Sorry, for those of you that had to wait-here it is! Rate and message-Enjoy! :]
Part Three: The stars shone brightly, as if in a distant light viewing the world with its small twinkling lights. The darkness once again enveloped all that it sought, leaving no trace of any living species to move. The breeze was slow, gentle as if it lost all it's energy, as if it were dead... No noise could be heard apart from a echo of bells in the eerie distnace, no one was alive or left wondering in their path. No sooner would many come and kill, it seemed as if the Devil itself was playing and dancing in their shadows. Frozen. Cold and lost, the minds rendeered into broken images left among the bitter past. No one cared...not for them or anything else around them... When screams ring in the air and blood flows freely from the victims' bodies, with no one left breathing or what seems to be an eternity of silence... The Akatsuki are here... xxx In the far off light of the dawn of the third day of entering the Void country, they'd arrived to the near heart of it's land, in the heart of this country stood the proud and artistic Moon village. The breeze had since then become slightly stronger, dark clouds loomed over the village itself, a downpour was to expected. Maybe that was what was needed to relieve the tension of what was to come in the meeting within the next few hours. A wall of thirty-forty metres surrounded the whole village, guards were stood at the top patrolling, making it practically impossible for any Ninja to attempt to breach the village. Itachi looked over at the entrance, even that seemed to be a little daunting, the gate of emmaculate design and considerable height was guarded by Ninja on the outside and most likely on the inside too. Both the men made their way slowly towards their destination, not rushing, just seemingly taking their time, knowing they wouldn't be leaving the village for a good few months, left them on edge and a little annoyed. The guarding Ninja appeared very posh, causing Itachi and Kisame to glance down at themselves, they didn't feel as though they were dressed good enough for Lord Kuragari's taste. Well, they can just lump it, this is how we always dress and don't change it for no one, Kisame thought on a little growl to himself, sure as anything he hated busy places, they always had people staring at him. Not that he weren't used to it by now, or entirely bothered by it, he kust felt like snapping their heads off for staring all the time-didn't people know it's rude to stare? "Kisame-san, don't get too side-tracked." Itachi muttered in a dark whisper, not even looking up at him from under his hat. Kisame struggled to hear what his partner said, for one thing Itachi was shorter than himself, he was usually a quiet person, the wind was blowing harder than it did a few hours before and he was so taken up with his own thoughts, he didn't bother to just focus on the situation ahead. Ah well, at least they'd be in a nice bed, with decent food to eat, surely nothing could compare to that? "State your business!" The guarding Ninja to the right spoke first, his voice a clear order, he didn't seem afraid, foolish, didn't he know who they were? Probably not. Then maybe it was about time they did know them and show a little respect. "We're the bodyguards assigned here by Lord Kuragari, we're from the Akatsuki, now let us in." Kisame retorted, already hating the stupid guards infront of him, why do so many people ask questions? "Your ID." The guard to the left spoke now, he was shorter than the other guard, but none of them altogether matched Kisame's height. Itachi dwelved into his small bag on his back, then chucked it at the guard, glaring at him coldly. "Take your Kasa's off." He asked them, giving them suspicious stares, only the other guard to the right remained silent and just glared at both of them. They removed their hats, stod tall and didn't faulter, when the guard to the right gasped slightly, no doubt disturbed and creaped out by Kisame's appearance and Itachi's now crimson eyes that bore into their gazes, freezing them to the spot in fear and slight revulsion. The left guard nodded his white face slowly, then handed them back and said "You may enter, you are to report to the Kuragari's housing estates, ask the guards inside if you aren't sure..." They just nodded slightly, once the guards pushed the huge wooden doors open, they made their way inside the decorative village. xxx Lord Kashikoi Kuragari was sat in his expensive office, going over some paperwork of the next meeting with the rest of the Kuragari clan. He'd been sat cooped up in his office for nearly most of the morning. His office was expensive, as was to be expected from being the second son, third born into the Kuragari clan. Most of his furniture in the office was made of oak, the chairs were made of leather, books in the bookshelf were also leather-bound and the carpet on the floor was a deep crimson red. He took a gulp of his tea, then resting it back down, he glanced towards a picture of his small family; himself, his wife and his daughter, in the picture it'd been his birthday, a small celebration had been held in place, including on family members, then another was held a few days after for friends only. He sighed dramatically, leaning back in his black, leather, swivel chair he stared at the ceiling as he let his head fall backwards in slight defeat. He couldn't remember the last time he'd spent some quality time with his daughter, though he loved her just as much as his wife, his work and his duty often took himself from her. He sat up straight and came to a conclusion; I will spend a few hours with her tonight after dinner, we can do anything she wishes. Kashikoi smiled to himself and just as he was continuing with his