"Hello?" Jenn asked groggily as she answered the phone.
"Hey, you wanna meet up for lunch?" her friend Kerry asked on the phone.
"Wha? What time is it?"
"It's 12.30pm, have you been asleep all morning?"
"Oh..yeah" Jenn mumbled,
"who is it?" Nikki groaned and kissed her shoulder.
"it's kez"
"oh..who's that?"
Jenn rolled her eyes, "meet me at the whiskey in half an hour and we'll head off for some" Jenn said.
"okay, we can hang out like old times too if you want, maybe some shopping"
"Great! I'll Cya then" Jenn grinned and hung up.
"I don't want you to go anywhere" Nikki whined.
"I won't be long, only a couple of hours, I just wanna spend some time with my best friend, I haven't done so in ages!!"
"Is it a chick?"
"Of course baby!" she reassured him with a kiss.
"Then, that's okay" he smiled. "but I still don't want you to go" he pouted.
"You're a baby" Jenn smirked.
"Oh yeah, but i'm yours"
"Lemme go shower!"
"Can I join?"
"no, you'll make it 1 hour and a half!"
"Fine"
"Nah nah!!" she ran into the bathroom, showered, got dressed, dried her hair and applied makeup.
Later, Jenn was in front of Kez outside the whiskey a go-go.
"I really have to tell you something! I'm just so nervous about it, he won't like me"
"I'm sure whoever this guy is will like you..now c'mon lets get something to eat and tell me all about him"
"Okay."
Once they got into the restaurant and ordered, Jenn patiently waited for Kez to speak,
"So what's his name?"
"...Vince Neil.."
Jenn nearly fell off the chair, "and you think he won't like you because?"
"He'a a slut magnet, i know. But we've been hanging out a lot for weeks, and I've fallen in love with him, he's so sweet"
"I know but..."
"And there's this rumour going around that you both slept with each other, which pissed me off, but then I realised it is just a rumour"
"We actually did...the other night"
"What?! So I see he doesn't like me" Kerry sighed, "Even if he was mine, he'd be screwing everything that moves, behind my back"
"Yeah hun, I don't think you should take the risk of a broken heart"
"but I love him and it's breaking my heart not being with him!" Kerry protested.
"I know, but you'll get over him, you'll find someone new, someone less slutty"
"Slutty?! Jenn please don't be a bitch"
"Well he is a slut, no one can deny that, even himself"
"Jenn why do you have to be so damn blunt? You know what!!! I'm off to tell Vince my feelings and I don't give a rats ass what you or anything else thinks!" Kez yelled, causing some stares, and stormed out.
"Kez, wait!" Jenn cried and chased her out.
"What's the big secret Jenn?! Does he want you? And not me?"
"Kez, calm down. I'm with Nikki"
"Surprise Surprise"
"Kez, you're embarrassing yourself"
"Jenn, shut up! I'm off to Vince's so bye!" she hailed a cab.
Once she was away, Jenn just walked home.
