.Homecoming Queen.JB.Part Six.

The weeks went by faster than I could've imagined.I passed them ignoring Nick comepletely, even when he stopped me in the halls to talk, I would just pass him.Suddenly, it was opening night for the play.

'Good luck sweetie!'My mom said.They Jonas' parents and mine had gotten home from their extended vacation to watch me and Joe in the play.

'Thanks mom.Bye.'I said, adjusting my newly aquired bangs.I hated them.They made me look like a fag.I sighed, and walked onto the stage, wearing my blue PJs.The curtain opened.

Camp Rock!'I stood in the same pose, smiling at the crowd, breathing heavily with my arm extended in the air.Unlike most school plays, we actually had to sing every song.I was positive my voice would be gone.The curtains closed.We all jumped out of our positions, smiling, and hugged eachother.I hugged Joe.

'Good job!'He said, pulling away.

'You too!'I said.We got into our lines.The curtain opened and we all bowed.Then it closed.Most people got off the stage, except who played Caitlyn, Nate, Jason, Tess, Ella, Peggy, Joe and Me.The curtain opened again, and we bowed.It closed again, and everyone got off except me and Joe.He grabbed my hand, and the curtain opened again.We walked forward and bowed.I waved to the audience, and so did Joe, then it closed again.We walked off the stage, and hugged everyone.

'You all did great!'Mrs.Derrby said.'I am so proud!Now, lets all say a goodbye to Corii Parker, who is moving to New Hampshire tomorrow, to attend the American School of Gymnastics.'She said sadly.I rolled my eyes but smiled all the same.Everyone took turns hugging me.Lacey came running in.

'OH MY GOD!YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME!'She said, hugging me.Joe laughed and hugged her too.He pecked her.

'OOh, did I miss something?'I asked.

'He asked me out last night..'Lacey said.

'Niice telling me!'I said.She laughed.I laughed too, and walked into the dressing room I shared with the girl, Josie, who played Tess.I waved, got changed, and left.

'Lets go.I gotta finish packing.'I said.My mom nodded, and we walked outside.



The next day, I woke up at 4:00am to get ready for my flight.To my surprise, when I walked into the living room, Joe, Nick and Kevin were spread out around it.I laughed, and poked them all in the face.They awoke with a jerk at the same time, rubbed their faces with the same hand in the same way, and yawned at the same time.

'Never...again...'I said, laughing.

'Huh?'Kevin said.

'Never mind...'I said, walking into the kitchen.I poured myself some cereal, then walked back into the living room.All of them had migrated to one couch, and were watching a re-run of LOST.I sat on the couch next to Nick, making him look at me weirdly.I just watched the TV.

'This is the episode, where Jon gets shot by Ben, and everyone thinks he's dead, then he magically shows up again.'I said.Joe turned off the TV while all three groaned.

'Way to ruin it.'He said.I smiled, and took a bite of my Froot Loops.

'What time is your flight?'Kevin asked into the silence.

'Uhm, 6:00, but I gotta be there an hour and a half early.'I said.

'It's 4:30.'Nick said.

'And I'm late.Kevin, wanna give me a drive?'I asked.He nodded.

'We planned on it.Wanna say bye to your mom.'He asked, watching me grab my iPod, and open the door.

'She, uh, she left last night, with her new boyfriend.'I said.

'Didn't she have a husband, like, when she left?'Joe asked.I nodded.

'I dunno what happened.She's a whore anyways.Lets go.'I said, walking out the door.They looked at eachother, shrugged and nodded, following me out.


The boys stayed with me until my flight came in.Turned out it was late, so it was leaving at 7:00 instead now.My mom sent me a random text message, saying bye and have fun, but I didn't answer.

At about 5:30, Joe had to go to the bathroom.He didn't come back till six.I was scared to ask what he was doing.

'Joseph...gonna regret this...but what were you doing?'Kevin asked as he sat down.

'OH EM GEE, KEVIN, THEY HAD BARNEY DOLLS IN THE GIFT SHOP!'Joe yelled.Every head in the gate turned to look at us.

'OH TURN AROUND, IT'S NOT LIKE HALF OF YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED A SIX YEAR OLD ANTICS!'I yelled.

'He looks 18...'Some lady said.

'Did you hear what he just said?'Nick said.She opened hermouth, closed it again, then walked away.I nodded.

'Thats right.'I said.'Joe do you want a Barney doll?'I asked.

'YES!'He said.I nodded.

'Lets go get you one.'I said.He smiled, and hopped up.He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the Gift Shop.


SoI bought him a Barney doll.Turns out, it dances and sings.I was going crazy by the time we reached the gate again.

'You actually bought him one?'Nick asked.I nodded.

'Mhm.He was a good boy.'I said, ruffeling his hair.Joe swatted my hand away.

'I'm not a boy!I'm a man!'He said.I raised and eyebrow and looked at the Barney doll.

'I'm gonna give it to Frankie!'Joe said.

'Joe, Frankie grew out of Barney before you did.'Nick said.Joe stuck his tounge out at him, and shoved the Barney doll into his bag.

'I LOVE YOU, YOU LOVE ME!'Came from the now moving backpack.

'Oh look.Barneys dancing.'Kevin said, groaning.


Finally, 7:00 came around.

'Flight 725 is now boarding.'The flight lady person said.I stood up.

'Thats me....have you ever noticed that whenever someone is leaving, and they have people with them who they'll miss alot, and they'r flight is called, they say thats me?'I said, standing up.They all laughed.

'Wow Corii.'Joe said.He wrapped me in a hug.I hugged him back, tightly.

'Keep the squad in shape.'I told him, pulling away.I had given Lacey head cheerleader, and Joe was the new co-head.He smiled and nodded, the tears in his eyes visible.

'Don't cry Joey.'I said.He glared.

'One, I am NOT crying.Two, never call me Joey again.'He said.I nodded, then hugged Kevin.

'Bye Kevvy.'I said.He laughed.

'Bye Corii.'He said, releasing me.Then I hugged Nick.He hugged me back tightly.

'I'll miss you...we'll miss you.'He said, releasing me.I nodded, wiping the tears from my own eyes.

'Bye guys.'I said, turning and walking to the gate.I handed the lady my ticket, she punched it, then I walked into the tunnel.I looked back at the boys, waved, then got onto the plane.
