I knocked gently on his dorm door. "Oh god, what am i doing?" i thought to myself. "Who's there" a voice said from inside. "It's me...Cecilia." I waited for a moment when the door opened revealing Edmund still in his school uniform looking slightly skeptical. "I-come in." he barley chocked out. I walked in past him as he turned around to face me. "So is there something that you wanted?" he asked a bit icily. "Uhh, yeah, um..." I stuttered a bit taken back by his tone.
He raised an eyebrow and i noticed something was different. "You see...I uh, wanted to give your book back! yes that's all." I said quickly realizing i had not brough the book with me. Smart cecilia, real smart! He won't think your weird at all. I was so nervous about coming to his dorm to return the book, I completely forgot to even bring it. I gave myself a mental smack in the head.
He crossed his arms. "Oh really?" he said stepping forward towards me, "Well, yes i must have left it in my dorm." I mumbled unable to look away from his locked eyes. He continued to get closer as i took a step back. "That's not really why came here, is it?" he said sternly, as i was suddenly aware of how close we were to each other. "Yeah.." was the only thing i could conjure up to say. I began to feel incredibly uncomfortable.
"Hmm." he said, and before i could even react he had me pinned, my wrists locked against the wall. I stared at his eyes mesmerized almost as if his gaze had frozen my body and left me unable to move. "Why did you really come here?" he breathered his face close to mine, which i had always imagined to be much more pleasant encounter, but all i could feel was a pit of unease resting in my chest. "Let me go." I breathed hardly audible to even myself. He smirked his lips hovering before mine; I could smell his icy breath.
You may be wondering how i got into this situation. The names Cecilia, Cecilia Waters. I'm a junior in RedWood Boarding School in Chicago Illinois. My parents had sent me here to learn discipline after getting caught drinking at a crazy end-of-the-year party. I'm not too much of a party animal, but i do know how to have a good time. But apparently to my parents i was becoming a bad egg. After my move, my life was never the same again...for the good?
He stole my heart and won't give it back 1
