Please Don't: A Harry, Snape, and Sirius Love Story: 1
Chapter 2 : Please Don't: A Harry, Snape, and Sirius Love Story: 2
This chapter is titled *Pain*
Harry woke up to the sound of crying. He looked down his bed and saw a girl, blonde and pale, curled up in a ball on top of the trunk at the end of his bed.
“Dani?” he said, leaning forward, reaching out to me.
“Harry,” I whispered, amazed at how good his voice made me feel. A fresh wave of pain swept through me when I said his name. I fell off of the trunk and onto the floor, writhing in pain.
“Dani, what’s wrong?” he had gotten out of bed and was on the floor, kneeling next to me.
‘Agree, and the pain will stop,’ the voice in my head said. ‘It’s easy. All you have to do is say yes.’
“Fine!” I whisper-shouted. “I agree!” The pain left swiftly and I collapsed completely into the floor. Harry reached out and pulled my head into his lap, stroking my hair softly.
“Dani, what happened?”
“My master,” I spat out the word with distaste, “told me to do something and I didn’t. That was his way of getting me to agree to do it.”
“Master?”
“My owner. My personal torturer.”
“Is that legal?”
“No.”
“That’s not what I was asking about, though,” he waved at my arms, legs, shoulders, and face that were covered in cuts and scrapes, bleeding all over my tank top and capris. “What did this? You need to go to the hospital wing.” With that he picked me up bride style and started walking out with me.
“Harry! No! I don’t want to go there! I’m fine, it’ll heal.”
“Put your arms around my neck,” he said, ignoring my protests.
“No,” I said, crossing my arms across my chest.
He shrugged, “Just figured it’d be more comfortable for you.” We walked in silence for a while. I struggled at the very beginning, but gave up when I realized I wasn’t going to be able to break free.
“Can you at least let me down so I can walk there?” I mumbled.
“Do you promise to behave?”
“Sure.” He glanced at my face and let me down gently. I tried to take a step and fell.
“Dani!”
“I’m fine, fine. But I think my leg might be broken.”
“Yeah. And you say your fine,” he replied sarcastically.
“Just help me up,” I said, reaching out for him. He pulled me up.
“Wow, you’re cold,” he whispered.
“I know,” I muttered back. Suddenly, a thought pricked in the back of my head.
“Harry!” I whisper-shouted at him. “Harry! Come here!”
“Dani? What’s wrong?”
“Someone’s coming. Pick me back up!” he did as I said and I pretended to be unconscious. “Light your wand! You’re excuse is you found me in the common room like this and saw I obviously needed to go to the hospital wing.”
“Okay…. Who is it?”
“Snape.” I played dead as he kept walking.
