'Hey Lacey.'I said into my iPhone.
'Corii!Hows New Hampshire?'She asked.I shrugged, not really realizing she couldn't see it.
'Good.It's alright.'I said.
'Hmm.Thats cool.Do you have a room mate?'She asked.
'Yep.Her names Shelby.She's really cool.'I said.'And she likes Hannah Montana.Alot.'I said.
'Ouch.Have fun with that.'She said.I laughed.Shelby was listening, so I had to make it sound like a good thing.
'Yeah, it's really interesting having a friend who likes her.'I said, not lying.It was interesting.I'd been here a day, and I already knew practically all the words to Rockstar by Hannah Montana.
'I bet.Anyways, Joe-JOE STOP!-Joe wants to talk to you-PATIENCE!-he misses you-JOE!HERE GODDAMNIT!-'The phone rustled around a bit, then Joes voice came on.
'CORII!'He screamed.I laughed as Shelby looked up in shock.Apparently she had heard it.I didn't think she would, she was deeply immersed in a book called Twilight.I had already read it, as well as it's sequel New Moon.I was almost done Eclipse.
'Hey Joey.'I said.
'Hey!None of that!'He said.
'Joe, don't wag your finger, she can't see you!'I heard Lacey say.I laughed.
'Sorry Joe.Whats up back in LA?'I asked.
'Meh.Boring without you.Londons taking over the squad, even though she's not even co-head anymore.'He said.London was the old co-head cheerleader, back when I had been head.She hated me, and was always trying to take the head spot away.
'Then stop her.Tell Lacey if she doesn't do her job, she's fired.'I teased.He laughed.
'Lacey, Corii says if you don't stop London, you're fired.'I heard him say.
'HEY!'Lacey yelled.I laughed.
'It's all jokes.Listen, I gotta go.Shelbs wants to go to Starbucks.She says reading on the couch there is much more comfortable than here.'I said, rolling my eyes.Shelby stuck her tounge out at me.
'Ha ha,alright.Bye Corii.Kevin and Nick say hi.'Joe said.
'Hi Kevin!'I said.He laughed at the fact that I didn't include Nick.
'Bye Corii.'Joe said.
'Bye!'I hung up my phone, and shoved it into my pocket.
'Lets go.'I said, grabbing the black and red book off the table.I was going to read Eclipse there.Most likely finish it too.Then I would go and put Breaking Dawn, the sequel that wasn't out yet, on hold at the local book store.I couldn't wait for it to come out.Me and Shelby walked out of the dorm room, and I locked it behind us before putting the key into my pocket.I needed to get some sort of clip for it.We chatted all the way to the elevator, and through the lobby onto the street.I stuck my hand out, and a taxi stopped almost immediatly.I had done this everytime we needed a cab, and I was getting better.We got into the taxi.
'Hey.Starbucks on Third.'I said to the man.He nodded and started driving.
'So what part are you at?'I asked Shelby.
'James is killing Bella.'She said.I laughed.
'Cool.'
'How about you?'She asked.I looked at her.'Yeah, I wouldn't know.'She shook her head.I laughed and shook mine too.
'Here we are ma'am.'The drive said.I nodded and handed him the money I had in my hand.We grabbed our books, and walked into the Starbucks.
'Uhm, I'll just have a tall hot chocolate.'Shelby said.She paid as he yelled it to the person making the drinks.
'I'll have a tall double chocolaty chip frap.'I said, handing him the money.He nodded and yelled it again.We walked over, grabbed our drinks, and walked over to the vacant couch.
And so we sat for the next three hours, drinking our drinks, and reading our books.
'I think we should go..'I said, looking up to see the empty cafe.She nodded, and we stood up.I threw out my long since empty cup, and walked outside into the warmth.We hailed a cab, and got in for the short ride back to the school.We walked up the steps, into the elevator, and threw the hallway without making a sound.
'I'm gonna just call someone really quickly.I'll be right in.'I said.She nodded and walked into the room.I pulled out my phone, and dialed Joes number.It rang a few times, then his voice came on.
'Hey, you've reached DJ DANGAH!I'm not in the crib at the moment, so just gimme a shout, and I'll get back to you when I'm back.Peace!'His message said, his voice all gangster.I rolled my eyes, and hung up without leaving a message.The door opened and Shelby appeared.
'Corii, do you have any idea why a long haired bastard is in our room?'She asked, an irritated look on her face.I opened the door, and walked in.
'Hey Cor.'
'Oh dear Joe...'I muttered, smacking a hand to my forehead.
