“Your total is $453.15” she said eyeing sage, so while sage was his whole credit card thingy I took his hand and intertwined my fingers with his. Sage looked up and smiled while the cashier lady looked down and frowned when bagging the clothes. I grabbed 3 of the bags while sage grabbed the other 4. And yes, it did take 7 really big bags filled to the rim to hold all the clothes. I followed sage out of the store and down to a bench where he sat the bags down.

“I’m going to spend all of your money, you know that, right?” I said looking down at all the bags and then up at all the stores.

“I don’t think you could spend all of my money in one day. But anyway I wouldn’t care. As long as it makes you happy.” He said in that incredibly sweet voice that I love. I quickly closed the gap between us and wrapped my arms around his neck, and he held onto me by my waist. I slightly jumped at the temperature of his hands but soon got over it. I laid my head on his chest and he set his chin on my head.

“So, what store do you want to go to next?” he asked out of no where.

“well…I need bras and underwear, so Victoria’s secret?”

“oh, okay then.” He grabbed his bags and I grabbed mine and we headed down the direction the sign said. Soon enough we were standing in front of Victoria’s Secret. I walked in with sage following slowly, he was feeling out of place, I could tell. I went around and got 5 black bras, 4 white, 4 beige, 1 blue, 1 purple and 1 green with purple polka dots on it. Then I got to the underwear section. I grabbed 6 thongs in different colors, and 7 bikini styled panties in different colors. Sage stayed at the door when I went in so I grabbed him and brought him up to the counter.

“is this all you’ll be buying today?” she asked with a fake Barbie doll smile.

“yes” I said and she rang everything up. Sage paid like last time, but he was more eager to got out of the store this time, I barley had time to grab the bag.

“So now that were done with that do you want to get shoes?” he asked as soon as we were 20 feet from the entrance to Victoria’s Secret.

“yeah, do they have a vans or converse here?” I asked

“we have a converse, and its just down the strip.” He said heading off in the direction, I followed and had to run to catch up.

“Sage wait!” I yelled loud enough for him to hear. He instantly slowed down and waited for me.

“what was that for?” I said catching my breath.

“sorry, I just don’t like Victoria’s Secret it makes me feel uncomfortable.” I kissed him on the cheek and said:

“I’m sorry sage, if you would have told me I would have went faster for you.” He kissed my forehead and smiled.

“You’re so sweet. Now let’s finish shopping before it gets too late.” We walked to the converse store with are arms intertwined. We entered the store and it was really cold compared to the rest of the mall, so I zipped sages coat up half way and pulled it tighter around my body. We walked around and I found a pair of basic black high tops, a red pair of low tops and a pair of bright neon blue high tops. We went up to the cash register and as usual Sage paid with his credit card. We walked around the mall for a while until my stomach started growling.

“Sage, I’m hungry.” I wined

“let get food then.” He said and I smiled

I got up and threw away my food and when I got back sage was standing up and acting weird, he was looking around and sniffing the air.

“Raine, we have to go now” he said his voice protective but stern.

When Raine got up and threw away the rest of her food I smelled something strange, and stood up right away. It was a vampire, but not just any vampire. My brother; Daniel. Raine was walking back and she noticed me standing up. I looked around to see if I could find him, then I found his scent, he wasn’t too far away from us.

“Raine, we have to go now.” I said looking at her

“why?” she asked.

“I’ll tell you in the car.” We gabbed our bags and headed out of the mall.
