Little Emily Quilt lived in one of the worst nighborhood in all of London, the poor dear.
In fact, shedidn't livetoo far from a certain Charlie Bucket, the winner of the infamous Willy Wonka Contest three years ago.
Now Little Emily Quilt wasn't exactly that little anymore, for she was nearing the age of thirty and almost 5'7. Growing up, Emily's family was very poor indeed, and even with her parents moving away and leaving Emily alone in her childhood home, her financal situation never got any better.
Perhaps, she often thought, it was because of the careerpath she had chosen in life. You see, Emily had a strong passion for the arts (except writing, the poor soul couldn't write a paragraph without doing something wrong). She was a painter, dancer and a singer. How Emily loved to spend her time painting her dreams, different places and people she knew. How she would enchant the her fellow nighborhood friends when she put up one of her little performances of a new song and dance routine every so often.
In fact, many of the houses in the area had some of the artwork Emily made just for them.
Yes, for many years Emily the shining star and role modelof her community, so it was no wonder the Charlieinvited Emily to his houseto play everytime they both got the chance, to him, she was the coolest adult in the world. Excepting, of couse, his mentor Willy Wonka the Amazing Chocolatier.
