Vamps & Witches :~: Intro

The date? That's easy, it was June eighth, 2006. Two days before my 16th birthday. My mom and I were to go shopping for my birthday present. That morning I woke up, brushed my teeth and went to get her up. I went to into her room and saw that my father had already gone to work, so I climbed into to bed next to her. She didn't move like you would expect, you know, scoot over to give me more room, mummble somthing about being up soon, no none of that. Her body mearly bounced up and down. I went to shake her shoulder. Her body was cold, like ice. I became alarmed and started shouting her name. I rolled her onto her back, I screamed nd leaped away from her. Her eys were open and glazed over, a look of shock in them. She wasn't breathing and there were two puncture marks on her neck. I ran to her again and placed my hands on her neck willing it to be healed. I saw my brown curly hair growing longer and straighter until it finally turned black. I looked up into the mirror across the room from me and instead of seeing my hazel eyes looking back, I saw ice blue ones. I wasn't shocked. I know what happend when I healed. I was a witch, it was natural to me. Only this time something was different. The wounds weren't closing and she didn't start breathing, nor did the blood dissapear. That hadn't ever happened before. I had always been able to heal. My mother especaily because of our close bond. Why was this time different? I collasped on top of her and watched my hair turn brown again as I sobbed lettingtears take away my sorrows. Later after they had taken her body, I cried again, but this time the tears took away the memories of the day my mother died.
