Scene 2:
Amanda: (Running towards door) I can’t take this any more! I have to get out! I don’t want to be killed along with everyone else! It’s just too horrible! (Trying to open door)
Seamore: Now calm down, I’m sure we can figure out something. After all, how hard can it be to solve a case? We have a lot of evidence as it is.
Amanda: The door -(pushing harder) It won’t open! We’re trapped! (Starts sobbing)
Seamore: No need to get over emotional. (Tries door) (Shocked) It is locked! Must of locked after the power went out.
Amanda: I don’t want to die! (Being dramatic) (Banging on door)
Seamore: Now stop that! I’m sure there is a way to get out.
Shadow: (Walks up)
Seamore: Hi The.
Shadow: (Waves while pushing door open and walks out)
Amanda: I wouldn’t mind dying in a field of flowers, or in my lovers arms but here! I didn’t know God hated me so much.
Seamore: God doesn’t hate you. Maybe dislike, but never hate. That is what he made Satan for. Now get up, men don’t cry.
Amanda: This one does! (Continues to sob on the floor)
Seamore: You are so hopeless. I’m sure if we can put our heads together we can figure out this problem. And maybe it won’t turn out that bad.
Amanda: (looks up) That bad?! We are locked at the studio-of all places with the Shadow (Creepy music) This is beyond bad! This is-this is- this is VERY bad! So bad, I’m going to continue to cry.
Seamore: (Folds arms) If you keep crying your eye liner will run.
Amanda: (Screams in fright) (Takes mirror out of purse and checks)
Seamore: Now we need to get control of ourselves. Freaking out will not help the problem, it will only make us look like complete idiots.
Amanda: We will not look like complete idiots! This is completely natural under the circumstances.
Shadow: (Walks back in) Hey complete idiots.
Seamore: See.
Amanda: (Goes back to crying)
Seamore: (Bends down next to Amanda) I think we should look over the evidence again.
