Everything happened so fast. All I remember is me screaming, my heart pounding, everything getting dizzy also, then I saw her blood and I fainted also.

When I woke up my dad and brother were in the room talking about cars or something that involves a piston. Basketball wise maybe?

I let out a loud coughing noise which made them turn there heads to face me; I smiled at them and they waved and turned to face each other and continued to talk. Jerks.

"Nurse!" I called out. About a minute later a lady who looked like she was in her twenties and had light blonde hair and dark blue eyes walked in, with a smile frozen to her face.

"Can I help you?"

"I need to get up."

She grinned at me. "To go to the bathroom."

"No I have to see my friend."

"Kris?"

"How'd you know?"

"You two are the big talk in this hospital." She laughed.

"What?"

"It's not every day when a girl faints and then a boy faints."

"It's like ironic."

I frowned at her. "I just can't look at the sight of blood." I turned my head to face my relatives to see that they were still talking.

"Wow such a manly man." She winked before exiting the room.

"Hey! I want to see her."

"Boy, you're not allowed to stand up and already want to dance over to her?" She said.

"I wasn't going to dance. I was going to run." I grinned.

"Crawl, walk, swim. You're not going to get up to go unless you have to go to the bathroom." She said half way out the door.

"I have to pee." I grinned, she sighed and stared at me.

"I won't tell if you won't tell."

"Whatever I've been looking for a reason to get fired, I hate this place but my mom is making me work here."

"Then it works out perfect." The words slid out of my mouth.

"Mom." I smiled as I walked into the room where my mom was sitting in a chair in the corner. She glanced up from her book, with a surprised expression.

"Brendon! Are you suppose to be walking?" She said giving me a gentle hug.

"Blah I made a deal with a nurse, I walk and she gets fired." She gave me a twisted look and then shook her head and sat back in her chair.

"I really don't want to know." I smiled at her and sat in the chair next to her.

"Is she okay?" I said watching Kris's chest rise up and down from breathing.

"They say she hasn't eaten anything, and she's overstressed and everything caught up to her head." My mom frowned.

"But we ate like an ho- - -" Then I realized, that's why I shut my mouth. I glanced back at my mom who was close to tears.

"She's forcing herself to throw up?" I cringed as I said the words.

My mom nodded and looked at her. "She woke up about 10 minutes earlier, she asked for you."

"What you say?"

"I said you were so amazed by her performance that you knocked yourself out." I shook my head and let a smile slip out.

"Then she said, he fainted? And then I know it wasn't to be harsh in anyway but she smiled." She said looking at me, giving a smirk.

"What?" I smiled.

"Then she asked me why she fainted. And I told her about her problem which I sorta think she knew before." My mom laughed before continuing. "Then I told her she had to stop this or it wasn't going to be just fainting next."

"After she asked, do you think Brendon would want me to stop? And I said of course. She finally shut her eyes and smiled, and said then I'll try my hardest. And she fell asleep." She patted my shoulder and stood up.

"I'm going to leave you two alone."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to go tell the doctor you didn't escape."

She walked to the door and then stopped and looked at me. "Your father or brother didn't notice you?"

"Oh they waved and then continued to talk about cars. . . or basketball." I laughed, she rolled her eyes, muttered something under her breath and opened the door and shut it quietly; as I scooted my chair closer to the bed to grab Kris's hand as I kissed it lightly.

I left her about 20 minutes alone, and she goes throws up while I'm gone. "You have to stop." I mumbled into her hand, as if it were her ear.

"I don't think my hand will respond Brendon." My eyes scattered over to her face, as her small smiled appeared.

I dropped her hand. "I don't think so either." I smiled, and made my face dangerously close to hers.
