We walked to the boys’ dorm rooms. “Wait, isn’t the door going to be locked?” I asked.
“No.” Tenten said. “Kankuro had to pick the lock to get out, so it’s probably still unlocked.”
“Oh yeah.” I said. We opened the door and walked through the halls toward Naruto’s room. We stopped in front of room 291. Temari knocked on the door. There was no answer. Temari knocked harder on the door. No answer. Tenten kicked the door. No answer. Temari and Tenten both kicked the door. No answer.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Temari muttered. She pulled out her phone and dialed Naruto’s number. “Hello…Naruto open the door…just open it…hurry up…just get your ass out of bed and open the damn door!” Temari whisper-shouted and then hung up the phone. 15 seconds later the door opened.
“Took you long enough.” Tenten muttered. We all piled into Naruto’s room.
“Why do you guys always come to my room when you get locked out of the dorm rooms?” Naruto asked.
“Because…well actually I don’t know.” Tenten said.
“It’s probably because we’re always hanging out in your dorm room.” Temari said.
“Well you guys can’t all sleep here, there’s not enough room, besides if people come looking for you again, you can’t all fit in my closet like last time. Three people barely fit, I doubt you can squeeze in a fourth.” Naruto said.
“Hey, are you calling me fat?” I asked.
“Of course not!”
“Good.”
“So what do you want us to do Naruto?” Tenten asked.
“Well, Hinata and you can stay here and Temari and Rayne can go stay at Sasuke’s or something.” Naruto said. Temari and I looked at each other.
“Alright.” I said. “C’mon Temari.” We both walked toward the door.
“Naruto, a-are you s-sure it’s okay i-ff me and T-tenten stay h-here?” Hinata asked.
“Of course Hinata!” Naruto said with a smile. Hinata fainted. “Uhh…” Naruto just stared at her unconscious body. He looked up at us. “Would you guys mind telling me why you’re covered with paint?” Temari and I both stopped walking and turned around.
“Ino.” Everybody said except for Hinata who was laying unconscious on the floor. Temari and I turned back around and walked out of the dorm room. We walked to room 290.
“Naruto and Sasuke live next to each other?” I asked.
“Yeah.” Temari said. She knocked on the door. 10 seconds later Sasuke opened the door.
“What do you guys want?” Sasuke asked.
“We need to stay over the night, do you mind?” I asked.
“No, wait, how’d you guys even get here?”
“Long story.” Temari and I said at the same time. Sasuke opened the door wider and we walked inside, he closed the door and locked it. We sat down in a circle on the bed.
“You guys going to tell me why you’re covered with paint?” Sasuke asked.
“Do you have a mirror?” I asked. Sasuke stared at me. “I want to see how bad I look.”
“There’s a mirror in the closet.” Temari and I walked to the closet.
“Would you mind telling me why you have a mirror?” Temari asked.
“It was here when I moved in.” Sasuke said.
“Sure.” I said. I looked at Temari, we both started cracking up, then we looked at ourselves in the mirror. “Jeez, there’s paint like everywhere.” We spent a few minutes standing in front the mirror staring at ourselves, making jokes, and laughing our heads off.
“Well are you guys going to tell me?” Sasuke said. We turned to look at him, walked back to the bed, and once again sat down in a circle.
“Well…I got this text-” I began.
“And it said meet me at the front of the school-” Temari said.
“In 10 minutes-”
“So we decided to go see who it was.”
“We got Kankuro to-”
“Pick the locks to let us get-“
“Out of the dorm buildings-“
“The payment was for-“
“Can we skip the payment part?!” I said.
Temari sighed. “Fine, anyways, we-“
“Wait!” Sasuke said. We looked at him. “I want to hear the payment part.”
“Hell no.” I said.
“You either tell me or you get kicked out.”
“I’ll risk getting kicked out.” I said. “I can always stay with Kiba or Gaara.”
“She had to kiss Kankuro.” Temari blurted out.
“TEMARI!!!” I said.
“Sorry!! I couldn’t help it.” I glared at Temari and then Sasuke laughed. Temari and I both stared at him.
“Sasuke-” I said.
“Actually-” Said Temari.
“Laughed!” We shouted together. He abruptly stopped laughing.
“Continue with your story.” He said calmly.
“So where were we, oh yeah. We went to the front of the school.” I said.
“And we waited for like hours.” Temari said.
“And then these water balloons fell on us.”
“And then Ino showed up.”
“She said that she was giving us payback.”
“And then she turned to left.”
“And told us to watch out for the paint.”
“But we were confused by what she meant.”
“Actually you guys were confused, I warned you to move.” Temari glared at me.
“Well we didn’t move fast enough.”
“So paint landed on us.”
“So you guys come to stay here, in the boys’ dorms, instead of going back to the girls’ dorms?” Sasuke asked.
“The door was locked.” I said.
“So we came over here to stay with Naruto.” Temari said.
“But how’d you get in the boys’ dorms?” Sasuke asked.
“Kankuro had already picked the lock, duh.” Temari and I said.
“Anyways, I am so tired.” I said.
“Me too.” Temari agreed.
“You guys can share the bed, I’ll sleep on the floor or something.” Sasuke said.
“Are you sure Sasuke? Temari and I can sleep on the floor.” I said. Temari slapped me. “Oww, what was that for?”
“I am not sleeping on the floor.” Temari said.
I turned back to Sasuke. “Or you can share a bed with Temari.” Temari slapped me again. “On second thought, you should probably sleep on the floor.”
“Well good night everybody.” I Sasuke said while finding a comfortable position on the floor.
“Good night you guys.” I said while crawling into Sasuke’s bed.
“Back at you.” Temari said while crawling into Sasuke’s bed, then she stopped. “I just realized.”
“What?” Sasuke and I asked.
“We’re going to bed in clothes that are covered with paint.”
I sighed. “Just go to bed Temari.” Sasuke stood up, went to his closet and threw some clothes at us.
“Here.” He said. We picked up his clothes and headed towards his closet. “Why are you guys going to the closet?” he asked.
“Sasuke, we don’t need a pervert watching us change.” I said.
“Hey I’m not a-“ Sasuke shouted, but Temari and I were already in the closet and we slammed the door shut. We started changing into his clothes.
“Sasuke is being awfully nice.” Temari said.
“I know.” I agreed.
“I swear to god, I think he likes you Rayne.”
“Shut up Temari.”
“No really, I think he does.”
“Why?”
“I just have this feeling, besides I’ve seen the way he looks at you, he never looks like that at anybody.”
“Well then maybe he just doesn’t like me or something.”
“Psh, name one guy in this school who isn’t turned on whenever they see you.”
“Iruka.”
“Teachers don’t count.”
“Well, I don’t know. Ugh his pants are too big.” There was an awkward silence and then Temari burst out laughing, 5 seconds later I was laughing with her. We were still laughing as we walked out of the closet. Sasuke stared at us.
“You wouldn’t get it.” Temari said as we laughed our way to Sasuke’s bed. We laid down and 5 minutes later everyone was fast asleep.
