I woke up in the morning to a massive headache. I looked around my room, and saw Joe sleeping on my floor.
Then, I started thinking about last night. Dancing, drinking, hooking up with Nate on accident, Nick getting mad and basically breaking up with me.
I sat up in my bed, as Chase walked into the room.
“Hi,” I said.
“Hey.”
“Did everything I never wanted to happen, happen last night?” I asked. Chase didn’t say anything, he just nodded.
I sighed, and felt tears threatening my eyes, but I held them in. Joe rolled over, and looked up at me. He smiled and got up, walking out of my room.
“Jes is here, if you want to talk to her.” Chase said. “Do you want me to go get her?”
I nodded, knowing that if I said anything, tears would come pouring down my cheeks. He stood up and walked out of my room. As soon as he shut my door, I laid down in my bed, tears slowly rolling down my cheeks.
My door was re-opened, and I looked up to see Jes walking in my room. “Hey hunnie. How are you doing?”
I didn’t say anything, instead, I burst into tears, and within two seconds, Jes was by my side, pulling me into a hug.
I stayed in my room, crying into Jes’ shoulder, for approximately 2 hours. I know what you’re thinking, Get over it! Yeah, I would, but I can’t.
“I’m hungry,” I said, sitting up. Jes nodded, and we walked downstairs, hand in hand. That was our thing, hand in hand. [:
I walked down the stairs and saw Kevin, Joe, Nick and Chase sitting on the couches, all of them talking.
Jes went to sit with them, and I let go of her hand. She looked at me with pleading eyes, but I looked at her with the Are-you-out-of-your-mind? look. She sighed and sat down, while I rubbed my eyes and walked into the kitchen.
I grabbed an apple out of the fridge, washed it under cold water, and went to grab a knife from the drawer. Well, me being the retard I am, I stuck my hand in the drawer not looking, and stabbed myself.
“SHIT!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. No more than three seconds later, I was surrounded by Jes and four guys.
“What happened?” Kevin asked, panicking.
“I accidentally stabbed myself,” I said, moving them out of the way from the sink.
I turned on the water and put my finger under it, wincing at the pain. When all the blood was washed away, I turned around and saw that Nick was the only person left in the kitchen, and he was holding the bandage for my finger.
I sighed, and he put it on for me, without saying a word. I started to walk back out of the kitchen, when Nick spoke up. “Cas, can we talk?”
I turned around and looked at him, and nodded my head. I walked back up the stairs, with Nick following.
“WOOH!” Joe yelled. “Be careful, you two! And Nick, don’t be silly, wrap your willy!”
I rolled my eyes and heard Joe yell, “OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!!?”
I smirked, knowing that Kevin or Chase just smacked him upside the head. I walked into my room and sat down on my bed, while Nick took a chair.
“So,” I started.
“What happened last night?” Nick asked.
“Well,” I sighed. “After you said you were going outside, Jes and I had a couple drinks. I couldn’t see straight, and I couldn’t even stand up. Then I felt someone’s arms around me. I turned around and saw curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and thinking it was you, I kissed the guy. And then we went upstairs, which by the way, was not my idea.”
“And?” Nick asked.
Tears that I tried to hold back were now flowing down my face. “And the guy kissed me, and I kissed back, and we were making out. Then he pulled my dress off of me, and I pulled his shirt off of him.”
Nick looked disappointed, but I continued. He needed to know. “And we kept making out, until he started kissing my neck. And he hit a spot, and I said your name. He stopped and looked up and me, like shocked, and out of nowhere, my vision cleared up, and I saw that it wasn’t you. It was N-Nate. Right when I realized it wasn’t you, I jumped out of my bed and started looking for my dress. I found it, and when I was about to put it on, you walked in.”
“And you were going to pretend like nothing happened?” he asked.
“I-I don’t know,” I sighed, putting my head in my hands.
Without saying another word, Nick got up and walked out of my room, leaving me there, wishing he would have stayed.
