"What did you do now?" Shizune asked upon seeing Kimiko come in with Hinata's help. she had been busy healing people all day, exhausted already. "So..." She asked, trying to start a conversation as he started on his third bowl.
"I-It was my fault Shizune-san." Hinata spoke up.
"No, it was all my fault. I had to let my temper take over and take on Neji. Obviously he won."
She laughed softly, inspecting a gash on her forehead and healing it quickly.
"Is it just me or am I getting healed a lot?"
"Mm, other people have been in here a lot more."
She sighed, feeling next to useless.
"I-I should get home." Hinata stuttered.
"Thank you again Hinata-chan." 'I'd probably be lying on the ground dying if you hadn't done something.'
She blushed again and left for the Hyuga mansion.
Naruto burst in. "Kimiko-chan, are you alright!?"
She looked up. "Yeah..why?"
"I heard what Neji did. Man I'm gonna get him this time!" He clenched his fists in rage.
"Its ok, I was asking for it."
"No one asks for a beating like that."
'Well you don't have to put it that way.' "Thanks for your concern Naruto-san. Can I treat you to ramen?"
"Uh oh, you're gonna regret that one." Shizune muttered.
Naruto started jumping around before pulling her to the ramen shack.
He looked up at her, waiting for her to continue.
"...." She went quiet again, getting back to her half eaten ramen. The silence that engulfed them wasn't exactly awkward, but it was comfortable either.
"Still in one piece are you?" Neji taunted, ordering ramen for himself and a brunette with him.
"Neji..." The girl chided, seeing no reason to be hostile. "Hi, I'm TenTen."
"Kimiko." She answered, choosing to ignore Neji. Naruto however wouldn't stand it.
"Shove off Neji." He mumbled, finishing his meal.
Neji scowled, ready to say more before TenTen absorbed him into a conversation of weapons.
She gave her a look of thanks, paying before Naruto could start anything.
