You sat next to Hinata, watching her, watch Naruto. You took a deep breath.
"Come on Hinata I'm bored." You whinned. She looked at you.
"Just a little while longer." She said. Watching Naruto train was something she did often, and since you were on her team, and she considered you her best friend, you ended up tagging along. You took another breath.
"Okay I'm outta here, I'll meet you later." You said jumping from the tree branch, you shoved your hands into your pockets. You wore black cargo pants, with a black tank top. Your brown black hair and black eyes, completed your very dark look. You were from the Sakai clan and their blood line trait was over shadow. Almost like Shikamaru, only yours was way more powerful. You could trap someone in the shadows around them, and then leave them there to die. Or if someone stabbed you, as long as your shadow was in the way it would absorb and come out in another shadow. Your complection was close to Hinata's, you were somewhat pale. It wasn't an unhealthy thing, your whole clan looked like ghosts. You were walking into the village and you caught a voice that made you mad just hearing it.
"I can't believe it, it's sooo nasty when you really think about it." Ino said. You stopped your walk and looked in her direction. Ino stood a few yards away from you, talking with another usless shinobi. Sakura, stood nodding. "I mean think about it. Those bugs LIVE inside of him." You instantly got angry. They had to be talking about your teammate and friend Shino. Yeah you knew that those bugs lived inside of him, but look at how much that helped out the village, the guy was brillant too. You smiled as an evil thought entered your head. You pulled your hands together, and focused on Ino, and Sakura's shadows, suddenly their shadows jumped off the wall next to them, wrapping around them and pulling them into the wall. They started screaming so you used the shadow to cover their mouths. You were just about to cover their faces completely when suddenly you were upside down.
"HEY WHAT THE?" You screamed. Only turning to see the only visable eye of Kakashi Hatake closed as his head shook back and forth. "Oh hi Kakashi sensei. So......what can I help you with?" You said smiling.
"Rai, will you pull them out of the wall now?" He said still holding your leg as he turned you by your ankle toward the two girls that looked like someone built them into the shop wall, you began laughing, and Kakashi dropped you.
"OWWW! That hurt you know." Kakashi knelled down next to you.
"Rai, Now." He said. You pouted a bit, but released the Jutsu. Ino and Sakura seemed to be yanked from the wall as they both hit the floor hard. You laughed again. And then felt a hand on your head. Looking up you smiled at Kakashi. His eye showing dissapointment. "Rai, why did you do that? You should never use a Jutsu like that on your allies." You crossed your arms over your chest.
"Yeah well, my ALLIES should be talking about my teammates like hes some weird freak. I think that's the line that I don't want crossed." Kakashi took a deep breath.
"Kiba or Shino?" He asked. You looked up at him.
"Shino. They were saying he was creepy. Their ones to talk, at least Shino can do SOMETHING, all they do is wait for their teammates to do the work for them." You looked down at the ground, another soft pat on your head, made you look up at Kakashi, his eye softer.
"Your a good kid Rai. I think it's great that you would stand up for him like that, but don't do it again. And" he said standing up, and walking past you.
"And?" You said. He stopped and looked at you over his shoulder.
"You should tell him that you have a crush on him." Your jaw dropped as the Jounin dissappeared before you. You sat there on your butt, mouth wide open, eyes wide with shock, looking at the spot Kakashi was just standing at.
"Rai." You turned your head, your mouth still open, your eyes still wide, as you looked up at the guy before you. You couldn't see his eyes, they were hidden behind his glasses, but his eyebrows were arched, he was trying to figure out if your were okay. You slowly shut your mouth and narrowed your eyes, then stood up, busting your butt off of the dirt that was there.
"Hey Shino, what's up?" You say smiling and dusting off your shirt.
"I was about to ask you the same thing. Are you okay, you had an.... unusual look on your face." You smile.
"Yeah I know, I was just talking to Kakashi sensei, and he said something to me that was sooo wierd and then.... GONE. He just took off. He does that alot."
"What did he say?" You smiled at him.
"Well I'm not sure if I want to tell you that." You said rubbing the back of your head.
"He said she had a crush on you." You looked to the side, to see Ino smirking at you.
"OH INO, YOU WANNA DISSAPPEAR AGAIN!" You said, acting like you were rolling up your sleeves as you marched toward the blonde, since Sakura was already gone it would be easier to get rid of just one person.
"Rai you promised Kakashi that you wouldn't do that." You turned to Shino.
"I don't remember him making me promise that." You then shot an instant red. "Wait you heard all of that?" The said pointing at him. He walked up to you.
"Yes, I did. I thank you for sticking up for me, but if you keep this up, they will reprimand you. So let her go, it doesn't bother me in the least." He said watching Ino run around the corner.
"If you were there than why did you ask me what Kakashi said?" You asked. He looked at you.
"I was curious if you would tell me what he said." He stopped. For a minute you two stood there quitely staring at each other. "So is it true?" He asked. You looked down at the floor.
"Well, I guess....What I mean is. Your very important to me. I like you more than I like everyone else. I enjoy spending time with you morethan anyoneelse."You felt something warmon your hand. Looking at it you saw his hand on yours.
"All you have to do is say it. I feel the same way about you." You smiled at him.
"Dam it!" You said, making a fist with your hand.
"What?" He asked. You looked at him.
"I bet Kakashi is hiding somewhere around here right now, laughing at me." Shino leaned in quickly and layed a kiss on your lips. You were suprised, but the kiss was just like him. It was firm, and warm.The suprising part was that he smelled like strawberries. He pulled away.
"I've already taken care of it." He said, you tilted your head. As a loud thump was heard behind you, you spun around to see Kakashi on his back, his head turned toward you, as a bunch of Shino's bugs left him and started back to their master.
"HA Take That. Go chakra eating bugs. HAHA. Shitty spying Jounin. Get a life."You grabbed Shino's hand, and the two of you left the street, walking around the village. "You know what Shino?" He looked over at you. "I don't think your creepy. I don't mind the bugs. I actually like them. You know who's reallyscary." You said stopping, Shino stopping with you, his eyes that were hidden, were aimed at you."INO PIG!" You said pointing at the blonde girl as she exited a resturant. She looked up at you. You laughed, Shino looked back at the girl, then to you.
"Rai lets go." He said, you looked at him.
"But why?" Shino looked at you. And for a split second, there was a small smile on his face.
"Because I don't needto be around anyone else." You smiled at him.
"Remind me to thank Kakashi sensei later."
"Me too." He said, as you walked through the city hand in hand.
