Project Rebirth.

Namine frowned deeply and kept the Masamune threateningly close to Goldd. "Take me to them and give me the death note books." She said, "Or I will kill you, as well as Misa and Mikami when I find them myself." She said, opening a portal and gesturing for him to enter or die.
Goldd nodded weakly and they walked straight into Kira's palace. [aka: the Palace's at Versailles remodeled for Kira]
Misa was sitting in her throne, and several thousand people were in the throne room with her.
With the arrival of Goldd and Namine, Misa screamed her lungs out and the room was filled with guards.
"Calm down, would you!?" Namine yelled angrily, then taking the Masamune and pointing it towards the guards and taking her old sword, Murasame, and pointing it at Goldd.
"I have no intention of killing you, unless you refuse to give me the death note." She said, frowning.
"Surrender the book, and your life will be spared. Same goes for Mikami and any other death note books that may be hidden throughout the world."
Misa began to panic, "Ohh god... what's Light gotten himself into!! What do I do!? He wont forgive me if I lose the Death note! ...or will he be fine?"
"How dare you threaten God in her very own Palace-- Seize them and take them out of here!!" Misa cried to the guards.
Namine looked at Goldd.
"Remember our deal." She mumbled loud enough so only he could hear her. "I get that death note, or I kill Misa with the same ease I used to kill Light."
The last two words were spoken loud enough as a warning to the guards.
"I didn't want to stain God's pretty palace with blood, but if you send your guards on me, I will not hesitate to do so." She said calmly, not even phased by the guards one bit. She'd gone up against so many people so far, she wouldn't let herself be taken down now.
With that determination, her eyes glowed teal again.
The guard closest to her that Misa had sent after her had become encased in pink light, just like Light.
"This is what will happen to you if you defy me." She said, "For I am the new God, chosen by Sephiroth... and he's as close to God you'll EVER know."
At the end of this mocking statement, she snapped her fingers and the same pain that Light felt had now exploded within the guard's body, leading him to the same fate as Light.
Misa began to panic, "H-How can she do this?!?! Dammit... what would Light want me to-"
"Kira... Kira's dead? You... You killed Light?" She said, with a look of horror on her face. She began to squeeze the ends of the throne, "KILL HER!!! I dont care who she is, I want ALL of you to kill her!!" She screamed.
She began to walk off as everybody in the room flew at Namine.
Namine frowned. "Fine then. Goodbye, Misa." She said as the pink glow enveloped Misa and she would soon meet the same end.
Holding her hand out, she created a barrier around Goldd, not allowing him to be attacked or for him to exit the barrier. She then used this opportunity to double-wield her Masamune and her Murasame to begin destroying the soldiers that attacked her.
After she grew bored of the killing, she closed her eyes and gathered up energy, unleashing fire and lightning throughout the room as she did in Light's headquarters.
Before long, everybody in the room had been slaughtered. Misa had fallen and the death note fell beside her.

Back in Junon, the ShinRa forces had taken back their fortress.

On the Airship over Junon, L was still waiting in his sealed room. He had no idea what Namine had been doing, or if she was okay.
"Namine... Did you succeed?"

Namine hurried up and grabbed the death note that Misa had dropped. She looked back over to Goldd and walked over to the barrier he was sealed in.
"Two down..." She said tauntingly, holding the two in her hands before putting them in her bag and closing it-- had anyone tried taking the death notes, they'd suffer. At this time, she reached Goldd and got rid of the barrier. She then pointed the Masamune at him again, Murasame was sheathed again. "One to go."
After a long pause she frowned at him, her taunting smirk had vanished. "Where is Mikami's death note?" She asked, her voice became cold and serious.
"Mikami-sama.... His Death note, looked exactly like Misa-sama's. It must be with him..." Said Goldd, spilling everything out of fear of death.
Namine seemed like the most fearsome force that ever existed... and Goldd wasnt about to make her angry.
"Bring me to him, then." She laughed, her voice was caught between insane anger and taunting Goldd.
What a monster, she had become... and realizing this deep down just made her angrier. She wasn't Namine anymore... she was totally different.
"I have no idea where he is...." He pleaded, with his head facing the ground, "I only know what I've overheard!"
Namine frowned deeply. "This sword is going to find itself somewhere unexpected if you don't FIND MIKAMI and seize his Death Note." she said, bringing the sword closer to Goldd as she spoke.
"You will find him for me."
Goldd bowed his head again, "I would suspect he's in the capital... But I have gotten tired of serving you," He stood up, with an angry look on his face.
"I'd rather die trying to stop you than blindly serve you!"
Namine grew an insane smirk, her eyes became quite wide. "Then you shall die now." She said, "And I respect your bravery, Goldd. I was hoping you could have come to our side." She said, and in a sweet gesture she placed two fingers in front of her, pointing at him.
"To show you my respect, you shall die how I killed your master." She said, "Unless you choose another method of battle." Her voice spoke in a mock-sweet tone.
"I really dont intend on dying now....." Said Goldd, pulling out a concealed knife, "At the very least, I'll take you down with me!!!" He charged at her, with his knife ready.