depressingly important paperwork a small tap was heard at the huge oak door to his office. He grimaced, he wasn't expecting anyone...unless... He threw his pen down on top of his report and said loudly "Yes. Come in." The door opened a little, his daughters maid poked her head around the doorway, then pushing it open she came in, bowed deeply and said "My Lord, the bodyguards you'd asked for from the Akatsuki, have arrived, shall I show them in?" Finally! They'd arrived, he let out a long sigh of relief, now he wouldn't have to worry so much for the safety of his daughter. "No. My wife shall bring them here, tell her to show them through, you will go back and remain with my daughter. That is all." He dismissed Ko, she bowed deeply once again and left the room, closing the expensive humungous door behind herself. Lord Kashikoi picked up his cup, finished his tea, then pushed it to the fat-side of his desk, as he decided to finish his report quickly, knowing his wife would be ever more suspicious than he possibly could, if there ever was a person to lie-she'd be one of the first people to know about it. xxx Itachi and Kisame were seated in what was to be thought of as a waiting room, though it looked much to expensive and decorative for that. The family must be quite wealthy if they could afford to have pristine furniture, many famous paintings and fine china stacked on display in a huge glass cabinet in the corner of the room. They were both sat kneeling on the floor, they'd not long removed their shoes, cloaks, hats and belongings, the maid had taken their possessions and placed it in their room. They were just finishing their tea, when a beautiful woman stepped into the room, her age was unreadable as was her expression, though that swiftly changed to a small smile. "Welcome. I am Lady Menmitsu Kuragari, mistress of this househols, it is a great joy to meet you." Lady Kuragari bowed slightly to them in respect. They too bowed back, but more deeply in showing their own respects "Thank you." Itachi forced himself to mutter calmly. Courtesy and manners were not of the S-class criminals agenda, though they had to show respect to their Leader-sama, they never used manners or anything of the sort. "I take it you've had a very long and tiring journey, you may go to your rooms, but first my husband, the man whom seeked your assistance would wish to meet you." She placed her hands one on top of the other upon her lap, as she seemed to be staring at them rather intently, as if she were trying to read their minds. Both Itachi and Kisame nodded, but it was Kisame who answered "Very well." She didn't get to her feet, yet still delayed further as she began asking many questions, which not only set Kisame on edge, but also slightly made Itachi wish he could have five minutes peace to himself. "How do you find our village? Surely it is different to the ones you've seen across your travels?" She glanced to the side, out of the open door to the massive garden left on display to them. The flowers in the garden were bright and big, there was a pond, quite wide and looked very deep and dark, a small fountain was situated underneath a tree to the far right of the garden, the lucious green grass appeared very soft and cut accurately. This not only daunted the two men but also made them give all of the expensive belongings, the beautiful decor, the effort it had taken for every single piece of normality placed upon a pedastal and made into something that didn't need to be fused over with a cold glare. They weren't used to such formality, wealth and manners, normally they just did what they did best-their missions, which normally led to them killing others. "It's very...different..." Itachi failed miserably at his attmept of a decent answer, though he didn't seem to care much at all about that. "Uhh...it's very arty..." Kisame tried and almost failed as well at trying to find a postive word that fitted the village. Though they both could've picked from loads of descriptive words that could almost impress the mistress of the house, impressed employers, would mean that they'd like you, which would conclude that they'd leave you alone to do your job. This woman was exactly the opposite of that-which both surprised and annoyed the Hell out of them. "Yes, it is, many famous artisans have come from far and wide to live here and continue with their work. I'd say this village has probably the most it could gain in the ways of culture, but ultimately it can get boring." She muttered, as she looked back at them again. They remained utterly silent. "You know of the job at hand?" She asked a little more interested, awaiting their reply with bated breath. "Yes." They both answered calmly, she sighed a little and smiled again, she stood and gesturing to them, they stood as well, as she murmured "I shall take you to see my husband now." They left the spacious room, and followed the Lady of the house along to the Lord's office. On their way there they both admired the paintings and other decorative pieces left on show in each of the winding corridors, that led to rooms unknown to them. "I hope you will protect my daughter with your lives." She said to them, as they moved around a corner and continued down yet another seemingly endless hallway. "We will." Itachi murmured coolly, wondering why the mistress of the house was bringing up matters which were already discussed between themselves and their leader, back at the base. She stopped once they were outside a huge door and said "You may enter, our maid; Ko, will show you around once you've finished matters with my husband, I'm sure you're desperate for a nice bath and a comfy bed?" They both bowed deeply, thanking her, she smiled slightly then left them, to face her daunting husband by themselves. To be continued...
