xxWhen the sun got drowsy and began to go down that day, Elliot sat under the tree with a book and enjoyed the company of Ryan. "What do you see in the sunset?" The sudden question cought Ryan off guard and made him think twuce before answering, "It's just beautiful." His reply was short and normally sweet to any girls other then Elliot, all she did was snort and closed her book with a snap. "Have you ever heard of speaking up - saying your own opinion? What I mean is, what do you see in the colors?" Ryan suddenly flinched at that, not aware that such a quiet girl could give off that strong of an attitude, but he did keep in mind that things could come with surprises. Inhaling deeply, Ryan turned to look at the sunset, his mind coming to a blank. "Come on, use your head." Elliot urged on, hoping to hear a clever answer from the man. After a few short minutes, Elliot frowned and started for her book, "I see a life long story, one of adventures and happiness - a world that will become better in time." Though this wasn't what Elliot planned to hear but she still smiled and Ryan found himself going a shade of pink. "I see honesty and happiness though it clouds over with regret and anger - a world that is suffering adn won't get better. The sunset tells me that there is no hope for this world and the people in it. It makes me sad to think that the sunset means another day ends - you get a little closer to death." Her voice was void of emotion and her thoughts ran wild, aware that she didn't have a life meaning it wouldn't matter if the day ends. Unlike herself, Ryan's face was surprised and his hazel eyes were full of curiosity - wondering how such a sweet and young girl could be so depressing. "The story of the sunset reveals that you should use the life God gave you." Another tear of Elliots heart.
xxThat night, Ryan laid in his bed, thinkingof why Elliot looked so distant while talking with him, it seemed like she was a dead and useless sould - it seemed like she knew that, somehow. "Brendon, we need to get Elliot out of here." And then he went to bed after sharing some ideas with the sly and adorable Brendon. His obsession was growing into something he would not be able to control yet he was stupidly not aware of this. His dreams longed for her pale skin to be touched by his, his fingers neatly trailing down her arm while she slept, his shadow hovering above hers as if he were a monster and his hot breath slowly making Elliots eyes flutter yet not open. Then he found his lips trailing sweet kiddes down her face but before his dreams went wild and into his own imagination, he awoke with a start, his usually clean skin making him feel dirty with sweat - a sudden guilt rushed through hum making his hands clench his hair in frusteration. Even though he tried not to think about it, he wanted Elliot all for himself. "Maybe I should lock the door so she could only have me." HE muttered to himself before going back to his dreams of the girl that had no interest in him.
xxElliot laid in bed that mlorning, thinking about her dream. The touch made her flinch and the moans made her fun and the sweet calling of his name made her fall. Biting her lip out of frusteration, Elliot growled to herself, trying to distract her from those dreams that she kept dinying. How could she have an interest in Ryan Ross? The girl who was known to ignore the world and watch it pass by. Sure, Elliot was a thoughtful sixteen year old and Ryan was too, but he was far too old for her being twenty one himself. Thankfully her phone rang and distracted her from her head mind. And so two hours later, Elliot sat next to Ryan in Brendon's old car as the others had a conversation. "So, how're you?" Ryan was never good at making conversations with people - with girls. He always was too shy and chicken, afraid to get rejected or laughed at but he knew that Elliot wouldn't do that to him. "I'm fine, a little tired though." She replied without looking up from her book - seeming not to have an interest in talking with someone at the moment.
xx"No Ryan, I'm not going in there." She silently hissed underneath her breath, afraid that he would make her go in the water. With a grin, Ryan seemed to ignore her protests and against her will threww her into the pool. When the girl reserfaced, her eyes went wide and she instantly swam to the side of the pool. "You ass!" It was quite unforunate that her yell was drowned out by the splashing of the water and squealing kids. "What was that again Ms. Carter?" A wide smile lingered on Ryan's oale pink lips making Elliot scowl, turn around, and walk away out of the pool area. You know, the girl really did think that Ryan would follow her around and apologize; he didn't. While the boys were having fun at the pool, Elliot sat down in the sun trying to dry herself off. To tell the truth, she didn't know why she had gotten so mad at him for pushing her, the boys did set this up just for her and she didn't even care. Elliot was a selfish brat that would always get what she wanted - though she didn't realize it. Yes, she did have her family call her that before but she didn't really know if they meant it or if they were just messing around like usual, but if you observed her clearly, you'd notice; Ryan did. Ryan saw how rude, selfish, and uncaring she was - he picked out her flaws. Yet, he saw how cute, shy, andbeautfil she was and if he repeated them over and over off his tongue, they would somehow out way her flaws and make Ryan fall for her harder. While Ryan was having a blast with his friends, Elliot was sitting down readin the same book outside, waiting for the day to end and watching her life grow shorter.
