I woke up groggily the next morning. Spike walked out of his room, reading the newspaper. "Will you stop reading that stupid article." I growled Spike shook his head and kept on reading. "Shouldn't you be reading your manga?" "Finished it." He said in a monotone. I glared at him and went into the kitchen to get breakfast. Just as I got out some eggs the doorbell rang. Spike got it, I groaned.
"Can't you wait until after I eat?" I asked the Grim Reaper Guy. He said nothing and handed my roomate the list. "Nina Pyatidad." Spike said ethusiastically
We landed in a small, hot house. Thankfully we met no demons and we quickly got the soul. The rest of the day went pretty normally. "We're going the resturant with Mac and Katie." Spike said mindlessly
I blinked and thought of what they said about me in the article. "Oh... ok then." I slumped down on the couch. "
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall." I sang quietly all the way to the resturant. When we got there Katie and Mac were already there. "Hi Spike! Hey Jac!" They both yelled I waved and said nothing "Hey guys!!" Spike shouted We walked into the resturant and grabbed some food. I got half of what they had and sat down.
"You didn't tell me you were interviewed for the paper." Spike said immediatly My so-called "friends" looked at eachother in alarm "You did?" Katie asked "Yeah! It was hilarious!" I ate silently pretending not to hear anything "Yeah..." Mac said nervously casting a glance over at me. Soon the conversation took a lighter tone and my "anger mangagment." issues were soon forgotten, I still didn't say anything.
Spike and I walked home in silence. Finally Spike broke the silence. "I don't know if you were paying attention but, I challenged Katie and Mac to a fight." I looked up "Seriously?!?" I asked astonished "Yeah, I wanted to see what would happen." He smiled I smiled back and said "Well, there 'gonna get there asses kicked." We both smiled and walked the rest of the way in a happy silence.
The next day I woke up early. Spike was up and eating some eggs. "There's some for you." He said pointing toa pan on the stove. I took some and sat down with Spike. "So, where are we going to beat the crap out of them?" I asked "The gym." He said I smiled
After we ate breakfast and headed off to the gym. By the time we got there Mac and Katie were already there waiting. "Took you long enought." Mac said smiling I glared at him and said "We like to make an entrance." I didn't see Katie until I saw the scimitar in his hand. Spike quickly turned into a sword I picked him up and said "Shall we go inside and get started?"
