably cry . . ."
"What is it? What is it? Open it already!!" aidou impatiently pleaded
Akatsuki sighed at aidou and took out the first present which was in a rectangle box, unwrapping it he saw it wasa Play DDR at home game. Aidou snatched it from him straight away and began chattering about how fun it would be if he could play it,Akatsuki eyed me.
"I thought that since you're his room mate he must get pretty annoying sometimes so if he's annoying you one day you can just tell him to play DDR and he'll most likley leave you alone, you're real present is still in the bag. . ."
Akatsuki then reached in the bag and took out a small red box, i clicked my fingers and the bag was gone, the box still remaiing in Akatsuki's hand. He opened it and saw that inside was a golden necklace in the shape of a flame.
"Thankyou"
"Dont worry, looking nice isnt the only thing it does. . .put it on. . ." i said
Akatsuki took out the necklace and trie to put it on, he failed
"Here, let me help you"
I took the necklace from akatsuki and put it on around his neck, i walked back around to face him and he was twiddling the flame charm between his fingers
"What now?" he asked
"There's a charm i put on that flame so it . . . well, i guess it increases your abilities with fire, seeing as you're able to use fire at your command . . . just, use your power for a moment"
Akatsuki created a flame in his hand and without warning it quadrupled in size and then burnt out
"Whoa. . ." akatsuki mumbled
"Yea, its pretty cool, i guess its like how my crescent moon necklace increases my magic abilities"
"Thankyou, Luna"
"No problem . . . . . so what else did you get?"
"Nothing, i asked everyone not toget me anything. . .having things around the room is a hassle, aidou has so much stuff already. . ."
"Oh, im sorry . . . i guess i really shouldnt have gotten you anything then huh?"
"No. . . i like your gifts. . . ."
Akatsuki looked so . . . .Ah! I couldnt resist, I glomped akatsuki and hugged him tightly
"You are so cute akatsuki!!!" i cried
Neko jumped from my head and sat at my feet, i let akatsuki go and smiled at him as he eyed me questioningly
"Awww akatsuki, i had to hug you, you looked so cute at that moment i couldnt help myself"
"Having fun are we?"
I looked to see kaname standing at my side all of a sudden
"Oh hey kaname-kun i didnt see you there hows it goin?!"i blurted out, man, how did he get there so fast?
"Luna, are you ready to give akatsuki my gift?"
"Oh, yes of - course, but do you have - -"
"Everything is over there. . ."
I looked behind us to see a stage about 30cm off the ground anda microphone, nothing else. Heh, a microphone was all i eeded, thanks to being a witch i could create music from the mind and havepeople in the form of holograms as backup singers. . . of course those holograms would have instruments otherwise there would be no music. . . .he he he. . . .
"I hope you enjoy your gift Akatsuki. . ." kaname said sitting down on a red couch not too far away
"Here goes, wah! Neko . . ."
Neko jumped on my head and curled up as i walked onto the small stage, i stood with the michrophone in my hand and saw that a crowd of vampires had began to gather around for the show. . . . . .uh. . . . .awkward much . . . . they began whispering amongst each other and i suddenly became nervous. . . .argh! Yuuki and zero what were they doing here?!
"Luna. . .remember what i said, look just be yourself, imagine like its only you and me in the music room, what they think of you doesnt matter. . ."

I smiled, neko was right. . .lets just get this over with . . .I held the microphone an loosened my body up. . .i began to sing . . .
