Chapter 3 : .::Bam::.Forever Yours.::Margera::. Two
Jade has taken the liberty of getting her car sent down to Pennsylvania with her. She is sure that she will never go back to that horrid place. She will find a place here and stay here, her home state and her home town, West Chester. All Jade's good friends live down here and she knows that they will welcome her with open arms and make sure she's safe. Especially Brandon DiComillio. He's her closest friend and he always knows how to put a smile on her face and make her laugh even in the dark moments of her life. Like this moment, for example. But, Jade is not so sure that she can even smile after that.
She grabs her luggage and heads out to get her car...
She hesitates on whether she should call or not. She knows that no matter what, they would not turn her away after this. All those guys, Dico, Novak, Raab, Bam and Dunn; they would never send her away. She doesn't even know if she could keep herself together on the phone and she's not in the mood to say anything. So, Jade makes the decision not to call. In a normal situation, it would be polite. When you're in a horrible situation and need someone to hold you, the phone won't give you that.
She tries her best not to start crying on her drive to Bam's place. She's afraid that she'll get blinded by her tears and crash or swerve off the road. Jade has always been good at holding in her feelings and how she won't show on single emotion point in her eyes, but right now, it is hard. It is very hard for her. Then she starts to think about how her grand father used to take care of his problems: drink. Drink till you couldn't feel a God damn thing. She thinks long and hard and slowly, the idea stars growing on her. Drinking does make the physical and emotion pain go away.
"No, don't think about." Jade tells her self in a sharp tone.
"It won't help, I'll just feel worst. Plus, that's not how I want the rest of my life to be. That's how Grandpa John died. Liver Cancer. Don't think that." she keeps telling her self.
Sure, talking to your self, weird but, it helps her right now since no one else is here with her at the moment to tell her not too. Right now, her common sense really needs to be with her. And she's trying to keep it that way.
Brandon, please help me out. She thought to her self in hope and worry.
She drove fast and turned on to that familiar private road of Bam's. She knew Dico lived with him, them being good buddies and all with their Viva La Bam stuff, which sadly isn't airing on TV anymore. Jade loved the show a lot. It was always enjoying watching the boys have their fun, even if she wasn't there. When she lived here, she used to join them in on the fun before Bam got his show...and Jackass the Movie came out.
She pulled up into the drive way of the large manor. Well, she was thinking castle to sum it up in a more correct way. Jade walked up to the door, bag in hand. She took her other hand and hesitantly knocked softly, but loud enough for someone to hear.
She heard foot steps walk to the door and the lock click indicating that the door was now unlocked and the door opened to Bam’s face.
“Jade!” he exclaimed happily.
Jade smiled weekly and that was when Bam’s smile faded. He knew something was wrong and he moved out of the door way to let her in and he noticed her bag.
“Dico!” he shouted for his old friend who rushed into the front room and halted when he saw Jade standing there beside Bam.
“Jade, what’s wrong?” he asked tenderly walking up to her and hugging her gently, as if she was going to break.
She felt hot tears threatening to fall as he started to let go. Dico’s face became angry, “What did the bastard do to you?” he asked with protection and furry.
“Let’s just say that this was the last straw. And Bam,” she started and he looked at her, “I’m sorry for barging in like this. I had n-no w-w-where else to go.” She finished with stutters the tears came down her face, rolling over her pale cheeks.
“Jade, you’re always welcome here. Dico, show her to the guest room.” He said softly before leaving the room.
Dico put his arm around Jade’s shoulders and led her to the guest room. Once they got inside, she took in the surroundings. The room was a deep purple color with black trim. The bed was a simple queen with blankets he matched the room and the bathroom was the same color but simple. Nothing fancy.
“What happened, Jade?” Dico asked, sitting her down on the bed and he sat next to her.
“He tried to rape me, so I punched him and ran. I’ve had enough and I don’t want to go back there. Ever.” She answered, making it simple and short.
She didn’t want to repeat the exact event and she didn’t want Dico to get so furious that he’d do something stupid and illegal to her pig of a step cousin.
Dico searched her face for more, but he just pulled her into a big, comforting hug.
“You’re safe here. You know the guys and I would never let anything happen to you.” He whispered to her, soothing her.
Jade felt a bit better. She knew she would be safe here and she knew that boys would never let anything happen to her. They were all like brothers to Jade, ever since they met. Sure, she had a hard time adjusting to Novak, but she got used to him…after three years of him trying to woo her, but she didn’t give in. She never will.
“C’mon. Let’s go talk Bam and Dunn. Get your mind off things, alright. Bam, actually, has some big news, so let’s go find out what it is.” Dico said and they got up off the bed and left the room and went down to the Pirate Bar.
