~ Short Of Breath ~
Chapter 7 : ~ Short Of Breath ~7~
In this short chapter, Trinity realizes that Blake really does care for her. In his own special way.
Jordyn was back. So now, Jasmine got to spend some time with her, and Blake and I were going on vacation. Where? At the moment, I was unsure. but, we were thinking beach. I was looking at some travel options when he came bustling through the door. He told me about some wicked party.
So, that's where we were at the moment. Somehow, Blake and I had found ourselves playing a game of strip poker with some other guys and girls. Well, the other girl had chickened out when a guy told her when you lost, you actually had to strip.
"Read 'em and strip, boys!" I cried and Blake covered my eyes. "Thank-you, Blake," he chuckled and continued the game. A boy named Jacob set his cards down.
"Not so fast little lady," he went to my school. Such a perv. He put displayed his cards with a smile. "Take it off!" he cried. And just as I was debating whether or not to kick him or slap him or really go ahead and pull my shirt off (there was one underneath it), Blake grabbed his arm. He turned it over and, sure enough, a card was hidden under his sleeve.
"You cheating? Trying to see my girlfriend naked?" he asked and put him in a headlock. From the looks of it, it must have been kind of painful. "We're taking this outside!" Blake shouted and someone held the door open for him. I shook my head.
"Blake! Blake, now? It's raining out there. And you're not even wearing shoes," he shook his head and blew a kiss. I laughed and looked at him. In his own strange way, he loved me. He really did.
The party was over and we sat in his car, simply driving around. "Where you wanna go?" he asked, taking a left somewhere.
"Hawaii," I stated. He looked at me as if I was half out of my mind. "Okay....Colorado!" his expression remained the same.
"Uh...I don't think you can drive there, babe," he said with a laugh and combed his bangs out of his face with my fingers. "I was talking about a vacation. For the two of us. And maybe, the three of us," he automatically knew who the third was. "A chance to see if we're for real. Make sure we're not forcing it. That's why I say we take a chance to be alone for just three days.: Blake was smiling from ear to ear.
"Are you serious? That's FANTASTiC!" he kissed me on the lips and started doing a little cheer. I laughed again and kissed him back. We were having too much fun to let it end. But, in Colorado, our lives almost did.
