Chapter 3
“Alexa don’t forget that tomorrow you have the magic training with me.” Merlin said while I and Leon were leaving
“Don’t worry I’ll be here on time. I hope.” I said waving and laughing while Merlin just nodded and smiled.
Leon and I kept walking in silence until I couldn’t take it anymore and I just stopped making him look at me and then I faced his eyes and he knew what I was going to say
“You knew it didn’t you? That’s why you wanted me to have my sword always with me.” I said meeting his eyes
“I did but I didn’t tell you because you would freak out. You almost froze when you saw them today imagine if I had told you sooner, you wouldn’t sleep.” Leon said giving his worried look
“Thanks for protecting me but no more secrets alright?” I said punching his arm softly and smiling
“Alright.” Leon said putting his arm around my shoulders while we were going towards the cave. My eyes widened at that move of his, I wasn’t used to it. In fact he always seemed cool and protective but I never saw him be romantic or sweet to a girl and now I had his arm around my shoulder [DON’T BLUSH, DON’T BLUSH] I thought.
When we reached the cave we heard Yuffie talking with Aerith so Leon took his arm from my shoulder so quickly that almost made me spin, he smirked at this and I glared at him.
Aerith noticed or faces so she giggled
“Yuffie don’t these two look good? Always teasing each other.” Aerith said
“You’re right. So cute.” Yuffie said
“GIRLS! Stop it!” I said throwing my sword to the floor and then running after them, while Leon sat on the floor just watching. I end up jumping on Yuffie making us both fall on the ground making me, Aerith and Yuffie laugh while Leon just looked at us. Then when I least expected Leon came and picked me bringing me to the place he was before
“Hey, you could just have called me!” I said struggling to get free but he just wouldn’t let go of me, then he pushed to the wall
“Enough play. Fight me let’s see if you are any better because you actually fought well today.” Leon said
“Thanks” I said grabbing my sword while Aerith and Yuffie went to a corner because Leon was very competitive with me. He was always challenging me and being ‘mean’ because he was always saying that I had to try harder but to them he didn’t say anything and that drove me crazy. But I wanted to show him that I was good fighter no matter what he thought.
I was in my position ready to strike him but his eyes seemed like if he was hunting or something, I feared those eyes but I couldn’t show it. I was getting closer and closer and suddenly I attacked and or swords met, in a bad duel. I attacked, he defended, he attacked and I defended we spent a lot of time between this move until he moved so fast behind me that before I could turn or jump he pushed my leg and I was the floor. He jumped witch made my eyes widen and then I moved my sword so I blocked his, he smiled and I pushed him away from me.
My back hurt, so my legs and I was afraid that my arms were too weak to continue this fight. Leon smirked while I was breathing heavily but glaring at him, challenging him because that’s want he wanted, my attention. Suddenly he attacked me powerfully making both or swords fall on the ground so as I, and now I was mad
“LEON! Get of me!” I yelled while Leon grabbed my arms
“The fight is not over yet now without swords.” Leon said grabbing my arms harder making me breathe harder. He started to fight me carefully because he knew that I had pain. Until I got sick of him and I punched his stomach and then I was on top of him
“Enough! Why are you pushing me so hard?” I said with pain all over my body and trying not to fall on him
“I was just seeing how much you could take and you’re pretty beat up. So what about if you get of me and you go to your room?” Leon said making a way to get free
“You’re crazy.” I said with a disappointed face then I got up very weakly. Yuffie came running to help me.
“Thanks Yuffie.” I said smiling and grabbing my sword with one arm and having my other arm around her shoulders.
“He exaggerated this time but don’t be mad at him.” Yuffie said
“I’m already mad he seems to like putting me this way. I don’t understand him. Why did he hurt me so much just to see my capacities? I’m not as strong has he and my body is not used to this kind of pain. It’s throwing me down.” I said holding on to her totally because I was too weak. Leon did it, now I knew what getting our ‘ass kicked’ meant.