As soon as he reached his mark, blood splattered across the floor.

Namine did an easy backflip away from Goldd as he charged at her, then used her sword to block any incoming attack, but then she didn't expect to see the blood splattered across the floor.
"What the..." She raised an eyebrow, not seemed shocked, but somewhat alert.
Mikami had shot Goldd, he didnt want anything to harm this girl. He put the gun back into the holster, "Dont worry, I am not your enemy."
Namine stared at him, frowning.
"So, this must be Mikami..." She kept her sword firm in her grip, a safe distance from Mikami and Goldd's body. She didn't know if he was killed outright or just wounded, but she wouldn't take any chances.
She couldn't be effected by the death note... but she knew who could. Rather then getting right down to taking his Death Note, Namine decided to give him a chance to tell her what he wanted to say. She was all for sparing a life...
Violence wasn't ever her nature before this all happened.
"Seeing that I killed your God, shouldn't I be your worst enemy?" She said, narrowing her eyes at him with suspicions running through her head.
On the airship, Cloud had unlocked the doors. He was aware that Namine had left the world altogether, so there was no sense in them running after her.
"... Nami..." Yuffie said quietly, "Where are you?"
"Please, Namine..." Cloud whispered. He didn't want to lose her. They'd all grown quite close to the blond nobody.

Mikami smiled. "I am not your enemy, atleast.... not anymore. After watching God die with such ease, I've concluded that you must be God. Light Yagami was able to judge criminals at his will, but he was just a psychotic killer, you brought him to justice. You must be God....." Said Mikami, "Not to mention you possess all of Kira's Death notes as well.... everything Light Yagami was, you have surpassed." He turned around and as he did, he noticed Goldd, "It's a pity he had attacked you, I had to make that sacrifice in order to protect you... and now with the Death of Goldd, the Dark World is to be restored to peace without the presence of Haou and the Dark World army...."
Namine raised an eyebrow.
"God..?" At the thought, she laughed quietly.
"Well, this is quite unexpected... It would be hard to trust you anymore, due to the fact you served Light by killing criminals in your death note. You also have the eyes, do you not?" She asked, frowning slightly at the possibility of another traitor.
"I could trust you, but the possibility of you killing my guardians is too large." She said, putting her sword in it's sheath on her side and crossing her arms, though remaining on guard.
"Then will you kill me...." He said, looking to the ground, with an unusual smirk on his face.
"It doesnt matter to me.... Do as you wish, I am only your humble servant."
"If you do not surrender your death note book, I'll have no choice but to do so." she said, catching the look on his face at a glance and keeping her guard up.
"Only then will I allow you to walk out of this situation alive."
She felt as if she was right not to trust him after seeing the smirk on his face. She'd found them all out from the time she killed Light-- she wouldn't let anyone else die from the death note...
"There are two death notes in the human world... Misa Amane had one, and Light Yagami had the other... but I believe you have them both now..." He stated simply.
Namine narrowed her eyes. "I was told that you had one, Mikami sir." She said coldly. Goldd was scared for his life, so there was very little chance he lied to her about it. Then again, Goldd was against her and probably knew he was going to die soon anyway. Truth be told, Namine had no intentions of sparing him from the beginning.
"But, I'm sure we can work something out..." She said, frowning darkly. "As I said, I'm all for saving a life. Prove to me you aren't going to kill any of my allies, and you're free to do as you wish."
"I have no quarrel against you... I work to make the world a safe place for the good. You wouldn't do anything to threaten this peace, and neither would your allies. Besides, I have no death note... so killing your allies, or you, is out of the question." Mikami replied.
"Good." She said, "For if my allies die for a reason I don't know, you will be the first person I point fingers at." She said, then turning to open a portal.
"I suggest you come with me..." She said.
"This way, I have constant surveillance on him."
Mikami silently followed her into the portal.
