Starlight and Dewdrops [Brendon Urie]--06
Chapter 5 : Starlight and Dewdrops [Brendon Urie]--10
As soon as Brendon unlocked the door and opened it a little, I grabbed his hand and gently pulled him out.
"Brendon, look at me." I demanded softly, needing to get this out of the way.
I just could NOT have him thinking that I would ever, in a million years, do anything in a bunk with Pete Wentz other than actually sleep.
He was a second brother to me, for goodness sakes!
"What?" Brendon asked, rather offensively, finally looking down at me.
"Brendon, I really...I just can't believe that you think I would – that's just gross, man." I started, trying to say one to many things at the same time.
I could see a little lift in the corner of his mouth and I was reminded again how amazing his lips were...
But he still looked confused.
"Look, last night I got homesick, if you will, and snuck out to their bus. Pete's like a brother to me...gross..." I shivered to add effect. "We used to do that back at home, since we were little kids...please don't think that I would ever...Ok?"
I bit my lip and held tightly onto Brendon's hands, hoping he would finally believe me.
If he didn't then I would have to get Pete to talk him out of this.
Brendon was silent for one too many seconds and I dropped his hands in defeat.
This was such a small deal, why was it blowing up into a huge deal?
I sighed and looked down, but was thoroughly surprised when I felt his hands cup my face and his lips were pressed against mine.
It was a short kiss, but it felt much longer to me; more like hours instead of the two seconds.
"Don't worry, I believe you." Brendon whispered as he pulled away.
He winked at me and then shut himself back in the bathroom. A minute later, I head the shower running and he started humming some song.
I stood there, completely stunned.
Did Brendon Urie just kiss me?
The Brendon Urie just kissed me?
Maybe I need a reality check or something because that was completely unexpected!
Slowly, I turned around and saw Ryan was grinning at me.
"Did that just happen?' I asked faintly, blinking a few times.
Ryan's grin grew even wider.
"I think it just did, Tay."
I couldn't keep the smile off my face after that.

In the FOB bus, Patrick was busy tempting Pete out of his bunk with some pancakes.
Joe watched, slightly amused but more disturbed than anything else.
"Come on, Pete. They're homemade..." Patrick lied through his teeth to the sleepy Pete, whose hand was trying to grab at the frozen, boxed pancakes.
"Gimme..." Pete muttered.
He finally crawled out of the bunk, looked around for some homemade pancakes, and made a lunge for Patrick when he saw the frozen ones.
"You fucking liar!" Pete roared, started after the squealing Patrick, but Joe stepped in his way.
"We need to talk, man."
